TODAY’S DEVOTION (Saturday 2nd August 2025)
“When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightning, and an earthquake. Revelation 8:1-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 214TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
It’s the second day of the 8th month of the year; we give God the glory and praise for His kindness. If we were to pay to stay alive, I would not have made it to four years. The Childhood diseases I had would have killed me.
But God did not place the cost of staying alive on us. He placed it on Himself. He placed the cost of our healing, deliverance, peace of men, and all the critical things we need in this life on Himself.
The scripture of our devotional text was x-rayed during our just concluded dominion seminar. I don’t know if you are still part of the altar raising, oil drinking and salt in prayer using churches, and all that. If you are, you may not understand what I am sharing. It is important to note that our earth is looking for what the current breed of mega churches do not have.
They have noises they call revival, but not thundering, lightning, or earthquakes that heal morally sick souls. Few have what is healing sick bodies but nothing that heals sick souls. The reason for this is much, but part of it is the false doctrines and heretic teachings that have characterized them all.
For most in the fallen church, whatever is not bringing money, they will throw away!! Irrespective of how true or Biblical it might be. They cherry pick Bible truths and even scriptures. They preach the word according to their carnal or earthly desires.
BUT THE TRUE CHURCH DOES NOT OPERATE THAT WAY!!
It operates like the early Church, upholds sound doctrines and does not use deliverance inventions in ministry. The true Church is pure, holy, and pressing daily for perfection. If you will ever fulfill your destiny this end time, among all we have shared on this platform, you must plant yourself in a spiritual family that belongs to the true Church.
Few believers and destiny men and women know that like the two children in the womb of Rebecca, there are two churches in this one womb that calls on the name of Jesus; this one womb called Church. We have the true church typified in Jacob, the generation of those who genuinely seek the LORD, and the false church typified in Esau.
The false church, sometimes with the resemblance of the true church, trades the eternal for the earthly, and is made up of believers who are mindful of the things of men instead of the things of God. This church has Christians who operate in the false grace that permits and not forbids sin. It does not have the grace that facilitates the cure of the practice of sin.
It comprises of all forms of Babylon preachers and Christians, and has those who use oil, water, salt etc., in prayer, practice dark doctrines like the raising of the altars of sacrifice, the silencing or breaking of altars, the recovery of lost stars, etc.
It comprises of all the money and carnally minded preachers and their members, and people who do not know the LORD at all, hence, yet to come into their rest. It also has its own spiritual families and common associations or groupings under the umbrella of one towering spiritual godfather that all must bow to. You will not be able to fulfill your destiny in God’s design if you belong here.
You must find a spiritual family that is part of the true church and belongs to. It is a creation of the Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God’s Kingdom. Until God set you there, you will lack significant things you need to become all that He has created you to be. He said in His word:
“A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” Psalm 68:5-6 NKJV
YES, GOD WILL HAVE TO SET YOU IN A SPIRITUAL FAMILY SO YOU CAN FULFILL YOUR DESTINY.
The blessing of being set in a spiritual family is much more than words can capture. One of the prayers of Moses for Judah was for God to bring him to his own brethren. The term “your own brethren” speaks of a spiritual family. Moses, a man who stood before God face to face saw the importance of a spiritual family to the release of destiny and prayed that Judah be brought to his own people. What a prayer!!
Judah had a glorious destiny but needed a spiritual family for it to be fulfilled.
That prayer teaches us how important it is to be brought to our own brethren by the LORD. It is when that happens that our nurturing can begin. It is lack of proper apostolic nurturing that defeats the destinies of many. They live in isolation or join themselves with associations of glorious, rich and successful spiritual pigs in ministry like the prodigal son joined the company of pigs to find what to eat.
You will not do much if you are either isolated or with the wrong people. You could succeed but not in God’s true plans for your life. Your God approved manifestation, or greatness will begin to shoot out when God set you in your own family, not when you stand alone or choose to sit with the wrong people.
Do not forget that the wrong people are always attractive, accommodating, seductive, and inviting. Anyone who is not intimate with the word will be caught in their net. So, you will not be becoming anything God has preplanned you to be in life if you are either isolated or with a company you should never associate yourself with.
Yes, there are church groups you should never associate with, in order to save the sanctity of what God want to do with you. People in such places companies are usually told by the LORD to come out from among them.
SO, DO NOT BE PART OF THOSE WHO GOD WILL SAY TO YOU, “COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM”
Your destiny will not need such people to be fulfilled. Be part of those who seek nurturing by all righteous means. Be part of those who understand that until God gives one the gift of a spiritual family, he or she will not have the ideal nurturing to release their divine destinies.
Understand that you must be nurtured to become what God created you to be, and to be nurtured one will need a spiritual house designed or tailormade for the release of their destiny. Yes, if spiritual isolation is your problem, God will focus on setting you in a spiritual family before anything else.
He will have to place you among your own spiritual brethren before He can bless you.
Sometimes, you can be in a crowded church that appears hospitable, or a not crowded one, and still be isolated or not nurtured. This thing is not about number but divine placement and personal participation. In your spiritual family you will increase and multiply. In your spiritual family you will grow in faith and become strong.
In your spiritual family, God will reveal Himself to you. In your spiritual family, you will be moving from faith to faith, truth to truth, sanctification to sanctification, and rest to rest. In your spiritual family, your spirit will be made perfect, all the mount Zion blessings in Hebrews 12:18-24 will be speaking in your life.
This is one of the many reasons your destiny will need a spiritual family, that is an extension of the true Church, to be fulfilled. A main verse of our devotional text says:

Spiritual families this end time will be the apostolic place to be in order to become part of the end time moves captured in words like thundering, lightning and earthquakes.
As we bring this to a close, I want us to understand that the concept of spiritual family refers to a group or community of believers or churches that share a common faith, uphold similar sound doctrine, with the Holy Spirit flowing through their speech, spirits, paradigms, hearts, and motives in a similar way.
They are united through their faith in Jesus Christ, grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ, and transcend biological ties in their interpersonal spiritual relationship. They are usually headed by spiritual fathers like Paul or Elijah, tested leaders with fire in their bones, a deep love and concern for souls in their hearts, and truth on their lips.
You will need one of this type of Holy Spirit creation in the body of Christ to unleash your destiny. However, the process will begin with God giving you one of these men as a shepherd or pastor.
