WELCOME TO THE 269th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF VICTORY
It’s indeed been victory galore for us. To God be the glory!!
The best place to spend a year is not in your nation of birth, family, dream job or marriage. The best place to spend a year is in God’s plans for our lives. That is what the LORD has enabled us to do.
People who spend their years in God’s plans for their lives will automatically move from victory to victory. God’s plans are the place of life victories, into the only place of guaranteed interventions from God, answer to our prayers, guaranteed defeat of our enemies, release of divine provisions for their lives, and peace.
Talking about divine provisions, if we truly come into the revelation of, what God’s provisions are we will strive to spend our years within His plans for our lives. God’s provision follows God’s plans. If we lead our lives within God’s plans, His provisions will follow us.
God’s provisions are not limited to money. God’s provisions are anything spiritual or natural that Heaven provides to enable man to live peacefully and successfully in this world and the world to come.
So, it is not limited to money!
Some of the things God provides to enable us live peacefully and successfully in this world and the world to come are as follows; divine direction, divine peace, divine wisdom, divine presence, visions and revelations, divine favor, divine attention, divine intervention, divine visitation, divine habitation, economic fatness, a destiny partner or a life partner for those whose destinies accommodates marriage, redemption from sin and the sorrows of sin, deliverance from every work of the devil, and lots more.
YOU CAN NOT HAVE ALL OF THAT AND NOT LIVE A BLESSED LIFE IN TIME AND A GLORIOUS ONE IN ETERNITY.
Most of the things do not come by prayer and fasting (as good and helpful as prayer and fasting can be) they come through stepping into God’s plans for your life. Our devotional text this morning says, “The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts and plans of the peoples of no effect.”
That includes our selfish plans. He will never bless them. They will become of no effect too because they do not carry the seal of His will. I am yet to see God establish plans that are product of our thoughts.
God does not prosper what He did not originate. A thousand years of prayer, fasting and financial sacrifice cannot make Him prosper what He never originated – be it a marriage, a business, a job, a career, a church work, a crusade, a singing ministry or any other form of gospel ministry.
The easiest way to keep God out of your life is to spend your years pursuing a selfish plan or ambition. The surest way to keep your life away from His provisions is to walk in your plans for your life instead of His plans for your life.
Many are struggling in great need of God’s provisions listed above because they are outside His plans for their lives. Without the revelation of His plans for their lives, they will remain in great sorrows in life. God said in His word:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 TLB
Only God’s plans can give us a future and a hope. Not our plans, no matter how good they might be. Not the plans of the evil one, which is bad news for those who enter into covenants with him for money or any other thing. All plans without a divine seal will never give one a future and hope.
LET US REFRESH YOUR MIND AGAIN ABOUT THIS, AS WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE.
There are three basic plans that are influencing humanity on our planet earth today: the plans of God, the plans of man, and the plans of the evil one (the devil). The Bible sometimes calls plans “counsels.” And it says, “the counsel of God shall stand.”
Meaning others may manifest but will never stand the test of time or bless humanity in the long run. Only that of God will both manifest, bless humanity and stand the test of time.
The plans of God are the only ideal plans for you. Embrace them no matter what the cost. Stay very far from anything that is not His plans for your life. The plans of God are the only plans on planet earth that has a glorious future for you, no other plan, no matter how promising they might be.
Sadly, many are living according to the plans of men and the evil one for their lives. That is why they are in misery. If you are not sold out to God’s plans for your life, you are living outside His will. It will not bless you. Stepping into His plans might be difficult but that is what must be done if you want the evening of your life to be blessed.
We were not originally designed to survive in our own plans for our lives, or the plans of the devil – irrespective of how lofty they may look. We were designed to survive in God’s plans. Christianity is not receiving power from God to succeed in your own plans. That will be Christianity controlled by the spirit of Babylon not that of Zion.
You find many in church conceiving their own thoughts or plans and asking God to endorse them or make them prosper. When they do not prosper, they accuse evil altars of being responsible. Most have not been taught what Christianity is.
