THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 26TH AUGUST 2024)

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 KJV

WELCOME TO THE 239TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.

This morning we shall be looking into matters that borders on the release of divine destiny. Many do not know that the word Christian was a word that was originally used to describe a people who moved from the traditions of men, to the ways of God in Christ Jesus.

It was used to describe a people who caught something beyond this world and began to unleash it on the face of the earth. They received God into their lives in the name of Christ, and allowed Him to live a life He has pre determine for mankind through them.

They lived their days, releasing a divine destiny from eternity to time, and winning their world back to God. We are called as believers to do just the same.

It is important to note that, the release of a divine destiny, has to do with the manifestation of a pre-determined plan, or the bringing into the physical realm a life that God pre-planned for a man.

Wherever divine destiny is released in God’s kingdom, the purpose of Christianity will be fulfilled. Wherever the purpose of Christianity is fulfilled, prosperity will be inevitable (the prosperity of the righteous). Those who know these things understand the root cause of poverty more accurately than others.

They know that poverty is most times the consequence of not sensing why you are here on earth, and living your days pursuing it, with the whole of your heart. It is as a result of not knowing the problems God created you to solve and living your days solving them.

God will always bring money to people who are driven by His purpose for their lives. For instance, as soon as Mary and Joseph aligned with God’s purpose for their lives, by giving birth to Baby Jesus, the wise men came calling with the gold, the myrrh and the frankincense that they needed to do what God had called them to do.

You will never lack any good things from the LORD if you seed your life into His will like they and other Bible men and women did. Yes, you will never lack anything if you decide to fulfill your divine destiny.

Your divine destiny has to do with Heaven’s pre-planned goals, visions and purposes for your life. It is in its released that your economic value increases. You must therefore understand that God buried your riches in your divine destiny.

HE MADE SURE THE STOREHOUSE OF OUR LIFE PROVISIONS, IS BURIED WITHIN HIS ASSIGNMENT FOR OUR LIFE.

The prosperity of the righteous therefore is always as the result of the release of his or her divine destiny. That is why there would have been no poor one among us if all Christians had focused their faith on releasing their divine destiny in Christ Jesus.

Let’s take a gaze into the life of the ancient nation of Israel.

When Israel (the Church in the Old Testament) came out of Egypt, there was no poor one among them. Everyone was made a Billionaire in one night because they all stepped into divine destiny. But when they were in Egypt, building Rameses for Pharaoh, they were poor. They were economic slaves.

The life and times of Israel in Egypt, and how their economic life changed after leaving for the promise land, teaches us so many things. It shows us that our prosperity is tied to our stepping into purpose. It teaches us that we will remain life time economic slaves, if we dedicate ourselves doing things that are not God’s assignment for our life!

The same divine feat was repeated in the Church of the New Testament that we all belong. When they came out of the outer darkness, and began the Church movement, the Bible say there was no poor one among them. Great grace was upon them all, and no one lacked anything.

That is still part of God’s economic vision for the end time Church. Yes, it’s His economic vision for us. His vision remains to erase lack from the saints, especially those walking in truth; so that we can have the sufficiency to do His will. But the vision will never be fulfilled until we become divine destiny driven and not carnal ambition driven.

Maybe let me ask this question. It may not make much sense, but we might get something out of it. What do you think is the worth of a man’s destiny? In my opinion, only eternity can tell.

I HAVE SEEN THE PROSPERITY IN ONE MAN’S DIVINE DESTINY TAKE CARE OF HIS ENTIRE LINEAGE.

David is an example. He started as a little shepherd boy, with nothing to his name. But it was what God hid in his destiny that made Solomon the richest king on earth, past, present and future. What God put in a man’s destiny can create generational economic freedom.

Permit me to ask again. What is the economic worth of a man’s destiny in God? Indeed, only eternity can tell. I have seen and read about so many people with the courage to pursue God’s assignment for their lives, beginning from zero, and becoming financial heroes and heroines over a long or short period of time.

Personally, I started releasing my destiny at 16. A lot has come out of it. It has taken care of so many people in my life.

Your money is in God’s assignment for your life. Your lack of it, is a proof that you are not in God’s assignment for your life. Now, this is not referring to the prosperity of the wicked. I am referring to the prosperity of the righteous, which comes as his soul prospers.

From the personal experiences I have had in life, I came to realize that there is no poor one on the face of the earth. We only have people who are yet to eat from the wealth in their divine destiny. You could be one of them reading this piece this morning. Our devotional text said, “Where there is no vision people perish.”

Vision is the unfolding or the prophetic revelation of what God buried in your destiny. It is the unveiling of what God wants you to do with your life, with an inherent power to stick your life to it. Vision is what activates the release of a divine destiny.

If you lack the vision of what God created you to do, you will never come into the prosperity of the righteous. If you lack the revelation of what God buried in your destiny and the power to unleash it, you will either remain poor or key into the prosperity of the wicked for economic freedom.

By God’s design, poverty is unnecessary! Poverty is always as a result of lack of vision, or lack of power to unleash a vision.

Wherever God’s assignment for your life is, that is where His provision for your life is. Any job you find yourself doing, and the presence and provision of the LORD begin to locate you, is the place of God’s assignment for your life.

STAY DEDICATED AND COMMITTED THERE, AND ALL WILL BE WELL WITH YOU OVER TIME.

Sadly, people will prefer looking up to others for money instead of looking up to God to reveal where His assignment for their lives lies. We do not ask the LORD the most important questions of life, hence lacking the most significant revelations in life.

We easily forget that depending on people to feed us or creeping on the floor to have them meet our need is a curse.

Except the physically challenged; People who do that are shortchanging themselves. That is why God did not create the first man an economic slave or dependent of any creature. He created him to be very wealthy through the release of divine destiny, depending on Him alone.

All the wealth Adam needed, was placed in God’s assignment for his life.

God literally put gold in the place of his divine destiny, and as he released it there was no lack in his life. In fact, poverty came when he was driven away from his assignment and the appointed place for it.

Once again, your poverty and financial struggle is a proof that you are not in God’s assignment for your life! The only creature that was created to creep with its belly was the snake, and other creeping things of the earth. You are not a creeping thing of the earth.

God wants you to stop begging to survive, and start looking into the realm of His Spirit to locate your divine destiny, where the storehouse of your livelihood is.

I believe the LORD has spoken to us. Sometimes you need just a devotional like this, to begin a journey into a better life than what you have always had. Yes, you need a word like this to act on over time, in order to change your life into what God destined it to be.

I believe we have all gotten what we need. We only need to act on God’s word.

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;” Genesis 26:12-13 NKJV
