TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 23RD OCTOBER 2022)
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,” Ephesians 4:11-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 296TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!
I want to begin today’s devotional by wishing my younger sister, our grammarian, Blessing Takim, a Happy Birthday.
The LORD has been kind to our family protecting her from all the enemy planned. Like the Song writer will put it, the LORD has carried her while some carry their gods. The LORD has fed her while some feed their gods.
We owe Him great gratitude on this special day!
To Sister B. Takim we celebrate you today God’s vessel of mercy; and rejoice with you on this your day. We believe with the whole of our hearts that greater days are ahead of you and the LORD will perfect that which concerns you.
Happy birthday in Jesus precious name. Amen
I also want to rejoice with our brother in Christ here in the Kenyan church; Bernard Mwali, who shares the same Birthday with my younger sister. God keep you and watch over you in Jesus precious name.

We have been on a 31-Day journey of faith with the Holy Spirit.
Today is the 23rd day and with just very few days to go, we want to see how much ground we can still cover on this important truth about the Blessed Holy Spirit.
One of the major things He came to do is to set our lives in order so that we can fit into God’s plans and purposes for them.
One of the major purposes of God for our lives remains to help Him legislate the earth as gods or judges of His supreme court on earth affairs. That we started looking into few days back, and today we intend to pick up from there.
THE DEVOTIONAL TEXT OF YESTERDAY SAYS,
“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.
Therefore, I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.” 1 Corinthians 12:1-6 NKJV
Yesterday, we discovered from this scripture, that when we begin to operate in the gifts of the spirits, we can tap into dimensions of ministries in Christ, as the God of gods, and unleash His activities on the face of the earth as gods of the Most High God.
In the scripture above, there are so many sets of truths. The first is how to know when one is speaking by the Spirit of God.
Why did Paul begin with that? The reason is simple; the greatest desire of Satan remains to be like God in the house of God.
If we do not understand that, then we will not be able to recognize when we may be tapping into his dimension in our bid to walk in the supernatural. It was important for the early Church to walk in that awareness hence the warning from the man of God.
You see, when it comes to supernatural manifestations, a lot can be very diabolic. Something that is diabolic is something that has the characteristic of Satan. If you understand what the Characteristics of Satan are you will be able to escape the many witch doctors people call prophets and prophetesses today.
When it comes to walking with the Holy Spirit to manifest your divine nature, as a Son of God or a god that belongs to the One and only true God, discernment must be enthroned. You must be able to use Bible Truths to check any manifestation you may be experiencing so that you will not tap into the diabolic.
THE WORD AGAIN SAYS;
“Therefore, I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3 NKJV
When the Bible says “no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed” or “no one can say Jesus is LORD except by the Holy Spirit” the word does not mean all who do not call Jesus accursed as they speak in the name of the LORD are speaking from the Spirit of God. Neither does it mean all who are saying “Jesus is LORD” are of GOD.
There are demons that can enter a man and use him to speak so well of Jesus. That does not make them of the stock of God’s Holy Spirit.
Those statements are deeper than they appear. To call Jesus accursed is not by lips, most times. To say Jesus is LORD is also not by lips most times. It is by life style.
You say “Jesus is LORD” with your life, and that you do by giving your life to Him and bringing the totality of your being under His control. You align with His truth and do only what He wants done by your hands. Any spirit that cannot facilitate that is not the Spirit of God. And, will not be able to bring you to the dimensions we are sharing about on this platform.
If you want to unleash your potentials as God’s own god on earth, you must make sure whatever is happening within you is of the Holy Spirit.
Religious spirits can even lead you to pray for people, open a church and even go preach a salvation message in a crusade.
The only difference is, it will get no one genuinely saved, because demons do not convict people of sins, judgments and righteousness. They could make people recite the sinner’s prayer but the people will not go beyond there. They will not be able to renounce the sinner’s life.
And salvation has not taken place until one has renounced the sinner’s life.
THE NEXT PART OF YESTERDAY’S DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS;
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.” 1 Corinthians 12:3-6 NKJV
You can see the Godhead in this scripture and the role of each person in the Godhead.
We can also see what each member possess and gives to each one of us for us to become God’s kingdom people, who will function as gods or judicial officers for His kingdom on earth.
The scriptures made it clear that the Spirit has gifts, the LORD Himself has Ministries, and the Father has activities.
In other words, If you are looking for gifts, you meet the Spirit. If you want to know about ministries l, you meet the SON, and that is done by the Spirit. And if you want to experience some outbreaks of divine moves called activities, or you want to participate in them, you meet GOD Himself.
Ministries are the five-fold ministry gifts that Christ gave to the Church. Our devotional text says,

These ministry gifts forms God’s tacticians on the face of the earth, when it comes to helping members of His body to become His gods.
That is why if God want to restore back our divine nature, He will give us shepherds after His own heart, we will feed us with knowledge and understanding. Then develop our faith and bring us to the place where we can activate or participate in Activities.
When the word says “activities” it refers to the distinctive ways that GOD enables us to work to accomplish things. The ways He inspire, energize and empower us to function in the church or in other matters that concerns our walk with Him. It us also the way He moves among His own people to execute divine will and enforce His kingdom.
For instance, He energized our Bible fathers and mothers to engage in amazing feats as they sold themselves to do His will. They literally operated the way Her designed them to operate before the foundation of the world, and did so much that laid the foundation for our faith.
The scriptures also spoke about the gifts of the Spirit. But we have had enough for the day. When we come back tomorrow we will begin to unveil the gifts of the Spirit so that we can understand how to tap into them, and become gods of the Most High God on the face of the earth.
Finally, I want to submit to you that when the almighty God energize you to function as His god or son on the face of the earth, you can even speak to the moon and the Sun to stand still.
Moses parted the red sea when that happened. He smashed the gods of Egypt as a god to pharaoh when God energized Him. It is your turn to be energized.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
So, the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.
You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.
But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”
Then Moses and Aaron did so; just as the LORD commanded them, so they did. And Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh. Exodus 7:1-7 NKJV
