TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 13TH October 2021)
“For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.” Hebrews 12:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 286TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
God has been so mindful of us. Glory to His great name for giving us another day. Indeed, this is the day our GOD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. He has been faithful speaking to us about so many things concerning our faith, especially for the present times.
God is filling our hearts with these things because we are in days of the falling away. Yes, the Bible says there will be a great falling away in our times and that the love of many will grow cold. Having a strong spirit is one way we can be saved in times like this, and that only happens when the LORD fill our hearts with revelation knowledge.
If there has been any time that we need to focus on spiritual capacity building it is now! We need to really focus on building strong resistance against the horrors of the last days so that we will not fall away.
One of the areas many of us have failed in our walk with the LORD is in the area of building strong resistance, especially against sin. But if we will enjoy the best of GOD in times, and enter into our divine destiny in eternity, building a strong resistance against sin in the present times must be a necessity.
There are so any factors that happen around us that pushes us to sin. Feelings that travel into us through sound and sight, touch and taste and etc. can be very destructive and defiling.
I came to realize that the spiritual atmosphere of a nation, city or residential area you find yourself can play a major role in either your consecration or desecration as a Child of God. Most atmospheres are filled with unclean things spewed into it be unclean spirits.
THAT IS WHY THE EARTH IS WAITING FOR ITS REDEMPTION AS WELL.
As warriors of righteousness, we must understand the need to have a strong resistance against sin and all that defiles.
There are atmospheres that are filled with one form of spiritual pollutions or the other; most are filled with the influence of the spirit of sexual immorality, like adultery, fornication, bestiality, homosexuality and etc. The demon is known as Asherah in scriptures.
Now, there is the natural urge for sex which is very controllable and un-harmful if you put it under subjection. There is the unnatural urge for same desire which is uncontrollable. The unclean spirit identified as Ashtoreth or Asherah in scriptures, controls the uncontrollable side of desire for such acts. It is responsible for the transmission of the carnal feeling to have sex with anyone, anything, anywhere and anyhow.
You can easily take care of what is natural, but will need God’s power to deal with what is supernatural or unnatural.
For instance, if you just meet an opposite sex, and the first thing that comes to mind is the sexual features of the person and an uncontrollable desire to have him or her; except you have been intimate with the person before, or you have been nursing thoughts of being intimate with the person, you are under an attack from this spirit.
Previous encounters can trigger feelings you shared before. That is natural and can be controlled very well if you are not weak in spirit. Processing the unholy thoughts for sometimes also can bring one to the point of seeing someone and developing such desires. But when it is coming from this unclean spirit, it is different. However, both can be taken care off if we develop strong resistance against sin.
I don’t think in church today know about building a resistance against sin. That is why they say “we are all sinners” or “we cannot be perfect”
THE TRUTH IS, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A FREE FALL INTO SIN IF WE DO NOT BUILD A RESISTANCE AGAINST IT WITHIN US.
Because the church focuses on the mundane instead of building resistance against sin, we have so many of us with no capacity to stand the mildest temptation. Preachers struggle and fall, again and again, destroying their consecration and adjusting their preaching to suit their life styles.
Church members look at us and say that’s the way to go. I have seen so many Christian lives destroyed by uncontrollable appetite for sex for lack of spiritual capacity to resist sin.
It has really allowed the sex goddess called Asherah or Ashtoreth to fill the atmosphere of our societies. People have stay so far from the true God that this spirit has literally filled the atmosphere of so many nations, making sexual sins the killer sin of every part of the globe.
That is why we have more of single parenting than complete families these days. Many of us almost blew our lives into pieces before the LORD came in to help us from draining down the pit. There are adulterous husbands and wives, who see nothing wrong with their actions. There are husband snatchers who see nothing wrong with their actions. It’s really terrible!
An average woman will see a married man and still desire to have him either as a sex mate or husband. That is not natural. Some will even openly confront the legitimate wife – without any aorta of shame. That is not normal! It is an activity of this spirit, using the spiritual ignorance of such women.
That is why the revelation knowledge of GOD’s will and ways is important. It puts us in realms where this spirit can no longer control us. Because the spirit builds its stronghold in the thoughts of men and women; making the pulling down of those strongholds by the word of the LORD that is preached as propelled by the Holy Spirit, the only way out.
Sadly, most churches are 1st and 2nd day churches hence cannot provide the kind of revelation we need to be beyond the reach of this spirit. For instance, many church youths today have become lesbians and gays, and no one know what else they will become if something is not done.
