TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2024)
“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.”
“Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:13-14 KJV
WELCOME TO THE 267TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.
The LORD has been mindful of us. Yes, we are still alive because He has been mindful of us. His mercies have been our shelter and source of sustenance. We are not better than those who are no longer alive. That should humble us!
Yesterday, we started a week-long marriage and family life conference, the 2024 edition. It was an explosion of truths on marriage matters. We saw for the first time, truths that has not be told on marriage. Please get the messages of those first two sessions.
The meeting continues today, and will be streamed live on all our social media platforms. There is nothing that empowers like gospel truths. You will be shaped by the LORD for a successful release of your marital destiny.
Now to our devotional for the day!!
It is important to note that people who are submissive to any one apart from God, can be used by the forces of hell to kill, steal and destroy. Those who are submissive to God, His word, His Spirit and His will, will be dying any death that is required, like death to the flesh, to worries, and etc., to seek and to save that which was lost.
Yes, theirs spirits will be crying like Paul the apostle, saying;
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed — always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you. 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 NKJV
THIS SCRIPTURE CONTAINS THE HEART CRY OF PEOPLE GOD IS USING TO SEEK AND TO SAVE THAT WHICH WAS LOST.
It contains a resemblance of what goes on in the heart of genuine apostolic people, not false apostolic houses and people. One of the major deaths that these precious sons of God are dying, is in the area of their economy.
They are dying the death that is required to allow power break through them and plug them to God’s supply chain. The vision is to use the entire economic resources God place in their hands to snatch as many souls as possible from hell, especially the souls in churches, including that of some hell bound preachers.
The devil is also fighting to make sure that his earthly troop has all the economic might they need to do the work of stopping these apostolic people of God, and spreading his eternally damnable influence over the souls of men even in the dying world.
There are even battles in the heavenlies that are preventing economic might from coming to these Kingdom force of Heaven on earth; these men and woman who are dying the death that is required, for the salvation, sanctification, and transfiguration of lost souls in sick church, and in the world these end times.
That is why I want to talk to those of us who have made up our minds to die every necessary economic death to finance God’s end time redemption plans for mankind!
To start with, I want us to understand that, we live in a season where money will never come in God’s way, until a heavenly portal open over our lives. Provision for God’s people has always been through the opening of Heavenly portals.
When Heavenly portals open over our lives, God’s glory penetrates into our realm to supply our needs according to His riches in glory. It is therefore very important that we know how to position ourselves under God, for His portals to be opened over us, either for a life time or from generation to generation.
Now, how do we live under the portal of Heaven for a life time?
How do we live under these portals that guarantee supernatural release of finances? The answer is simple! When we unplug our souls from the influences of the spirit of hell, and plug it to the power and influence of the glory of God, it will happen.
AND THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO DO THAT.
The first is to live each day on earth, working out our salvation with fear and trembling. To work out our salvation is to live out what happened in your human spirit the day you got saved. It is to practice, demonstrate, and exhibit the salvation which you have in Christ with a worshipful respect for God and His presence.
When you do that, the portals of Heaven will be opened over you.
There are so many Bible ways we can live, to achieve the vision of working out our salvation with fear and trembling, and living our days under Heavenly portals. One of it is living our days meditating on God’s word. That was the standard our Bible fathers in the Old and New Testaments upheld.
To uphold this standard, the ones in the New Testament said, “they will give themselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
One way you give yourself to prayer and to the ministry of the word is by meditation. You meditate on the word and pray according to what you have found in the word. This kind of spiritual life, if sustained over time, can open Heavenly portals over you, and keep your financial life blossoming.
To meditate in God’s word is to mutter, mumble or whisper God’s word to yourself until it impacts your being. The Prosperity of the righteous is Heavily influenced by the word of God he mutters to himself or meditate on, on a daily basis. You see that in the book of Joshua chapter one verse eight.
That is a powerful way of keeping our souls away from the influences of the dark world around us, and opening them up to break into the world of God’s glory, where Heavenly portals exist.
The psalmist explains it this way;
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.”
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV
I ADMONISH YOU TO GO OVER THIS SCRIPTURE AGAIN, AND CATCH THE FLAMES OF FAITH BURIED IN IT.
The scripture teaches that when we embrace the royal devotional habit of separating ourselves from the counsel of the ungodly, the paths of sinners and the sits of the scornful, and press into a life of meditating in God’s word, we will break into a realm where God’s Heavenly portals will open over us.
That is when we will be like trees planted by the river of waters. At that point, whatever we do will prosper. The power of God’s glory will be bringing money to us, using the labor of our hands.
The next Bible way we can live our days under Heavenly portals, lies in what Jesus said in Matthew 16:18. He said, “On this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
If you read between the lines of this declaration, you will understand that we are in a constant battle with the gates or spirit of hell. Don’t forget the dichotomies of hell; first of all, hell is a place, hell is also a spirit. And hell can be a situation or a person.
The Bible says the wicked will be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God. You cannot live a life that forgets God and not be turned into hell. You can not live a godless marital life and not have your marriage turned into hell. You cannot live a godless Christian life and not have it turned into hell.
Our devotional text made it clear that lack of the experiential knowledge of God is the reason people are not living under Heavenly portals; it is the reason they sinking into hell as it enlarges itself, and the reason they are turned into hell.
The experiential knowledge of God comes through personal time with God’s word and sitting under apostolic and prophetic ministries, where we can find the true knowledge of God’s glory and the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Apostolic and prophetic ministries hold the rock of revelation for building the saints into temples for God in the Spirit.
They are the building tools of Jesus Christ in the Church today. That is why you see the Evangelist giving way to Apostles in Acts 8 after getting the people saved!
BUT TODAY WE NO LONGER DO THAT BECAUSE OF GREED FOR GAIN AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.
People who cannot even build their own lives now have congregations under them, calling them pastors and taking on heavy titles to satisfy their egos. These breeds usually get Heaven screaming, “I have not sent these prophets yet they ran. I have not spoken to them yet they are prophesying” (Jeremiah 23:21).
They are the devil’s material for building the false Church.
The church is facing an Ichabod situation today because of them. The true word of the LORD has become very rare. Most people now eat dead spiritual things, and others stolen revelation calling them “powerful.”
There is a lot of self-help gospels and inspirational preaching on the lips of many preachers. Teachings that circumcise hearts are rare and not accepted by the majority. All these things are not helping lives in human’s battle against hell.
Friend, the time has come to begin to look for teachings that will circumcise your heart to have an experiential knowledge of God on daily bases. Stop going after the popular and go after the truth that sets free and positions our lives under Heavenly portals.
Stop listening to preachers who steal messages from others to preach. Do not forget, what your spirit is feeding on will eventually feed on you. If you feed your spirit with messages preached from stolen waters, you will never come into the prosperity of the righteous. You will have the prosperity of the wicked.
The Bible says stolen waters are sweet but they will not produce a sweet life at the end. Specifically, it says;
“Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.” Proverbs 9:17-18 KJV
That is the word of the LORD for us today!!
