TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 15TH JUNE 2022)
“The wicked flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.
When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding, and knowledge, its stability will long continue.
A poor man who oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food [plundering them of their last morsels].
Those who forsake the law [of God and man] praise the wicked, but those who keep the law [of God and man] contend with them.
Evil men do not understand justice, but they who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully.” Proverbs 28:1-5 AMPC
WELCOME TO THE 166TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE
This is the day the LORD has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it.
The best of life is free. The air we breathe in, the ability to sleep and wake up, the sunshine that helps our crops to grow, the rain that falls and all the others that God created. If God was to be sending bills to men to pay for any of this, it would have been hell for mankind.
We get all that from Him freely and still some of us say He does not exist. Can you imagine feeding someone who say you do not exist faithfully? He has no time or recognition for you, and says all sorts of nonsense about you, yet you give him the air his lungs need to keep him alive?
Sometimes, it is important that we sit down to consider what GOD is going through in the hands of some of us humans.
Indeed, if Love was not His nature, no human would have been alive on earth. But it is difficult for love to be one’s nature and the person treats people the way they treat Him.
If God were to treat us the way we treat HIM, no human would have been alive. For instance, if He was to treat those who say “He does not exist” the way they treat Him, He would have withdrawn the air they breathe in and all other things they survive on because you do not supply the needs of someone who say you do not exist.
Our God is not loving, loving is His nature. He is not trying to learn how to love us, loving us is His nature. The reason for the eternal pain He feels for those in hell is because of His love for mankind. And someone will say “if love is His nature, why did He create hell?”
THERE ARE TWO REASONS FOR GOD CREATING HELL FIRE. LET ME BEGIN WITH THE FIRST.
You see, love is God’s nature, justice is also His nature. Because of that, He gives to everyone according to their deeds. It is His nature to give to everyone according to their deeds. You see all that in the Holy Scriptures. That is why there is judgment.
He sits as the judge of the earth and lawgiver and dispense justice both in time and eternity so that there will be order among men. If there was no justice on His earth, evil would have consumed all of us.
Can you imagine someone doing you evil or raping you and there is no justice for you? That will be terrible. Look at the pain go through for lack of justice in our nations, especially from the hands and of the political class.
So, GOD sit as judge over the earth to watch over our affairs and restrain evil. It is His justice system that has not allowed evil to overwhelm the earth. It is the same system that will bring mankind to a day of judgement. The system is responsible for Him creating hell.
Do not forget, in His justice system, there is also mercy that always triumph over judgment. That is why terrible sinners who were heading to hell but suddenly heard the gospel and turned from their ways are in Heaven. The love part of Him brings mercies and His justice part brings judgment where there is no repentance.
It may interest you to know that No one can satisfy His judgment except He Himself; that was why He came to die on the Cross to satisfy it. All born of Adam have sinned and fallen short of His glory, and the wages of sin is death; eternal life in hell. So, there was need for intervention. And Jesus on the cross was the intervention.
Sadly, a part of our devotional text says;
“Evil men do not understand justice, but they who crave and seek the Lord understand it fully.” Proverbs 28:5 AMPC
So, there are people who will still not understand no matter the explanations you make on these important truths. But it is important to note that it is God’s love nature that forgives all who repents, and His justice side that judges all who persistently refuses to repent after almost a life time of being kept alive.
He was forced by His love nature to become a man with the sole aim of dying on the cross to take away the eternal judgment of all who will come to Him for mercies, forgiveness and regeneration. Now, He is urging everyone to come to Him and let Him pour His Spirit upon them so that mankind would not need to live lives that will attract His judgment.
The reason He raised preachers and prophets was just for that but sadly many of us have failed Him.
YOU SEE IT IN THE MESSAGES WE PREACH AND THE KIND OF LIVES WE LEAD AS RELIGIOUS LEADERS.
Our messages, doctrines and lifestyles are all geared towards money and fortune. Leading to the rise of political and religious leaders who oppresses the poor.
There is a lot of transgression in our nations despite our churches. That is why we even witness the rise of many rulers who want to lead. People with no leadership qualities who just want powers to steal from national treasuries. Look at the political terrain for example, and those who want to rule our parliaments, state houses and all that. It is just a sorry sight to behold.
A part of our devotional text says;

These scriptures tell us why there are many who want to rule and why politicians have not fixed our nations. Most of them are oppressors of the poor, leaving no food but plunder for the last morsels.
