TODAY’S DEVOTION (Monday 4th August 2025)
“Say to God, “How awesome are your works! Through the greatness of your power your enemies shall submit themselves to you. All the earth shall worship you and sing praises to you; they shall sing praises to your name.” Psalms 66:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 216th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
God have been faithful to us and has kept us for 216 days. We have escaped so much because of His mercies and because of His outstretch arm. To Him belong the glory!! Amen.
God does not celebrate the death of humans. Only the devil does. But when the wicked perish, the Bible says there are shouts of joy. The reason is the freedom the people experience. That is why it is not good to be wicked. But God does not celebrate the death of anyone.
Also, there is nothing that can ever come out of hell that God has no cure for. His power comes earlier (to save) than our problems. His goodness comes earlier than any ruin. His supply comes before the need. That is the God we serve. We are still alive because that is His way of taking care of us.
We have been looking at things our divine destinies need to be fulfilled. It has been an interesting journey of apostolic truth. We have seen a lot of fundamental things. It is my prayer that we apply what we have been learning.
There are certain destinies that will need eternity invading time for them to be fulfilled. Sometimes one’s type of kingdom assignment and the unique content of a man’s destiny is what determines what it needs to be fulfilled. That is what we will be sharing today.
The Bible spoke of how hell have been invading time, by enlarging itself and swallowing up men and women.
There is so much that has been set in motion by this invasion of time by hell, to execute the three-fold assignment of the devil, which is to kill, to steal and to destroy. Speaking of the devastation effect of this invasion of time by hell, or the abode of the dead, the Bible says:
“Therefore, my people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Therefore, Sheol has enlarged itself and opened its mouth beyond measure; Their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:13-14 NKJV
WHILE THE CORPORATE DESTINY OF THE CHURCH IS TO STOP THIS INVASION, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHOSE DESTINY HAS MORE TO DO.
Due to this invasion of time by hell, there is so much resistance to good on our planet earth. Even those you want to do good to have a way of resisting you from doing it. That is why it is practically impossible for the Kingdom of God to advance effectively without the defeat of this invasion of time by hell; an assignment God placed on the corporate destiny of the church with few destinies within the church having much to do than others.
Our LORD and savior Jesus Christ presented stealing, killing, and destroying as the three-fold work of the devil, and presented the release of life form Heaven, His life, as the answer. But that life is to be released through men and women who have paid or are paying the price. Death must work in them for the life needed by those who have been taken over by this invasion to be released to defeat the invasion. That is the principle.
The early church had these kinds of people. Paul was one of them.
He laid the foundation for this breed in the Body of Christ. He wrote to the church at Corinth about it and taught the kind of price those chosen by the LORD to deal with the invasion of hell in time need to pay.
What he wrote was so authoritative that it was canonized as part of the scriptures. When something is canonized, it means it is infallible and authoritative and should be treated as sacrosanct. The Bible says he wrote to the church at Corinth saying this about the price those destined to defeat the invasion of time by Sheol or hell, paid in his own time.
IT IS THE VERY PRICE THOSE CHOSEN IN OUR DAYS ARE TO PAY AS WELL.
He said:
“always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown in our body.
For we who live are constantly [experiencing the threat of] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body [which is subject to death].
So physical death is [actively] at work in us, but [spiritual] life [is actively at work] in you. 1st Corinthians 4:10-12 AMP
Yes, physical death is actively at work in us, but spiritual life is actively at work in you. That is what the LORD wants to achieve through those chosen to defeat the invasion of time by hell. That is the price they will have to pay. It is a price only those chosen to do more than others can pay. It was the very price Paul and the rest chosen in the early church paid.
The result of this price was the invasion of time by eternity (God’s glory), resulting in an uncommon demonstration of the Spirit and the power of God to defeat the invasion of time by hell (Sheol) in their days. It will be the same result we will get in our days, if we pay the price.
Your destiny will need the payment of this price to be fulfilled. Understand that if the price for the release of destiny is not paid, there would be no release of destiny. Your destiny will need to pay this unusual price to be fulfilled because of the unusual things God want to accomplish by your hand.
Yes, if you have been chosen or predestined by God to play the kind of role Paul played in his days to defeat the invasion of time by hell (Sheol) in our days, you will need eternity invading time when you preach, teach, pray or prophesy in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now, for eternity to invade time, you must pay the price, the price of always carrying around the body the dying of Jesus so that His resurrection life may be shown in your body and save lives from hell; the price that will make physical death to be actively at work in you, so that spiritual life can be actively at work in those you are sent to.
THERE IS NO WAY THE ETERNAL GLORY OF GOD WILL NOT INVADE TIME TO DEFEAT ANY INVASION OF HELL BY YOUR HANDS IF YOU PAY THIS PRICE.
The invasion of time by hell has not just impacted on the lost world, it has also corrupted the present church. The invasion of time by the eternal glory of God, which is the cure to all these, will not therefore be limited to the space of the dying world, it will be extended to the present Church.
So, God will have to use you to touch the church as well.
We are in the end times, and time is of the essence. God want to clean up His church and take back from hell the souls that have been returned to their unsaved states within the church and are in danger of hell fire. This He wants to do by getting them to be saved and sanctified again.
But it will not be by might or by power but by eternity invading time, and you must pay the price for that to happen if you have been chosen to work with the LORD and bring redemption. When eternity invades time with the eternal glory of God, you will see an outbreak of the greatness of His power dealing with moral decay, provoking genuine repentance, and stopping the invasion of time by hell.

As we bring this to a close, understand that it is practically impossible to fight the battles of the LORD, work with Him in cleaning up His Church and taking back souls from the kingdom of darkness without a demonstration of the power and glory of God.
Friend, from the day man fell to our days no redemption plan has been properly executed without eternity invading time to compel darkness to submit.
Get set for a move of God that will help our generation to defeat the invasion of time by hell. Get set to pay the price so that the Sun of righteousness will begin to rise upon you with healing for the morally sick, so that you can be made whole and take the healing virtues to them.
