TODAY’S DEVOTION (Thursday 13th February 2020)
“I will punish you terribly, and you will be ruined. You will be struck with incurable diseases and with fever that leads to blindness and depression. Your enemies will eat the crops you plant,” Leviticus 26:16 CEV
WELCOME TO THE 44th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF REJOICING
This is the day the LORD has made. We bless Him for taking us through the week safely even as we match towards a weekend by tomorrow. I believe the LORD God has kept you and yours this week. Indeed, His mercies endures forever. It has been our fuel all through. Amen and amen!
In our devotional today we will be concluding what we have been sharing on God’s plan for our health. My prayer is that the Echoes of these Truths will continue in your heart even after reading the last word on today’s devotion.
The devotional text exposes that there are certain sicknesses and diseases that are incurable. And they do not come from the natural realm. It says,
“I will punish you terribly, and you will be ruined. You will be struck with incurable diseases and with fever that leads to blindness and depression”.
This was a curse for breaking the law and confirms that certain diseases do not come from the natural plane; neither are they caused by natural phenomena. When medical science cannot tell us what it is, they give it a name. That is like Christening or giving names to demons.
Many do not know that demons take their names from the names that are common on people’s lips or from the environment they live in.
That is how some made-in-hell diseases are. They are made in hell and dispatched to the earth, hence confusing medical science, who most times name them according to what they do in the body or the environment those diseases where discovered.
Because of the presence of the made-in-hell diseases on earth, the scripture made it clear that proper feeding and sound medical care sometimes do not translate into good health.
WHEN SOMETHING IS MADE IN HELL, NOTHING THAT IS MADE ON EARTH CAN TAKE CARE OF IT!
Be it a bitter marriage, a spiritual life desecrating Church, a financial hardship or a health problem. When something is made in hell, nothing that is made on earth can neutralize it. You will need something made from heaven to be assemble on earth in God’s design to neutralize it.
One of the people I was privileged to be used of God to minister His healing power to was a rich guy who was eating very good food and could afford the best medical care anywhere in the world. His wife called me to her home and presented the request to me. I was amazed at how weak good food and proper medical care can be when dealing with things from hell.
Let me reiterate again that when the cause of sickness and disease come from a supernatural realm, medical care or proper feeding will not be able to handle it.
What do we do when good food and sound medical care do not translate into sound health? What do you do when your health goes down even after good medical care and proper feeding? That itself is a sign that one is under spiritual attack.
Let’s begin with an investigation; there are certain things that expose a man to incurable diseases and sicknesses. Yes, certain acts are capable of provoking supernatural attacks on a man’s health, resulting in incurable sicknesses and diseases.
For instance, if you are wicked, sinful, and persistently rebellious towards God and His ways, you will wake up to find yourself bedridden by this kind of attacks. I have heard how God struck false prophets with incurable diseases. I have also seen cancer kill a woman because she touched God’s anointed.
IN 2 CHRONICLES 21:18 GOD STRUCK A KING WITH AN INCURABLE DISEASES FOR HIS WICKEDNESS.
On the other hand, when you interact with demons or get involved in demonic activities by covenant, a time will come that the same forces will strikes you with incurable diseases.
When that happens the only way out is to turn genuinely to God and repent of all your sorceries. Then, receive Jesus into your life and get baptized in the Holy Spirit. If you do you will be saved and permanently returned to sound health.
Incurable diseases and sicknesses are from two supernatural realms – the realm of God and that of Satan. You see that all through scriptures. The realm of God strikes to judge sin, redeem souls, promote divine will, or take away evil. But that of the enemy strikes to kill, to steal, and to destroy just like that. The purposes are not the same.
God judges with incurables a times because He is a just God who cannot justify the wicked or forsake the righteous. Sometimes He will strike the wicked with incurables to let the righteous go away from his hands the way He did in Egypt.
I know many will either fear this or deny it completely, but that is the truth.
There is something called “wormwood” in scriptures. It is God’s temporal judgment on sin and wickedness. I have preached about this since 2013 that I first came to east Africa. Some people that are lying helplessly in our Hospitals are under wormwood, while others are under satanic attacks. Only the mercy of the LORD can save one whose health has come under wormwood or satanic attack.
When the health of a man starts going down because of the spiritual, the first thing to do is to engage God in prayers. Sadly, some engaged the devil through which doctors. But God remains the only peaceful answer to such problems.
IF YOU WANT A PEACEFUL ANSWER FOR A TROUBLING ISSUE, GO TO GOD NOT THE DEVIL!
The reason is if the cause of your problem is your sin or persistent unfaithfulness, you stand a better chance to be confronted by His Holy Spirit and brought to repentance if you engage God. Once you repent, He will take away the sickness or disease.
But if you go to the devil through any of his agents in Church (false prophets) or outside the church, they will always blame your enemy for a self-inflicted problem. And with that, you will never have a peaceful end.
There are so many things on this subject that we cannot state down on a brief devotional like this. But I trust the Holy Spirit to take these truths from here and lead you into all other truths about the subject of divine healing and health.
As you embrace this great day, I want you to understand that only God’s mercy can deal with an illness that is from the supernatural realm. It is therefore important that we know how to engage His mercy. God presented “confession of sin” and “righteous prayers” as a means of engaging His mercy to work for us in this respect. He said in His word;
“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 NKJV
Time for application! If you will apply these truths, you will undo whatever the devil may have done in your health.
