TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 30th June 2021)
“For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;
a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. Deuteronomy 8:7-9 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 181ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
“Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has wrought desolations and wonders in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire.”
Glory be to God today is the last day of the month of June. God has been faithful to us doing us well. He has been our Father and great KING, faithful in all fronts. He has been the sustainer of the breath in our nostrils. He has been the source of our vitality and health.
One of the beautiful things about our God is He made the most important things on earth very free. He made them so free and affordable that even the poorest of the poor can have them. One of them is the air we breathe. It does not matter what your economic state is, you can have sufficient air to breathe in and out freely.
Another thing God made free is water. Yes, it’s been sold today because of obvious reasons but in the beginning it was not so. Water was created to be absolutely free. Even as it is sold, no one need a million dollars to have a cup of water when thirsty. It is still affordable by the poorest of the poor.
We can go on and on in counting the things God made to be free.
The month of June has been an exciting month for me personally. It’s the month of my birth on earth, and other destiny matters. No man can accurate tell certain dimensions of God’s favor upon his life. There are things God does that are simply beyond words. Truly, a lot of wars has ceased in our lives.
OUR MOUTHS CAN TESTIFY!
Wars against perceived and supposed enemies have ceased. Wars for things that do not really matter has ceased. Getting involved in battles that will not earn one eternal rest with Christ has ceased.
Truly, God make wars to cease. He breaks the bows of immoral and ungodly thoughts that throw men into wars of lust within and without. He snaps the spears of ignorance that keeps a man pinned to the contention for the earthly even at the expense of the eternal.
He burns the chariots of demons that drive men into self-destruction using the fuel of the sin nature and spiritual illiteracy. He indeed makes wars to cease. And all that He does by inserting into our spirits sufficient grace and truth.
Sufficient grace and truth will always result in increase of rest roundabout in the life of a Child of GOD. It is God’s internal demolition force that makes sure that any thoughts that rises itself against the knowledge of GOD within us are destroyed. Satan destroys men by using such though as launching pads. So once they are destroyed he can no longer hold sway in people’s lives.
I remember a preacher in Nigeria many years ago (his church is currently in Kenya) who asked people to sow a seed of 40,000 Naira to have rest in their lives for the next 40 years. People gave! I did the same thing in my own little Church too because Winners Chapel in Lagos began it and we were heavily influenced by them.
May God forgive us, because he defeated our lying to His people by making sure people die before the date we gave them.
Today am matured and know that rest does not come by giving some money to God, as good as that may be. Rest comes by having sufficient grace and truth in your spirit. The Bible made it clear that we shall know the truth, and the truth we know and apply shall set us free or give us rest on every side.
If you are in a Church that gives you Oil to drink, washes your feet, serve you unholy communion to take as Holy Communion, gives you salt, mustard seeds, water, incense and etc. to pray with, you are in trouble. You will never have rest. You do not need things like that to have rest.
YOU NEED SUFFICIENT GRACE AND TRUTH IN YOUR SPIRIT TO APPLY IN YOUR LIFE AND KEEP APPLYING UNTIL REST COMES IN.
Our devotional text says;

Every journey with God may be full of trials and temptations and all that, but it ultimately brings one to the good land, either in time or eternity. It only requires patience, endurance and perseverance, especially if your life is a product of very bad decisions taken over a long period of time.
The good land in time is an economic state where we eat bread without scarcity. It is an economic state of full life in Christ where there is no lack. But the good land in eternity is different. It is described as Heaven and all its glories there. Hallelujah. That is what every journey with God brings a man to. While parts of Isaiah and the book of Revelation speaks of the good land in eternity, Deuteronomy speaks of the good land in time.
You see, the Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 8:1-18 is one book I will counsel you to meditate upon from time to time in the coming month because of the seasons that are upon us. That is if you really want to prosper by tapping into the riches of God from His world to your world.
Our New Bible secrets inspired book; PROVISIONS FROM UNEXPECTED ENDS, is also there to help us. Both teaches that when we plug into the glory, we begin to enter into realms of blessing where lack and scarcity do not exist.
Don’t forget, the glory of God is the very storehouse where God’s riches for the righteous are kept. And our devotional text made it clear that part of the prosperity of the righteous in time is to eat bread without scarcity or lack. God wants us to have this prosperity than we want to have it. The reason is obvious.
END TIME KINGDOM ADVANCE PROJECTS WILL BE EXECUTED USING THE PROSPERITY OF THE RIGHTEOUS NOT THAT OF THE WICKED.
In his second letter to the church at Corinth, on the 9th chapter, Paul explained this prosperity to be a life of sufficiency in all things made possible by God’s by grace. However, it is impossible to enjoy this kind of economic freedom God’s way without having your soul unplugged from hell. That was why God took Israel through a 40-year period of learning and unlearning (a period of unpleasant divine process) to unplug their souls from the spirit of hell.
The pattern has not changed. He does the same to every of His true sons and daughters in every generation. Our souls must be unplugged from the influences of the gates of the enemy, like hell before we begin to ride on the wings of a grace that brings the prosperity of the righteous.
When you hear God telling you not to live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from His mouth, He wants to unplug your spirit from the spirit of hell that is turning people into sins of hell. Israel was in constant battle with this spirit that was why all who left Egypt, except for Joshua and Caleb, did not enter the promise land.
The Bible made it clear that the spirit (hell) was drawing them back to Egypt each time they hit a time of difficulty. It is the same spirit that draws Christians back to sin and compromise each time they hit some difficulties. It is the spirit of compromise! It pushes us to lower the standards for money to come in. We forget that any money that comes into our lives through compromise will consume us finally. That is why the prosperity of some is destroying them.
