THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2024)

“Arise, O Lord, in your anger; lift up yourself against the rage of my enemies; and awake [and stir up] for me the justice and vindication [that] You have commanded.” Psalm 7:6 AMP

WELCOME TO THE 322ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.

We thank the LORD for keeping us for 322 days and for bringing us to the first day of another week. It is out of His mercies that we are not consumed, for His compassion fails not.

One way He demonstrates His mercies in the life of a person is by speaking to the person, another is by teaching the person, and another by sanctifying the person with His grace and truth.

It’s been from one form of truth to another on this platform, and we give God the glory. Truths purifies, and His is purifying us by His word hence the release of truth. The Vision is to present us to Himself, a glorious Church, without spot and wrinkle, holy and without blemish.

We cannot be holy and without blemish without the seeding of His grace, truth and mercies into our lives. A combination of the three is what helps in actualizing His divine vision of making us part of His glorious church.

Talking about the seeding of God’s Grace and Mercy into the life of a person, it is important to note that, the two are usually seeded into the life of a man, along with truth, to enable the man do truth.

They are also seeded to enable him escape judgment.

It is paramount to note that if there was no showing of mercy, they would have been no soul in Heaven. The thief on the Cross escaped eternal judgment and condemnation because God’s MERCY spoke for him when he repented and requested for it.

It does not matter what we might have done, if only we can ask the LORD for mercy in repentance, things will be fine.

So many people are still on their crosses, and on their way to eternal damnation, because they do not know how to do what that criminal did, in his last moments on earth. We must all understand that whenever a man cries unto God for mercy in sincerity and truth, mercy will speak for him; and when Mercy speaks, he will escape something he deserves.

Yes, he will escape something unpleasant that is either eternal or in time. Sometimes He will escape the evil activities of the enemy. It is the utterance of divine mercy that delivers us from the penalty of sin, and strips our enemies of their power over us and neutralizes their evil works in our lives.

TODAY GOD’S MERCY WANTS TO SPEAK FOR SOMEONE. THE LORD WANTS TO SPEAK TO US ON DIVINE VINDICATION.

I hope we are ready! It’s been quiet some time now since we look at matters of divine vindication on this platform. It is my prayer that this word blesses us.

To start with, it is important to note that, in a world that is full of false accusations, hate, and wickedness, divine Vindication is a necessity of life, especially the life of the justified. To be vindicated means to be “set free from allegation or blame.”

It means to be prevented from attack, the execution of an evil sentence, or punishment for perceived wrong doing, by providing justification and defense for someone. Someone reading this devotional today needs God to provide justification and defense for him or her very urgently.

Sometimes life has a way of throwing things at us that make people blame us for things we never did – things that comes with false evidence that inspire everyone to blame and condemn us.

Satan knows how to cook up “false evidence” and make them appear real in the eyes of public opinion. He knows how to nail the righteous with such things. That is why we need divine vindication!

Have you ever said something true even with tears, and everyone including those you thought know better or should believe you, refused to believe you? Has someone ever lied against you so perfectly that you could not defend yourself? The only thing you could do was to walk away or cry, cry, and cry?

You need divine vindication!

Has God ever told you something and everyone doubted it, calling you all sorts of unprintable names, saying you made it up? You need divine vindication! Have you ever been ill-treated and maltreated for something that was true that people thought was not true? You need divine vindication!

DIVINE VINDICATION IS GOD ALLOWING TIME TO TELL WHAT YOUR MOUTH COULD NOT TELL.

It is God using time to show everyone that you were right, or make them apologize or become ashamed of how they treated you when they never believed what you said which they now see as true. It is God making people believe what your mouth said but their ears refused to believe when you first said it.

Yes, divine vindication is God speaking for you after a season of being ill-treated and maltreated, for something He alone knows you never did, or something He alone knew you were right about.

It is GOD saying to all who made you suffer for a thing you did not do, “He was right” or “She was right.” It is God making time your witness. God vindicates! Yes, He does!!

I have suffered so many things in life unjustly that only a divine vindication saw me through. Sometimes our mouths are too small to convince people that we are innocent, or right in what we are saying. But God has a way of doing it in His time. I believe that time for someone has come.

To be divinely vindicated is the sweetest thing that may ever happen to you.

I have come to discover that there is what can be called “Divine settlement” in Christ Jesus. Instead of being vindictive for suffering unjustly, it is sweeter for a Child of God to wait for his or her vindication.

I sense in my spirit that someone’s vindication has come.