Christianity is submitting your entire life to Jesus Christ and harmonizing it with His plans for your life, and if you have not heard it before, I want to announce to you through this devotional that God has a plan for you. You must discover that plan and harmonize your life with it. Do not step into what looks like it, step into what it is.
DO NOT LIVE YOUR DAYS DOING THE CONVENIENCE, LIVE YOUR DAYS DOING THE NECESSARY, GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE; EITHER CONVENIENT OR NOT.
The rhythm your life will produce if you harmonize it with God’s plans is supernaturally pleasant. Two words we can use to describe it are “peace” and “Prosperity.” Yes, because we live in an imperfect world there could be challenges, but the peace and the prosperity of God will always be available to deal with them.
What God has designed to be turned on in your life by stepping into His plan, cannot be turned on by praying, fasting, or sowing seeds, (as we call it today). When the bad and ugly are always happening to you, it is a sign that you are either outside God’s plan for your life or you are not following them accurately.
Stepping into God’s plan for your life remains the only solution to your entire problems. Life outside God’s plans can be very horrible. You will lack divine interventions when you need them most.
Many do not know that God do not just intervene in things. His first consideration is if the people in sorrows or pain are in His plans for their lives. If they are not, He will not just intervene. He will first bring them into His plans for their lives. He might send a prophetic word to them to bring them into His plans for their lives, then make intervening in their situations the next step.
You see that all through the Bible!! That is His history. That is His character. That is the way He works. Divine interventions are only release from God’s Throne after people have been brought into divine plans.
There is one vivid Bible example we will love to examine, that example is the nation of Isreal in Egypt. The Israelites were in Egypt for 400 years. They were in slavery. Many people were also in slavery like them under other kings and crying for help from somewhere like the Israelites were. But God did not bring them out of their task masters. He brought only the Israelites because they were in His divine plan.
THE EASIEST WAY TO TERMINATE THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL IN YOUR LIFE IS TO STEP INTO A DIVINE PLAN OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE.
Step into a Church that is God’s plan for your life. Submit to a minister of the gospel that is God’s plan for your life. Get involved in any ministry that is God’s plans for your life. Get married to a man or woman that is God’s plan for your life. Pursue a career that is God’s plan for your life. Buy a car or live in a house that is God’s plans for your life.
People who limit their lives just to things that are God’s plans for them will end up living the most peaceful lives on earth. When you step into God’s plan for your life, the enemy will step out of your life. God’s divine plans and demonic oppression cannot co-exist!
Even in the school of receiving blessing from God, what will come to you by stepping into God’s plans for your life will never come to you through any other means!
Now, having known all that, how do we step into God’s plan for our lives?
It begins with a word from the LORD. It begins from the place of revelation. God will have to speak or reveal them to you. Anything about God is not discovered on the surface of life but revealed to the Heart in the deeper places of the Spirit. Your pastor or father in faith will play a great role in helping you discover and walk in God’s plans for your life.
In fact, if God blesses us with men after His heart as spiritual fathers, and we listen to them as they listen to God, we will find ourselves in God’s plans for our lives. But all these are not possible if our intimacy with God is shallow.
I want to encourage you to begin a deeper walk with God today. You have been shallow for too long. You must go deep to discover God’s true plans for your life. When you walk with God and allow Him to take you to the deeper places of His Spirit, you will wake up one day to see yourself fulfilling His plans for your life.
As we bring this to a close, it is important to note that one of the cries of the Holy Spirit through the pages of the Holy Scriptures has been that we walk in wisdom because the days are evil. One way to do that is to limit your life to places, people, purposes, Ministers of the gospel and every other thing that is God’s plans for your life.
Stop keeping God away from your life by doing your own thing. Make up your mind to make His plans yours and you will see Heavenly portals open over your life over time. You will see a glorious you emerging gradually until you are full of blessings to bless others! Amen