But concerning the Israelites the Bible says, God humbled them, allowed them to hunger, and fed them with manna which they did not know nor did their fathers know, that He might make them know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”
That is the same revelation we need to unplug our spirits from the influences of the gates or spirit of hell. We need to be feed with the word of the LORD from the World of God not from this world. Any word of God from this world is polluted and mutilated by greedy, ignorant, demonic or untrained preachers. But any word from the world of God is sound doctrine, giving us life eternal. Hallelujah!
THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TO LIVE BY SO THAT OUR SOULS CAN BE UNPLUGGED FORM THE INFLUENCES OF THE GATES OR SPIRIT OF HELL.
It is God’s process for bringing us into blessings. That is why Jesus says He will build His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. If we allow Him to build us with words from the World of God, the gates of hell will not prevail against us. Sadly, many do not like this system of God. They do not like divine process. To them it takes too much time.
But we fail to realize that God can never prosper who He has not processed. He does not fill who He did not form. Only hell prospers people without process. Just one moment of worship is enough. But it is not so with our God. He must empty us first of everything; sin, man, the evil and corrupt systems of this world and Satan, before pouring His blessings from His glory into us.
In simple terms, the prosperity of the righteous does not come swiftly – I mean without divine process. It is the prosperity of the wicked that comes that way. It comes without divine process. It could have a process to it but the process is not always divine. It is either human or demonic.
If you want God to prosper you, then you must be ready to have Him process you. The reason for that is to build in you the capacity to carry what He is bringing. I have come to discover that many do not even have capacity to carry one million successfully. They either spend it in moments or destroy their lives with it in days.
I gave someone just a hundred thousand to count the other day, it was trouble. I gave another less to count and it was a crisis. Then I said to them, “You do not know how to count this little money and you are asking God to bless you?” God may have to wait until you develop capacity to count and not to lose His money because as the money comes, you must know how to count and use properly for the purpose of accountability.
ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIRES PROPER COUNTING.
Friend, so many do not have capacity for money. It manifests in different forms. There are those that just a little financial raise can send away from God. You will not see them in church again. I remember a woman that hunger and lack kept very close to GOD. She was always asking me for prayers. But as soon as she got a little financial rest she disappeared from my sight. I marveled.
Then I asked myself “what will she do if God gives her one million?” She will just jump into hell itself.
Most people who seek prosperity from God lack the capacity to carry what they are asking Him to give them. GOD WILL NEVER GIVE YOU WHAT HE HAS NOT GIVEN YOU CAPACITY TO CARRY SUCCESSFULLY. Comfort remains the cheapest access to corruption. That is why Jesus Himself said, “It’s more difficult for the rich (without God) to enter into the kingdom of GOD.”
Another reason why the prosperity of the righteous do not come swiftly lies in the story of Lazarus and the rich man. God will rather have us poor on earth so we can be with Him in Heaven like Lazarus, than have us rich on earth and be in hell like the rich man.
What I mean is, God will never prosper you above or below the prosperity of your soul. He will prosper you AS your souls prospers.
You see, Satan so much wants us in hell that he can give us the whole world so long as it will make us to lose our souls. That is why the prosperity of the wicked destroys them!
As you pass through this day, do not forget that divine process will be necessary in your journey into your riches in glory. When it comes to Kingdom wealth, no process no prosperity. People who dodge divine process will eventually end up with the prosperity of hell.
Lastly, you must understand your seasons and live your economic life according to God’s season for your life. Do not go for shoes that will eat up your entire monthly income believing God to replenish. He will never replenish! Do not live in an apartment that will consume all you earn believing God to send miracles. There will be misery instead.
CUT YOUR COAT ACCORDING TO YOUR CLOTH FIRST, NOT ACCORDING TO YOUR SIZE, AND GOD WILL INCREASE YOU TO CUT IT ACCORDING TO YOUR SIZE.
When we first came to Kenya, we lived in what you will call a cave compare to my house in Nigeria that was like a football field, so to speak. We live in not the best places in Nairobi. We cut out coats according to our clothes not our size. By my size I should be living in the posh places of Karen and etc.
That principle still has not changed. That is one of the principles the LORD is using to take the ministry forward. We do not live according to our size but our clothes. We know God will keep increasing us until every soul appointed to us to save is saved.
When you cut your coat according to your size, believing God to do the rest, you are tempting Him. Jesus said to Satan, “you shall not tempt the LORD your God.” If hell drives you to do that, please tell it “You shall not tempt the LORD your God”
Learning how to be prudent financially is part of divine process. It is lack of financial prudence that has destroyed so many people. Not really the presence of demons. Someone may argue that it is the presence of demons that took away financial prudence from them, then why has it not returned after all the prayers.
Friend, demons cannot take away financial prudence from anyone who develop it with God. Become financially prudent and watch how God will use it to change your life. Begin to apply common sense in the use of money and see how your life will turn. Start being judicious in your expenditure and see the LORD use it to raise you up. For many that is what have been missing.
For instance, in Kingdom financial management, you must know which money God brought to you as seed (or investment) to sow into a business idea, and be able to differentiate it from the money He brought for you to give to Church. They are all seeds but for different purposes.
Most preachers will want to collect even the one God did not bring for you to take to church. You must therefore be prudent and not allow that to happen. If you give to Church What God brought to be sown into a business idea, you will remain poor for a long time after giving. There is so much to share with you on this but God will guide you in the rest!
It is my prayer that as we close this month today, every form of financial rascality and foolishness will depart from us in Jesus precious name. Yes, the LORD will begin to teach us how to be prudent in money matters as we ask Him for wisdom, and wait on Him for it, before making financial decisions, in Jesus precious name! Amen and amen!!
