TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 14th July 2021)
Say to God,
“How awesome are your works! Through the greatness of your power your enemies shall submit themselves to you.
All the earth shall worship you and sing praises to you; they shall sing praises to your name.” Psalms 66:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 195TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It has been days of seeing His marvelous helps and glorious deeds in our lives. Slowly but surely the planet is moving to the end of its time in God’s calendar. At the same time, each and every one of us is moving to the end of our appointed days on planet earth.
God designed that our days not be terminated by any force of darkness but by the fulfillment of our purposes on earth. That is why to Him alone belongs escape from death. He holds the keys of hell and of death and will never use them against His own. So long as we are His own, we are in shape, So, we do not bother about long life. We only bother about eternal life; because for us to live is Christ and to die is gain.
This morning God has a word for us. We are going to begin with matters of kingdom advance. First of all, I want to make it clear that it is practically impossible for the Kingdom of God to advance effectively, clean up the Church, and take back souls from the powers of darkness without a demonstration of the power and glory of God.
From the eternal days of creation, right to the day man fell in the Garden of Eden and to our days, there is no redemption plan that has been properly executed without eternity invading time to compel darkness to submit to God’s will for the lost.
If you look at the story of creation, you will discover that it took the invasion of eternity into time for the chaotic and void earth to become habitable. It took the invasion of eternity into time for creation to be outsourced from Heaven to the earth. It took the invasion of eternity into time for the flood to cleanse the earth in the days of Noah.
IT TOOK THE INVASION OF ETERNITY INTO TIME FOR NOAH AND ALL WITH HIM IN THE ARK TO BE SAFE IN THE DAYS OF THE FLOOD.
It took the invasion of eternity into time for Shem to become a principality of God after the flood. Eternity invades time with the power and glory of GOD that exists outside this world. That is what is required for significant kingdom advance to really takes place in a world that has become more proficient in building walls of resistance against God’s agenda.
We will need humble and down-to-earth men and women who will function as God’s principalities again in our days by the invasion of eternity into time. From the Historic book of the Jews, Shem was one. He served as the worker and sustainer of righteousness to the ancient world of his times.
In Judaism he is believed to be Melchizedek. But in Christianity we believe the pre incarnate Christ is Melchizedek. And as earlier stated in some of our teachings, both schools of thought could be right, because Christ can enter into a man and form His image in him. Maybe that was what happened.
Maybe Shem synchronized with eternity so well that he lost his sinful beginning and end becoming Melchizedek. Concerning this mysterious figure, the Bible says;
“FOR THIS Melchizedek, king of Salem [and] priest of the Most High God, met Abraham as he returned from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
And Abraham gave to him a tenth portion of all [the spoil]. He is primarily, as his name when translated indicates, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, which means king of peace.
Without [record of] father or mother or ancestral line, neither with beginning of days nor ending of life, but, resembling the Son of God, he continues to be a priest without interruption and without successor.” Hebrews 7:1-3 AMP
THE REDEMPTION STORY IN THIS SCRIPTURE
I believe Jesus formed Himself in whoever this man was and became the man.
That is the same thing that should happen to us when we accept Christ – He should be so formed in us that we become one with Him losing our beginning and ending. This is a kingdom mystery we cannot even attempt to share about in a devotional.
For us, the beginning is the sin age that started in every man at the fall. The ending will be the wages of sin which is eternal and natural death. This can be called the Adamic Beginning and Ending. But when we lose it, we become a likeness of Christ in Melchizedek – with no record of adamic beginning or ending. Hallelujah!
We become kings of righteousness and peace on the face of the earth like this mysterious figure.
The Bible indeed made it clear that Christ has made us kings and priests unto our God. But this redemption story attached to the Melchizedek figure articulates it better. It gives us the identity of kings of righteousness and peace because of the ruler ship of Christ through us.
The word king means ruler. God expects that we rule in righteousness and peace on the face of the earth, under Him. He expects righteousness to be our standard or garment. That is why we find ourselves losing the scepter to be kings on His behalf on earth like Samson whenever we depart from the ways of righteousness.
Righteousness is the greatest defense of the justified because God will only and always show Himself BLAMELESS to the BLAMELESS. David said;
“I was also blameless before Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity. Therefore, the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.
With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; With a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless; With the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.
For you will save the humble people, but will bring down haughty looks.” Psalms 18:23-27 NKJV
KEEP YOUR GARMENTS PURE
When we defy our garments of righteousness we lose the scepter of authority in the Spirit. David so walked with God that he never lost that scepter. The only time it almost left his hands was in the sin of Beersheba.
The Bible made it clear that after three months of exile he returned to his throne. The lesson here is; sin will always take us away from our thrones in the Spirit. We will only return after returning back to God in righteousness!
But this entire story was made possible because it took the invasion of eternity into time for Melchizedek, the man with the story, to appear on the scene of God’s redemptive plans for mankind and unlock these realities to us! It is practically impossible for the Kingdom of God to advance effectively on earth without the invasion of eternity into time!
When eternity invades time it brings eternity products into time. It took the invasion of eternity into time, which brought about some eternity products, for Pharaoh to let Israel go. What it brought broke the backbone of Pharaoh and smashed the gods of Egypt.
There are certain evil works that will never let us go until eternity invade time with eternity products that the earth has never seen.
There are people who have been so blindfolded by religion that it will take an invasion of eternity into time to rescue them from the paths of eternal damnation. There are those who have so sold themselves to do evil, even to holy man and women of God, that it will take eternity to invade time to make a difference.
Our devotional text this morning says;
Say to God,

THERE IS A KIND OF WORSHIP THAT WILL NEVER COME FROM THE EARTH UNTIL ETERNITY HAS INVADED TIME.
The stage is set for our age and time to experience eternal products that eyes has not seen, ears heard, or hearts conceived.
Products with capacity to transform moral landscapes and neutralize darkness in ways and manners that no Church age has seen. Friend, the stage is set for God to be revealed. The stage is set for God to show Himself and let us know through the demonstration of His power and glory, the difference between light and darkness.
The hearts of many in our age is so filled with gross darkness that they can no longer tell the difference between the two!
The truth remains, like it happened in the days of Elijah, when darkness filled the hearts of Israel to designate him an enemy until eternity invades time, so it need to happen in our days. Many can no longer tell the difference between true men and lying men of God. Others can no longer tell the difference between the Holy and unholy.
Eternity need to invade time to help us out.
This inability to spot the difference is a great pain in the heart of the righteous; blood washed saints that are being called evil by the children of the evil one who are skilled at counterfeiting God and making people believe they are of GOD. But Jesus calls them the synagogue of Satan. God has promised us that it will not continue. Bible Prophecy said;
“They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”
Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:16-18 NKJV
Get set for a move of God that will help our generation to be able to spot the difference! That is the message of this devotional.
If you are being called what you are not, you may weep in secret but enhance your calm. Just make sure God’s garment of righteousness on you is intact. Do not stain it with sin or a step into the realm of the flesh. Keep it pure and retain the scepter of authority in your hand.
Time will comment and God will begin to vindicate you by doing things that will help everyone spot the difference.
