TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (TUESDAY 18th August 2026)

WELCOME TO THE 230TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORIES!
This morning we will be sharing thoughts on destiny partnership. One of the major forces in God’s kingdom that is usually used to place the people of God on Higher Heights, and give them strategic victory over the devil and a lot more, as they remain sold out to Kingdom advance is the force of destiny partnership. Yes, destiny partnership.
That is the only partnership God uses in putting multiple forces of darkness to flight. It is also the very partnership God uses in increasing the impact power of believers in the battle fields fighting for the salvation and sanctification of souls.
In other words, whenever one is not fulfilling God’s full potential for his or her life, God will send a destiny partner to him or her to unlock the person’s potential and increase the person’s impact. That is why we will be sharing about that this morning. I hope we are ready for the flight with truth!!
To start with, I do not know who your partner is, but the best partnership in the world is not a partnership with men but a partnership and fellowship with God. If you partner with men, they will fail you. But if you partner and fellowship with God, you will never be disappointed. I can tell you this after over 31 years in Ministry and a lifetime in Church.
That is why it is best to seek God and find Him, and then allow Him to assemble to you, the men and women you will need to fulfill His plans and purposes for your life. If we allow God to assemble the people we need to us, they will never come as troublemakers, they will come as destiny partners.
When you find a troublemaker attached to your life, a person that has grown into your life like the branch of a tree, God never gave him or her to you. Sadly, most times we say it was God that gave us. I have heard many saying such bad relationships are from the LORD. But that is wrong!!!
DON’T DRAG GOD INTO YOUR WOES. YOU GAVE YOURSELF THAT PERSON. GOD’S GIFTS ARE USUALLY PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL!!
Eve was given to Adam and open her doors to the evil one, leading to the fall of man. But that does not make her a troublemaker. She was not!! She was only a destiny partner who was ignorant of the content of the prophetic destiny of Adam. There are destiny partners like that with such propensity.
They come to our lives by the word of the LORD but are not in sync with the content of our prophetic destiny.
They can open the doors of our lives and theirs to the evil one to come in. But that does not make them troublemakers. Troublemakers are called Sons of Tumult. God’s plans and purposes for your life will not need a Son of Tumult to be fulfilled. It will need a son of peace to be fulfilled.
Sons of tumult are Satan’s instruments of destabilization. Sadly, they are everywhere! They appear in our lives in the attitude of needed men and women, only to hide and strike at any opportune time, revealing their true identities in the process. Some are malicious, vicious, and like the snake that struck Paul in Acts chapter 28. They trap people because they come like very reliable allies and use all they know about you to manufacture believable lies about you.
God will not send us sons of tumult but sons of Peace. He said to the disciples;
“But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.” Luke 10:5-7 NKJV
If you look at this scripture, you will realize that only sons of peace should be part of our assignment, or part of our lives. Only they should form our team or our destiny partnership. No other person is welcome. Any time we bring the opposite, we will mourn. Sometimes for decades!!
THERE WAS A SEASON WE LOOKED AT THE MYSTERY OF SPIRITUAL MIDWIVES. SPIRITUAL MIDWIVES ARE SONS OF PEACE AT A HIGHER LEVEL.
Spiritual midwives are needed in our walk and talk with God, to help us bring on earth things from Heaven that the Spirit of God placed in our hearts to bring forth. They help us bring them forth according to divine patterns. Yes, they could function as destiny partners, but they are much higher than that.
Spiritual midwives are people we need to submit to and serve to enter into our own territories – they are at a higher level. They are not partners per say – they are more than partners. But destiny partners are at a lower level, because they are more like help meets.
Now, there are different kinds of destiny partners.
First, there are those God will bring into your life to be your life partner – that is your husband (if you are female), or wife (if you are male). Until you get married to them, you will not be able to unleash what God has called you to do on the face of the earth.
There are destiny partners and there are death partners. I have said this repeatedly. The reason marriage has become a curse in the lives of many of our brethren in the body of Christ is simple; majority are married to people who are not their destiny partners.
They are married to death partners. That is why their marriages are in terrible shape and their lives full of sorrow and misery.
Partnership with anyone who functions as a gate of death to God’s plans and purposes for your life, is the worst form of partnership on earth. Its partnership that is worse than death itself. The Bible says,
“And I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God shall escape from her, But the sinner shall be trapped by her.” Ecclesiastes 7:26 NKJV
Now, God did not create your marital life to be occupied by a man or woman who is not your destiny partner.
IF YOU ERRONEOUSLY GIVE THAT HOLY PLACE TO THE WRONG PERSON, YOU WILL LIVE IN HELL ALL YOUR LIFE ON EARTH.
For instance, if you are a God-fearing man, be careful who you marry, because if you give that holy place to a woman who looks so beautiful and “wife-fy” in your sight but is spiritually a woman whose heart is snares and nets, and hands fetters, she will be more bitter than death to you. I have seen too many god-fearing men destroyed by women.
The same is applicable to god-fearing women. Many have been killed or destroyed by terrible men. So, don’t give your marital life to a man the Bible calls a “Son of Baliel” or a “Son of tumult.” You could end up in the belly of hell or have the rest of your life filled with sorrows. A man or woman’s marital life is to be occupied by a destiny partner, not anyone who twinkles their fancy.
If you are saved, your marital life is too holy to be occupied by those the bible call pigs and dogs. The vision remains to have a man or women who will multiply your strength as you share your life with them. A major part of our devotional text says:

This text contains the purpose of destiny partnership. The purpose is that that two might chase ten thousand. If two are not chasing even a thousand, it means the partnership is diminishing the strength of both. It is not fulfilling its purpose. The only way out will be to meet the LORD for redress. You must all begin to pray prayers that will change you both until God restores what might be missing. That is the word of the LORD!!!
