TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 21ST October 2025)
“Therefore my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure; their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:13-14 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 294TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
We should not let anyone confuse us! We are in the season of the Rapture. The Bible clearly prophesied that the season of the rapture will be ushered in with an apostolic move of God to restore the Church to how Jesus started it.
The reason is, He is coming for a church without spots or wrinkles or any such thing.
In a season like this, one of the major things that must be abundantly available in your life is sufficient oil from the Holy Spirit. Yes, if our Oil is not sufficient, we should go to those who sale (the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) to buy.
This has nothing to do with the olive oil some preachers sale. Neither has it anything to do with money. It is all about paying the price that is required to have sufficient oil from the God head for your faith on earth.
In simple terms, this is the time to be part of the five wise virgins. With these opening comments I welcome you to another great day in the LORD. I hope you will be ready to join us in our meeting in Kisumu if you are around the area. Time to secure sufficient oil through an intimate knowledge of GOD.
Talking about an intimate knowledge of God, the Bible teaches that people go into captivity, because they do not have the intimate knowledge of God. There is the head knowledge of God, and there is the intimate knowledge. The head knowledge of God will help you to an extent. It is the intimate knowledge that will help you all the time.
An intimate knowledge of God, by definition, is a profound, personal and experiential awareness of God’s presence and who He is, that comes through an experiential connection with Him. This connection is beyond intellectual understanding. It is usually the root of a heart-felt relationship with the LORD!!
IT IS LIKE A “DEEP CALL UNTO DEEP” THING.
It has a burning desire to know the LORD increasingly, as a hallmark. Sometimes, it comes through a schooling in the things of God that takes one from the head knowledge who He is, to an intimate knowledge of who He is. Job got there and said:
“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:5-6 NKJV
The school of hard things Job went through was what brought him here. It was one way he was schooled in the things of God. This is the sure place to live your life from. Yes, it is the right place to live our days from, because the days are evil.
If you come to the place of faith where your eyes can see the LORD, especially always before you, you will naturally live a life of repentance. Not repentance from sin but repentance from what you think God is to who He really is. That is the repentance that brings double blessings from the LORD.
It is the very repentance that will bring amazing restoration from the LORD to us.
It is important to understand that due to the impact of the fall of man on us, there are certain restorations that will never take place in our lives by prayer, as important as prayer is. They will only take place when we repent in dust and ashes, a repentance that comes through an intimate knowledge of God.
There is a restoration that Jesus unlocked for us that you need to know. That is one of the restoration types that cannot come by prayer but deep repentance, exhumed through seeing the LORD, or having an experiential knowledge of Him. That restoration is called “the salvation of the total man.” This is the restoration that puts us beyond any curse, or work of the evil one.
It brings one to the place of declaring, “the prince of this world comes, but he has nothing in me.” One blessing we get through this restoration is complete freedom from the practice and penalty of sin. Another is freedom from the works of Satan, and the evil and corrupt system of this world.
WHAT CAN WE GLEAN FROM ALL THESE?
Simply put, if you are going through any spiritual attacks, understand that the salvation of the total man is the only way to experience true and lasting deliverance from any evil work.
The salvation of the total man is the comprehensive freedom of the spirit, soul and body from the condemnation, contamination, influence or power of sin, and the reach of Satan through the evil and corrupt systems of this world. It is the process through which we move from the old man that can be cursed, destroyed by witches or wizards, to a new life that is beyond all that.
The Salvation of the total man is the key to all forms of spiritual freedoms. It is a holistic salvation that extends beyond the spiritual into all other aspects of our lives. It covers the redemption of our bodies on the day of the rapture. That was what Jesus, and the early church made the main thrust of their missions.
The goal of the great commission that was executed was to bring all to experience the salvation of the total man.
Sadly, today many people do not even know such words exist.
Friend, there are no words to describe what will be taking place in your life in this world, and what will take place in it in the world to come, if you have not experienced the salvation of total man.
In this world you will never be free from a life of sin, demonic attacks or the satanic, neither will you be successful in anything you set your heart to do – marriage, Business, career, etc. and in the world to come, you will spend eternity in eternal fire.
We must wake up to the fact that mankind is in constant battle with hell, that is why Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail. The gates of hell shall not prevail only if one has experienced the salvation of the total man.
A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT THIS MORNING SAYS:

Let’s close this with some insights on few ways hell is enlarging itself today. One-way hell enlarges itself into the souls and spirits of men is through the media. That is why you must be careful what you hear or see. Another way is through the money-making spirit. That is why Jesus says we cannot serve God and mammon.
But when hell enlarged itself towards a man’s soul and captures it, it may leave him in any form of religion that it found him in but make sure he does not have a fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ. The only insurance to all that hell does in the lives of men is the salvation of the total man.
The spirit or gates of hell will prefer us having the Cross on our necks than in our hearts. But the salvation of the total man prevents that. The spirit or gate of hell will take the attention of a man in ministry from spiritual content and shift it to religious titles. But the salvation of the total man can help us overcome that.
When hell enlarges itself towards a man’s soul, it will fill him with itself and make sure there is no room for the true God in his life. But the salvation of the total man can stop all that.
Understand that the ultimate vision of hell the spirit is to keep people out of true relationship with Jesus Christ and take them finally to hell the place when they die. But the salvation of the total man can stop that. Child of God, do not allow anyone to hinder you from experiencing this salvation. Find a church that God is using to bring souls there to plant yourself in.
As we said at the opening of this devotional, we are in the season of the rapture. Do not subject the need to be ready for the LORD to debates, sentiments, or religion. Just get ready and live ready!!
It is my prayer that the LORD will continue to build you up and make sure the gates of hell do not prevail against you!! Amen and amen!!