You cannot be a lesbian or gay in a 3rd day church. The internal working of GOD’s Amazing grace will protect you from the unclean spirit in-charge
WE NEED 3RD DAY CHURCHES; NOT TODAY OR TOMORROW, WE NEED THEM LIKE YESTERDAY!
We no longer need all these 1st and 2nd day seed sowing, water carrying, prophecies spewing, salt carrying, oil carrying, mantle carrying Churches that tells us we are all human and that we make mistakes. Then what was the blood of Jesus for? What was redemption for? What was the Holy Spirit for?
We need 3rd day Churches with capacity to put God in the hearts of men everywhere. We need Christians who will give the Spirit rest in the watching men and women go to hell because of ungodly lives.
I believe strongly that God wants to help these mass of people drinking in sexual sins but there are no vessels to use in helping them. Sadly, He cannot even find many Churches or preachers to use in helping the damning souls. Though He found, they call them names and assault them terribly.
He lamented through the prophet Jeremiah saying;
“My heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the Lord, and because of His holy words.
For the land is full of adulterers; for because of a curse the land mourns. The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up. Their course of life is evil, and their might is not right.
“For both prophet and priest are profane; Yes, in My house I have found their wickedness,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 23:9-11 NKJV
This prophetic lamentation fits the description of the kind of preachers we have in Churches today 1st and 2nd days Churches – the very places infested by this devil. Truly, most of our preachers and the priests are profane in spirit; consequently, those they minister to cannot be set free from these unclean spirit. They are either polluted by desire to have sex with their members, or make money from them.
IN GOD’S PLAN, THE DELIVERANCE OF NATIONS AND ITS PEOPLE FROM THE POWER OF SIN REST ON HOLY MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD.
In other words, God’s kingdom uses Holy men and women through powerful 3rd day Church ministry to transform atmospheres and stop devils from consuming the lives of men with sinful deeds. That is why Church planting is one of the kingdom advance tools in the execution of the great commission. But if we plant 1st or 2nd day churches, there will still be no impact.
So many lives are being destroyed by this sex demon and the so many 1st and 2nd day Churches are not helping in salvaging them the reason is because, they do not have the capacity to salvage the spirits of men from any spirit of perversion. They rather promoted its activities by supporting their members in snatching people’s wives or husbands.
There are those who say nothing but rather encourages the sinful act of having illegitimate sex mates living together, bearing children and calling them married. You see co habitants calling themselves husband and wives. You find preachers persuading teenagers to make sex a practice, else they will not get married.
God said in His word;
“And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria: They prophesied by Baal and caused My people Israel to err.
Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies; they also strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns back from his wickedness. All of them are like Sodom to Me, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah.” Jeremiah 23:13-14 NKJV
When a prophet or prophetess prophesies by Baal (the god of prosperity) obviously those who drink from his or her fountain will struggle with sexual perversion. They will be having the feeling to have sex with anyone they meet and be masturbating every now and then.
Their ministries and messages will lack the power to break people from adultery, Sodomy and other forms of terrible sexual vices. They will adjust their messages to keep the people comfortable in whatever they may be doing.
They will be preaching deliverance from Satan and not from sin.
They will be manipulating them by serving them unholy communion as Holy Communion to make money out of their stupidity. They will be washing their brain by washing their feet. They will be ministering the false deliverance to them and making money out of their calamities. This is a perfect description of what have been having in all 1st day and most 2nd day Churches.
What are we saying this morning? God wants us to lead a Christian life that has enough resistance against sin but we cannot resist sin if we do not recognize the pollution in the atmosphere of the nations we live in. We must identify God’s plan for our survival and line up with it.
His plan includes the plan of being under Holy man and women of God and Holy Churches led by these men and women. Though they are very few, we must just pay the price to locate and plant ourselves there.
You cannot build resistance against these terrible spirits without external help from the ministry of Holy Man and Women of God. You and I need these breed of 3rd day preachers to build a strong resistance against sin in this present times.
We need Churches led by men and women who know how to stand in the counsel of the LORD and bring Holy Truths to our hearts – truths that can set us free from sin not just Satan. We need God’s 3rd day Churches these end times. Time has come to get out of any church you have wholeheartedly attended without obtaining freedom from sin. That is the message!

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord.
They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord has said,”You shall have peace”‘; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.'”
For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, and has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it? Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury — A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked.
The anger of the Lord will not turn back until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly.
“I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings. Jeremiah 23:16-22 NKJV
