TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 17TH April 2026)
“My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh!
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.
Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you. Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.
Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:20-27 AMP
WELCOME TO THE 107TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY
I thank God for His mercies, kindness, and presence in our lives. I thank God for what He is saying and doing to us in our 12th Anniversary Apostolic Assembly (12th AAA). There are no words to capture what people whose hearts are hungry for God do receive from Him each time they appear in His manifest presence.
God is not just speaking to us things aimed at removing our feet from evil but also rising along with Him to stop its spread in His church, our nations and wherever He might send us. He is not just giving us words to consent and submit to or keep in the center of our hearts so we can find life and health for our flesh, He is giving is blueprint for the execution of His mandate upon our lives.
Indeed, we have been receiving and carrying home much more than our finite minds can grasp. Eternal treasures have been imparted into our hearts, and our souls have been charged with flames of truth that if we keep burning, we will take care of the next 12 years of our lives and ministries.
In fact, most of what hungry hearts receive from God each time they come into His presence is not known to them. It is the little we know that we talk about. But what we do not know is usually heavier than what our minds do grasp and our mouths do talk about.
I believe it was in the light of this that David said:
“Blessed is the man you choose, and cause to approach you, that he may dwell in your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, of your holy temple.” Psalms 65:4 NKJV
Indeed, blessed is he or she that God chooses and causes to approach Him, because He will not leave empty handed. He will go home with two classes of deposits from GOD: the known and unknown. The known is usually talked about but the unknown is not talked about because the unknown is not yet revealed to our senses.
It is what is revealed to our senses that we talk about. But what is concealed from our senses we cannot talk about.
YET, GOD WILL MAKE SURE THEY SPRING FORTH IN OUR LIVES AND ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE.
So, if you are not part of these meetings, you are missing more than any mind can fathom. The Bible describes these known and unknown BLESSINGS that come from God’s presence to us as “The goodness of God’s house.” It is the goodness of God’s house that takes care of the bad things in our own houses.
David knew that well, hence saying, “I was glad when they say, let us go to the house of the LORD.” People who know that, will never fail to appear before God in His house, no matter the cost.
Yes, people who know that it is what goes on in God’s house that takes care of what happens in their own houses, will not need encouragement to come to meetings like the one we are having now, or make appearance in God’s house nonnegotiable.
They know that appearing in the house of the LORD is appearing before God, and it’s the key to every good they may need in their own house or lives. The Bible says,
“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.” Psalm 84:5-7 NKJV
Child of God, our coming to the house of God is an appearance before God in Zion, not just a fellowship. The rain of truth that falls on us is to create pools of blessings in our lives. The rain puts something into our lives that sets our hearts on pilgrimage and gives us the power not just to make the valley of Baca in our houses or lives a spring, but in the lives and houses of others also.
THE VALLEY OF BACA MEANS THE VALLEY OF WEEPING. THE SPRINGS MEANS POOLS OF BLESSINGS.
What we get in the house of God helps us to turn every valley of weeping in our own houses into springs or pools of blessings. In other words, it gives us the power to turn the valleys of Baca, or weeping, into springs or pools of blessings. You should therefore not underestimate what you get when you pay the price to go to the house of God.
Now, the house of God is not a building but the place of His manifest presence. When we gather, His presence that manifest with truth and power, or grace and truth, is what makes it the house of God. The blessings of His house can therefore be called, the goodness of God’s manifest presence.
That is how what goes on in God’s house takes care of what goes on in our own house. If you desire to know how God blesses, that is how He blesses. He takes us to His house, then unleash the goodness of His house upon us, and then what He unleash upon us takes care of our house or our lives.
So, when we come into the place of His presence, the house of God, we are bound to go home with the goodness of His manifest presence, or the goodness of His house. Which is sometimes like a seed that manifest overtime in our lives in awesome power or in what the word calls terrible things in righteousness in our houses.
The Bible further said:
“By awesome deeds in righteousness you will answer us, O God of our salvation, you who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the far-off seas;” Psalms 65:5 NKJV
Let us close this with the revelation of the two realms that humans exists from. These realms are spiritual.
THEY ARE REVEALED IN THE SCRIPTURES BELOW. THE BIBLE SAYS:
“For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will you allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16:10-11 NKJV
As we can see in this scripture, the first spiritual realm people live from is the realm of hell called Sheol or a realm where the presence of God cannot manifest or does not exist. David said, “For you will not leave my soul in that realm or allow Your Holy One to see corruption.”
If our souls lives from the realm of Sheol, we will see corruption or decay. Yes, we will see corruption in our interpersonal relationships, in our health, in our national government, our services to God or humanity will be corrupt. We will see corruption in our churches and ministries, in our moral lives, finances, marriages, etc. We will have corruption to fight daily, even if we are prayerful.
It is where the soul lives from, that determines the state of our lives. Do not forget that!!!
The antidote of all kinds of corruption is the manifest presence of God. The soul must live from there, which brings us to the second realm some humans live from, the realm of God’s manifest presence. If we live our lives from that realm, we will find life and pleasures for evermore, the goodness of God’s house will fill our souls and lives.
Concerning that realm, the Bible says; “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore”
Friend, there is a generation that lives their lives from the manifest presence of God. It is this generation that receive blessings from the LORD each time they come into His presence. The Bible described what the blessing produce as “Fullness of Joy.”
These things are collected by hungry hearts not any heart, because it takes a heart that is spiritually hungry for more of God to collect significant blessings from Him. May the word of the LORD never depart from the center of our hearts. Amen!!
Make up your mind not to allow the influences of Sheol that is being spread through sounds and sights and life circumstances to fill your soul but the goodness from the house of the LORD. Pursue the goodness of the house of the LORD above everything else. God designed that what happens in His house sustains what should happen in our houses.
He designed that peace and prosperity should happen in our houses, and that what happens in His house should make that happen in our houses. So, do not cut this off by not paying the price to be one of those who dwell in the house of the LORD, one of those who appear before God in Zion. Amen and amen.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY
“O God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed. For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:9-11 NKJV
