TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Saturday 2nd October 2021)
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” ‘I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 275TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
We give God the glory for another day in this new month. We thank the LORD His for protection, provision, mercies and comfort on every side in a time like this. Day unto day we see Him show us great and mighty thing which we now not, making our ongoing School of the Spirit something not to forget for eternity.
No matter what we are being taught on this side of eternity, we must realize that when we get there; when we fulfill our days and go to stand before Him in the next life, we will know and understand things better bye and bye. The imperfect and obscure will become perfect and comprehensible. Some things that the weakness of human words could not let us explain to you will become clear to all of us.
Oh, how I look forward to that day!
This morning we shall be revisiting a proceeding word from the LORD. I believe this is what the LORD want us to came on today on this platform. The word says;
“there is something to come out from for God to come into you to unleash His glory.”
We taught about becoming one who stand in the presence of the LORD in the day 6 of season six of the Seven Days Seven Mountains School of the Spirit. The presence of God is the storehouse of God’s goodness, manifestations, gifts, callings, graces, and etc.
Most of the divine promises we receive from God cannot come to pass until we become people who can stand in His presence.
I don’t know if God has spoken to you of something He wants to do for you, in you or through you, and yet it’s not coming to pass. May be some prophets may have told you to give some money to them in other to activate it to come to pass, and perhaps you have done so.
You must understand that when preachers set their affection on self, money or pleasure, they make giving the chief condition for outbreaks of GOD IN People’s lives. That is when receiving substance from men becomes the highest form of worship to them.
THE SECRET CODE TO SEEING GOD’S PROMISES COME TO PASS IN OUR LIVES IS BECOMING MEN AND WOMEN OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
The highest form of worship is to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God until we are ushered into His glory to become people who stand in His presence like Gabriel.
When we become men and women of His presence, it can manifest in and through us, and bring every word of His to pass in our lives.
That is when we become cedar flourishing in His courts. The people of God must understand that the ultimate vision of GOD for us is that God comes into our lives and tabernacle in us, making us men and women of His presence.
When God comes into our lives, and we become people of His presence, our friends and enemies will notice a significant change. Devils we have taken for angels for a long time will manifest, scream blasphemies and depart from us. That is why when you begin to grow in grace or in the presence of the LORD, you begin to notice people changing their attitudes towards you.
It can be one of the most difficult times for a child of God who lives among men and women who do not truly know the LORD. But you will find God guiding you with amazing lights and understanding on issues of life and driving darkness away from us.
It can come to a point that People who were not originally designed to be part of our destiny painfully withdrawing and becoming extremely hostile and antagonist.
When God comes in to dwell and make you a person of His presence, whatever and whoever is not of God in your life will begin to recent you.
AGENTS OF DARKNESS YOU MAY HAVE TAKEN FOR AGENTS OF GOD WILL BEGIN TO BLASPHEME AND WITHDRAW FROM YOU.
That is when even members of a local church, or a set of ministers of the gospel who are filled with the spirit of hell become antagonists. In fact, they will say they cannot be wrong being in the majority, that you are the one that is wrong. But they forget the 400 prophets of Ahab that were wrong and one Micaiah who was right in 1 Kings chapter 22.
When you become a man of woman who stands in the presence of God, everything that is not of God that may have attached itself to your life will definitely react. But all that is the burden attached to the blessing. Because it is better for God to dwell in me and make me one who stands in His presence, then men stay away from me, than for men to stay with me and God stay away from me for not being able to stand in His presence.
When men stay with you and God does not, your life will be full of problems. But when God stays with you and make you a man or woman of His presence, your life will be full of peace. The Bible says,
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4 NKJV
This scripture shows us some of the amazing things that happens when God tabernacle with us and make us men and women who stands in His Presence. If you look at it carefully, you will discover that there are tears that cannot be wiped away from us until that happens. If we try to wipe such tears away by sowing seed, fasting, petitioning our request before God, running after prophets, or looking for a spiritual person to speak into our lives, or sacrificing anything they tell you to sacrifice, they will never be wiped away.
In fact, all the woes of men are products of losing the presence of God. So, you cannot replace being a man or woman of His presence with any other things when dealing with certain tears of life. So many are trying to wipe away tears that can only be wiped away when God tabernacles and make them people who stand in His presence.
DO NOT SUBSTITUTE THE CALL TO HIS PRESENCE WITH ANYTHING. IT WILL NOT WORK!
Whatever evil work in your life that deliverance ministers may have blamed on your foundation or evil altars can only be neutralized in your life when God comes into your life to tabernacle and make you a man or woman who stands in His presence.
That is why I tell people it’s not the presence of an evil foundation in their lives that is responsible for their problems, but the absence of the foundation of the LORD in their lives. When God tabernacles your life, and you become one who stands in His presence, the Bible says no evil will befall you. Whatever cannot befall God will not befall you successfully.
However, the journey always begins from the place of using God’s saving grace in your life to come out of anything unclean. A major highlight in our devotional text says;
As God has said:
“I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” ‘I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”
You make use of God’s saving grace through fasting, prayers, and separation from anything considered unclean by Him (not by religion) to come to the place of becoming one who stand in the presence of God.
In this days of the spirit of compromise, it is difficult to come out of things God considers unclean. People who should know will be the first to attack you and say you are getting it wrong. They could become very vicious and dangerous.
But we must obey God at all cost and come out of anything He considers unclean.
It could be a church that has become unclean in his sight, a business that is defiling you, a friend or carnal or sinful relationship. It could even be a paradigm to shift away from; a thought system or mindset to dissolve by the power of scriptural revelations.
COMING OUT OF ANYTHING UNCLEAN TO FIND A PEG IN THE HOLY PLACE IS VERY VITAL.
As we bring this to a close, I want to submit to you that there are dimensions of God you will never know until you come of things that are spiritually unclean. This is a month of portals. We must embrace the clarion call of becoming men and women of God’s presence to experience the blessings of the month.
The Rhema-word remains, “Come out from among them and be separate … and I will receive you.”
Sadly, there are people who will never know those dimensions because they are too synched to the unclean to come out of it. But the word of the LORD remains constant. God will never unleash more of Himself into your life if you have not used His grace upon your life to walk away from things unclean.
My prayer for us today is that we stop shortchanging our destinies through unholy attachments and alliances.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;
“O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. Now in return for the same(I speak as to children), you also be open.
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”
“And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”
‘I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 6:11-7:1 NKJV