I trust the LORD sent this word this morning to tell someone who was disbelieved and ill-treated for either marrying someone He knows was God’s will, leaving a Church in God’s will, doing a thing right that everyone thought was wrong, or even bringing a word of prophecy that everyone doubted, that your days of vindication has come.

Someone who was cheated but lacked what it takes to tell the whole world he or she was cheated, someone who did not steal anything but men lied against him or her and made him or her look like a thief, your days of vindication has come.

Someone with a divine call that everyone thought was a falsified call, your days of vindication has come. Someone who said a thing that no one believed, your days of vindication have come.

If you have ever being raped, beaten, insulted, abused, robbed, bruised, cheated, and made to suffer unjustly by people you have no power over; even to the point of making everyone feel you deserve it, God sent this word to tell you, “Your days of vindication has come”.

HEAVEN WANTS TO CARRY OUT A REVENGE FOR YOU!

To be divinely vindicated simply means to be avenged for and delivered from by God. It means to be free from allegation by God.

When Heaven provides or makes justification and defense for you, you have been divinely vindicated. When God move to confirm a thing about you, your family, ministry or walk with Him, you have been divinely vindicated.

As you pass through this season of life, a season that might take the next seven, ten, or twelve years of your life on earth, get set for “Vindication Blessings.”

You might not have known things like that exist in God, but vindication blessings are blessings God releases to tell everyone that you were treated unjustly. They are Blessings God releases as a defense for you.

Understand that they are unique blessings, because they are usually released to show you were right, wrongly treated, or unjustly sentenced. Get set for this dimension of God!
The Bible says,

“He will make your vindication shine forth like light, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.” Psalm 37:6 CJB

When Joseph was thrown into prison for what he never did, his vindication came after two years, and those who accused him became his subject. He had so many to forgive – not just his brothers.

If he were not merciful, Potiphar’s wife and Potiphar himself would have been in for it. The blessing of divine vindication has a way of making you a master over your accusers. It is usually bigger than what your mouth can describe, because it has a way of silencing accusing or opposing voices.

Jesus as man, came doing good and healing all that was oppressed of the devil, yet the religious sects of His day hated him.

ONE DAY THEY CONSPIRED AND KILLED HIM. IT APPEARED AS IF THEY WERE RIGHT.

It looked like He was no Son of God as He claimed. Everyone believed the lie his death established. Before He died, two criminals were nailed by His sides to make Him look like a criminal. They gave Him companions of darkness to make His reputation dark.

Satan knows how to make people lie about you. He knows how to make people persecute you for things you never did. One of the criminals even demanded that if He was the son of God, He should prove it by saving Himself and them.

Finally, He died and was taken to the grave. His disciples all ran and hid themselves.

It appeared His ministry was over and His works finally erased. The great prophet who was going about saving others could not save Himself because He was no prophet but a scam, many thoughts. But they never knew a third day was coming. On the third day, GOD Vindicated Him.

Sometimes when God wants to vindicate you, He will wait and allow the enemy to do His worst. Then send a resurrection that will make them speechless!

For Jesus as man, He waited for three days but when it finally came, the blessing was so strong that it erased all the lies that His death made people to believe about Him. It’s your turn to be vindicated!
Your life may be covered with lies people believed about you.

Maybe you have been serving GOD silently but people take you for being a religious dog.

Maybe your faith in Christ and desire to do truth has earned you some knocks and forms of shame and reproach. God want to do something in your life that will erase all the knocks, shame and lies, and give you a clean slate so you can do His will.

Don’t bother to explain yourself to anyone any longer. Let divine vindication Explain it to people. The explanation of divine vindication will be much stronger than the one you can give.
Divine vindication is an eliminator of damaging lies.

What your mouth cannot eliminate, God’s vindication has a way of eliminating. That is why the Bible admonished the righteous, Bible book after Bible book, to learn to wait for God’s vindication.

For those who have waited, from this day forward, you will begin to see it made manifest. This is a prophetic word, not just a devotional teaching. Treat it that way, and let God change things for your good.

AMEN AND AMEN!

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!

“Judge and vindicate me, O Lord my God, according to Your righteousness (Your rightness and justice); and let [my foes] not rejoice over me!

Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, that is what we wanted! Let them not say, We have swallowed him up and utterly destroyed him.

Let them be put to shame and confusion together who rejoice at my calamity! Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify and exalt themselves over me!

Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

And my tongue shall talk of Your righteousness, rightness, and justice, and of [my reasons for] Your praise all the day long.” Psalms 35:24-28 AMPC