If you try to point out how futile our kind of gospel ministries are, how counterproductive the pouring of oil in cities is, and how stupid we have been, becoming part of the problem instead of the solution, importing eastern ways or occult practices into church in the name of deliverance, they will call you names and accuse you of not honoring fathers.
But how can one honor someone who dishonors GOD’s way of doing ministry? How can you speak kind messages to people who are unkind to GOD and the doctrine of Christ? They bring witchcraft to church and call it prayer caravan, and the blind do not see. Things that run contrary to what the present truth teaches.
A true child of GOD will always contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints, and by so doing they will not honor one who is honoring it. But a false child will praise those who forsake it and import witchcraft into the church.
ANOTHER PART OF OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS;
“Those who forsake the law [of God and man] praise the wicked, but those who keep the law [of God and man] contend with them.” Proverbs 28:4 APMC
If you are working in the ways of GOD and you know the price of not working in His ways, you will not keep quiet when a preacher lead people into charismatic witchcraft. He may be a true of a false preacher.
I have said true preachers doing false things are more dangerous. People may fight you for saying that but there are elects that will thank you for opening their eyes.
However, history has it that no matter the resistance the kingdom of GOD faces, in every Generation, those who heeded to the call of the LORD as it came by the hands of His righteous servants, lived lives that had Jesus at the center as LORD and savior, and are today in Heaven. None of them is in hell.
Which brings us to the second reason why God created hell. The Bible says;
“ Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!” Matthew 25:41 AMPC
This scripture made it clear that hell was created by God for Satan and his angels. Men only go there for living lives that Satan and his angels create for them to live. That is why we must all resist that life Satan creates for mankind to live.
God created the way of righteousness for us to live. Satan created the way of sin and wickedness for us to live. If we come to Christ and submit daily to His word and Holy Spirit, we will live the life that God created that we live. But if we do not, we will end up living the life that Satan creates for mankind to live and be damned.
The life of sexual perversion, uncleanliness, hate and wickedness, lying and deception, preaching heresies and etc. One word for the life God created for mankind to live is RIGHTEOUSNESS and that is one life that makes a man as bold as a lion.
Do not forget, the Cry of the Spirit for this 30-Days is coming to us on fear. You will always be fearful if you are not walking in righteousness.
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD WILL ALWAYS URGE ONE TO LIVE RIGHT TO LIVE BOLD.
A part of our devotional text says;

Compromise is one weapon the enemy uses in putting men into fear. Once our way are not clean we begin to run when none is pursuing us. One of those preachers who called me said “do not be afraid of your life, just come we are elders of the city we want to see you?” And I laughed!
Afraid for my life? I have met armed criminals who called me and they gave their lives to the LORD. I just refused to see them because we are not on the same page scripturally. They bring witchcraft into the church by drinking oil and pouring it in cities but I do not.
The Bible forbids that I sit down with people who are not interested in the ways of the LORD knowing well what those ways are. It says do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. That includes those who do not believe in the doctrine of Christ. It says I should not even greet them.
I can sit with a harlot, a thieve and all sorts of men and women to reason with them with the aim of bringing them into Christ, not people who are knowingly desecrating the ways of the LORD, and resisting the doctrine of Christ.
I will only sit with you if you want to be on the same page with the LORD; if you want to be part of those who spread the doctrine of Christ instead of the doctrines of altar and redemption of first born, or any of the other money-making doctrines those you call fathers have entrenched and sealed into the spirits of men.
The wicked will always flee when no one pursue them. I spoke about oil but did not mention any names and they flared up like gas pipe lines that busted into flames. Watch out! The witchcraft they brought into the Church will consume all of them with strange diseases and deaths.
They are fleeing when I am not even pursuing them, and allowing what the bloggers are saying about me to determine what they believe about me. But who cares? So long as you are on the LORD’s side. That is what really matters!
As we bring this to close, I want to submit to us that without righteousness fear will cloth us like rags. Boldness from Heaven is a fruit of living the life of Heaven on earth.
The life of Heaven on earth is called Righteousness. If you are uncompromising and true to God, He will grant you the boldness to survive a wicked and perverse generation. That is one secret we learned from the three Hebrew boys!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“[Then] Nebuchadnezzar said to them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image which I have set up?
“Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, dulcimer or bagpipe, and every kind of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, very good. But if you do not worship, you shall be cast at once into the midst of a burning fiery furnace, and who is that god who can deliver you out of my hands?
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, it is not necessary for us to answer you on this point.
If our God Whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up!” Daniel 3:14-18 AMPC
