TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2022)
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.
Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”
The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’?
If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” John 10:31-38 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 303RD DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!
This is the day the LORD has made! We shall rejoice and be glad in it. He has kept us for the last 30 days of this month, the tent month of the year. To Him belong all the glory.
Obviously, our 31-day journey of faith have been fulfilling, blissful and glorious. Learning about the blessed Holy Spirit is one of the most essential lessons of life. It helps one’s faith to come alive, and kindles hope in the hearts of the hopeless.
It helps one understand the Bible mystery of the friend who is closer than a brother. In fact, as a believer, you just know you are not alone.
Understanding the missions of the Blessed Holy Spirit makes you want to spend every day of your life with Him.
This journey started 30 days ago and we want to wrap it up with a beautiful revelation of what I consider the ultimate of the ultimate mission of the Holy Spirit. it is the reason for all other ultimate missions of the Blessed Spirit of God. The mission of the salvation of fallen gods – salvation of lost souls.
I have come to discover that you can flow easily in the Spirit if you make the salvation of souls your purpose for living. All who were mightily used of God, and constantly aflame in the Spirit where all soul winners. I do not know why, but I have never seen any redundant Christian moving in the Power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We have seen nine gifts of the Spirit that comes to restore back our god-nature but there are not for pleasure but for service; especially the service of souls winning. Redeemed gods must be involved in the salvation of fallen gods for the Spirit of God to empower them to manifest like deities of the Most High God on earth.
WHEN PEOPLE LIKE PAUL AND BARNABAS WERE FUNCTIONING AS DEITIES, IT WAS NOT ON THEIR BEDS, OR PLEASURE TRIPS.
It was in the field where they were busy pulling out fallen gods from the grips of sin, Satan and the evil and corrupt systems of these world. The power, revelatory and vocal gifts of the Spirit manifested in their lives so powerfully that they spoke, acted and saw, like gods of the Most High God.
In one of the stories, the Bible says,
“And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked.
This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.
Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” And Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
Then the priest of Zeus, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, intending to sacrifice with the multitudes.” Acts 14:8-13 NKJV
Yes, redeemed gods came down to these fallen gods in the likeness of men. The only difference was, these gods were not gods to be worshiped but gods to worship the one and only true GOD. That was why the people who attempted offering Paul and Barnabas worship were wrong.
The gods of the Most High had to rush into the crowd of fallen gods to stop them for doing what the devil induced them to do.
The import of this story is, you may never be able to manifest powerfully as the god that belongs to the Most High God until you are out there in the field busy with Him. Jesus, as man, manifested that nature because He was busy with Him.
He said to the Jews at one time “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
Indeed, God rested on the Seventh day after creation but went to work again when man fell. And since then He has not rested. He has been working, seeking and saving that which was lost. If you want to fully manifest as a god of the Most High God, today, you must join Him in the field working. You must not be at ease in Zion.
The Pharisees where not working with God, they were busy in religion. That was why they could not manifest their god dimension. You cannot manifest your god dimension if you are just in religion. You will only manifest it if you are working with God.
We walk in the Spirit to work in the fields of the world with God. I hope you got that. We do not sit in religiosity persecuting those who are manifesting as gods of the Most High God on earth like the Pharisees did. We WALK in the Spirit to WORK with GOD in the fields of this world.
IN FACT, THE PHARISEES PERSECUTED AND FINALLY KILLED JESUS BECAUSE HE AS MAN MANIFESTED AS SUCH.
As we saw in our devotional text, they said to him “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”
It was blasphemy in their judgment for one to come alive as a god of the Most High God while the very scrolls they read and studied said they should. What a blindness!
Religion will persecute you the day you step away from being a mere man and begin to manifest your god dimension, working with God the Spirit, to seek and to save that which was lost. Our devotional text says;

This scriptural text is clear on what to expect if you want to step away from being a mere man.
It is clear on what you will see when you begin to experience the manifestations of the gifts and fruits of the Spirit, turning you into a deity, as you work with the God, who has not rested since man fell, to seek and to save that which was lost.
Fallen gods who are caught up in religion will persecute you while those who are lost will seek to worship you. Your job will be to fight both and make sure you remain on the fields of this world with your GOD, seeking and saving that which was lost as a god who worships the One and only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
I BELIEVE THE MESSAGE OF THE DAY HAS BEEN PASSED.
The Holy Spirit was not just given to us for us to be gods who sits on our dining tables and laugh. He was given to us for work; for redemptive work. He was given to us for us to be witnesses of Christ, the God of all gods who occupy the second position in the trinity as Son of the Almighty God.
Jesus Himself said;
“But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.” Acts 1:8 AMPC
As we bring this to a close, I believe your desire is to be one of the gods of the Most High God this end time. Now, let me show you were to start the journey from. Start the journey from Acts 1:8.
Seek the Power to be a witness of Christ. Not a witness of Church or a religious movement, No! That will not unlock this god dimension in your life. All who are doing that have either become magicians with bottles of oil and other deliverance inventions in their hands or are just mere men making religious noise every where. Seek to be a witness of Christ.
If you seek God to make you a witness for Christ, standing on Acts 1:8, suddenly, you will break out into that realm like the 120 that were in the Upper room did and changed the entire world till date.
Do not forget, that was the same statement that sent them to the Upper room. It was not a Bible verse then but a verse of the Spirit in their hearts. Today we have it in written form. It was written for all generations, including ours.
So, if the same statement becomes a verse of the Spirit in your heart, you will respond the way they did and come into the same dimensions they came into.
Do not forget that the Spirit will only come on us, without measure, for service not for fun. In fact, there are three levels of the Spirit that we receive. The first one comes upon us to get us saved and to activate a relationship with God. But the next levels come to empower us for ministry, especially the ministry of souls winning.
Soul winning is not the job of an evangelist out there but the job of every believer. May the LORD continue to use these truths to build up our faith and make us who He wants us to be in Jesus precious name. Amen
