TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (SATURDAY 15th August 2026)
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’“So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 227TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORIES!
He has watched over us for the 227 days we have seen and kept us as the apple of His eyes. To Him belong the glory.
Today, God want to speak to us about the special role of His servants in the life of mankind. I hope we are ready!! There are revelation knowledge that when we get, we begin to enjoy the most of the gifts and callings that Heaven has placed within our reach, the gift of people He has called or chosen to function within the body as interpreters of divine will.
Understand that one of the major structures you find in Zion, the Church of the living God, is the presence and ministries of people Jesus Christ has chosen to function as interpreters of divine will (not dream interpreters) among the saints.
They teach the Bible and break the seal of the word for the understanding of God’s people to open. They help in improving the walk and talk of God’s people with the LORD. In fact, the saints are made perfect or mature to do the work of the ministry when they sit under them. There is no way your Christian life will yield dividends if you do not have these people in your life.
Understand that while we are equal in fellowship and redemption status in Christ, we are not all equal in gifts and callings because these men and women occupy a higher ranking than the rest of the members of the body of Christ. They are specially chosen by God to bridge the gap between the scared in Christ Jesus and the human.
THESE PEOPLE ARE GRACED BY THE LORD TO TRANSLATE HIS SIGNS, HIS TEXTS, AND HIS REVELATION INTO GUIDANCE FOR THE CHURCH.
They speak on behalf of God and equip or empower the rest of the body of Christ to not just speak on behalf of God, but represent Jesus, and do things in the lives of the sick and dying world that Jesus would have done if He were here when they find themselves in the marketplace.
The marketplace is their place of work. Like the hospital for the believer who is a doctor, a nurse, or any other health professional. It can also be called the business place or a person’s place of work.
What the saints are called to do in the marketplace is called believers ministry. Believers’ ministry is a Christian service that all who believe in Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as LORD and savior are commended to render in a lost and dying world, in their day-to-day activities. The Bible describes it in these terms;
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18NKJV
These signs are things Jesus will do by the hands of those who believe in Him and live for Him as they serve in the marketplace.
The supernatural acts will be carried out by His Spirit living in them as signs of their relationship with Him. They will cast out demons, speak with new tongues, and do other supernatural things that set captives free as they serve in their places of work. That is the will of God.
However, none of the believers in Christ can unleash this dimension if God did not give them one who is higher than them in ranking, an interpreter of His will, a helper who guides the church back to right ways to sit under and feed from. In the days of the Old Testament these men functioned as prophets and priest.
THEY WOULD STAND BEFORE THE REST OF THE JEWS TO BLOW THE TRUMPET OVER THEM BEFORE THEY CAN PREVAIL EVEN IN WAR.
God specifically said, before the army of Isreal (today the church), go to war against their enemies, these men must stand before them and blow the trumpet so that He God, can remember them and grant them victory in battle. Meaning, if these men are not there, the people will never be victorious in battle. Today, they function as apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers in the body of Christ.
Today, under our dispensation, Jesus no longer give them trumpets to them to blow. He gives them the prophetic word called the testimony of Jesus Christ, to sound and teach the army of the LORD, the church, as they face daily battle with sin, the flesh, the devil, his demons, and the spirit of this world.
These men with the trumpet called the Testimony of Jesus Christ, functioning as able ministers of the New Testament, are the men you must not despise like king Saul did. Remember King Saul in 1st Samuel 13? He despised Samuel and lost the kingdom. He thought he and Samuel were equal and decided to do a service that only the prophet was anointed and chosen by God to do. The result was not good. That is what you find today.
You find so called Christians who think they are equal with those specially chosen by the LORD to function as the interpreters of divine will, and sound His trumpet of the Testimony of Jesus Christ, hence loosing things they should have gotten cheaply in their lives. It is a trespass to think you are equal with your pastor.
Such dangerous equality places you in a very bad position in the spirit. It makes it impossible for you to become all that the LORD designs you to become.
You find many not being able to unleash their faith or carry out believer’s ministry. They rather want to stand in church to preach, be ordained an elder, or assigned any other posts. You find them desiring to grow in religion instead of growing in power, hence not being able to cast out demons and do other necessary things the LORD commanded believers to do.
Friend God wants you to grow in power by the ministry of the interpreters of His will, people who are higher than you in kingdom ranking and authority. Men God set over you so that his blessings can rest upon you. They are called to multiply your strength and unleash your cutting edge as you fight the battles of life.
YOU MUST HONOR THEM AS HIGHER IN RANK THEN YOU FOR THE LORD TO USE THEM MAXIMALLY IN YOUR LIFE.
This morning God sent this word to tell us that, (among other things) while we may be equal in fellowship as His body, there are people that are higher in ranking than the rest of the body of Christ, men the rest of the body must sit under and learn from. Our devotional text tells us that when they stand over you to speak the word, God will cause His blessing to rest upon you. He will put His name upon lives that sits under them. The word says
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them:
“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27 NKJV
It is my prayer that the blessing of the LORD continue to rest upon you as you sit under those they LORD has set above you to bless you. That no attitudinal problems, dishonor from your end, sense of equality with them, and trespass of Saul will ever spring up from you.
That their words, prayers, insights, impartations and leadership will begin to produce miracles, blessings and graces in your life that you have never seen before. That the fullness of the blessing of the LORD will rest upon you daily as you sit under them in submission to God’s will. Amen and amen.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY!!
“ So Saul said, “Bring a burnt offering and peace offerings here to me.” And he offered the burnt offering. Now it happened, as soon as he had finished presenting the burnt offering, that Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might greet him.
And Samuel said, “What have you done?”Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the Lord.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”
And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”
Then Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people present with him, about six hundred men.” 1st Samuel 13:9-15 NKJV
