TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2025)
“Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:45-46 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 41st DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
It’s a good thing to give thanks to the LORD after passing successfully through a night and resting to have our cells renewed. Generally, the night season is God’s season of renewal of life on the face of the earth. That is why it’s important that we say “thank you LORD for another New Day” when we wake up.
It’s being our season of victory and God has been faithfully breaking the seal of His word to us, to help us position for the blessing.
For the first 41 days of this year, we have had 51 teachings through our 40 special days with Jesus. Today is the final day of the Journey and we urge you to join us for the meeting. It starts at 9pm EAT, which is 7pm WAT.
All through the sessions we have had, the Spirit of Truth has fed us with proceeding-truths from the LORD. We have been instructed, corrected, guided, restructured, restored, delivered, and given standards to raise. I don’t know about you, but I am very grateful to God and His Holy Spirit who made all that happen.
Indeed, God will not stop pursuing His own with mysteries because He wants to be revealed. God does not want to be concealed. That is why it pains His loving Heart when a preacher stands before a people to preach stolen messages, or inspiring and motivational messages that did not reveal God to the people.
Cross-less and Christ-less messages are everywhere today, making no impact on the dying souls of men.
At most putting monies in the pockets of preachers but not Christ in the character of the people. It is eternally dangerous to have such messages on the lips of preachers. But I believe this will not continue for long, because Jesus said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
From the prophetic template in scriptures, we can see that God is already raising an army to preach the message of the Cross again and impact the souls of the perishing.
YES, OUR GENERATION IS MARKING THE END OF THE SAUL ERA; THE DAVID ERA IS BEGINNING.
The Giants of moral decay and corruption are being taken down. Only those with eyes on relevant Scriptures are seeing it. I sense a release of divine acceleration for us in this season. People will be made to run ahead of time to catch up with the time they have wasted in false Christianity.
Yes, they will run to catch up with the time they have wasted drinking oil and taking it to be the Holy Spirit, using sand to pray, using water to obtain deliverance and practicing all kinds of sorcery in the guise of prophecy. So, today we will be looking at the blessing of divine acceleration.
Child of God, one of the things you will need to have a year of victory is divine acceleration. A life that lacks divine acceleration will be caught up by the enemy and ruined, especially the class of enemies called avengers. It will not be able to recover lost grounds of life. It will stagnate and not progress in anything it lays its hand to do.
Personal mistakes of life and sins can be very costly to our divine destiny. They can cause us to lose ground by preventing us from accomplishing certain things or becoming certain things in their seasons.
For instance, they can prevent someone who has entered their season of marriage not getting married, or prevent someone who has entered their season of bearing children after marriage not to bear children.
It can prevent someone who has entered their season for entering the university or college not to be able to entered. It can prevent someone from doing or accomplishing certain things in their seasons.
HOWEVER, THE BLESSINGS OF DIVINE ACCELERATION CAN NORMALIZE THINGS. IT CAN CHANGE ALL THAT.
Abram got one Ishmael from Hagar, and it paused God’s plans for his life for 13 years.
But the blessing was placed on his life after God brought him into the covenant of circumcision, today it appeared as if nothing happened. His greatness is still all over, and all the prophecies God buried in his life has been fulfilled except one – the prophecy of the Kingdom age.
There are times that, due to certain circumstances of life, we do not rise early to pursue certain life goals until it’s too late. When that happens, the blessing of divine acceleration is the only hope we have.
Now, sometimes we do not need divine acceleration because there is lost ground to cover, we need divine acceleration to accomplish great things within a short period of time. A life that lacks the blessings of divine acceleration will have its treasured visions thwarted by time.
Divine acceleration is also what helps us to keep to divine schedules. It helps us not to miss what the Bible teaches to be our divine schedules.
I have taught repeatedly that God originally scheduled everyone to come into destiny at 30 years of age. You see that in the life of the Levites. In His plans, once you are thirty, you should start unleashing why you are here on earth; you should start manifesting your divine destiny or fulfilling your assignment.
Joseph became prime minister of Egypt and minister of Agriculture at 30, and at 30 Jesus began to fulfill his ministry.
There is something in God you are expected to start doing at 30, something you are to start fulfilling. That is the schedule of God for your life, and for the life of each person on it. But not all keep that schedule. Even Abraham could not. He started with God at 75 years of age. But divine acceleration helped him.
Divine acceleration is the blessing God uses to help us recover and keep the schedules we could not keep, within a short period of time.
Friend, in 2025, the grace of divine acceleration will be needed in your life, to enable you to catch up with certain things you have missed in life. You will need it to be able to walk with God and be all that He created you to be within a season of life that you never be.
IT WILL HELP YOU TO BE ALL THAT WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.
Don’t forget, God operates from a realm where there is no time. So, He can bring you into that same realm so you can fulfill within a short time what you should fulfilled years back that you could not fulfill. His hand can come upon you, and you run ahead of even those who may have gone ahead of you in life, and still happily and successfully fulfill why you are here on earth.
A Major highlight in our devotional text this morning says; “Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” That is Divine Acceleration.
Child of God today is the day for the hand of the LORD to come upon you. Yes! This is the time for the hand of the LORD to come upon you and make you run and catch up with those who are ahead of you in life and even overtake them!
This is the time for the blessing of divine acceleration to descend on you and help you catch with time and be all that god has created you to be. He said we are fearfully and wonderfully made. There are schedules for our lives. The Bible says God has scheduled our days.
This is the time for the hand of the LORD to come upon you to propel you meet your own schedules – schedules you might have missed or the ones you must keep this year. Amen and amen!!
