TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Wednesday 20th January 2021)
“To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding, to receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion — a wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,” Proverbs 1:2-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 20th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS
Welcome to another time of refreshing. The best way the LORD refreshes our souls is to speak to us, that is why it pays to hear.
A wise man will hear and Increase knowledge. The purpose of hearing is to increase in wisdom and improve our lives. That is why any hearing that is not increasing our wisdom bank and helping us to improve our lives by God’s definition is not good for us.
We thank God for helping us to increase our wisdom and make better decisions through these devotionals.
Today, as the world begin another journey to establish more darkness over the souls of men and bring abominations to the places of higher human authority ONCE MORE, it’s important that we bend our ears closer to the LORD and allow Him to manifest in our hearts as the LIGHT of the world more than before.
In times like these, the prophecies of Isaiah come to mind.
He said,
“For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you” (Isaiah 60:2 NKJV).
These are not just days of another display of darkness, these are days of another display of a fresh level of gross darkness.
It will be vicious and destructive to the righteous standards of the LORD!
Except the LORD leave Himself a remnant, by the time the season will be over, there would be so much damage; only those who understand the righteous will and ways of God for the redemption of a perishing world will understand me. Yes, it will be a time of gross darkness rising upon the souls of men, but the glory of the LORD will rise upon us.
That tells me the days of gross darkness are also days of great glory from the LORD. Those who tremble at the word of the LORD need to look out for God’s glory at this time. Looking out for God’s glory calls for a dying. Paul said “I die daily” that was why he carried the glory of the LORD all through his days.
These are days of carrying fresh levels of glory to withstand the fresh level of darkness the world is being ushered into. Kings and political leaders are doors to certain realms of darkness or light. Meaning, they have capacities to either activate, spread or outsource the works of darkness or the works of light from the invisible realm to the visible realm.
YOU SEE THAT IN THEIR POLICIES, APPOINTMENTS, EXECUTIVE ORDERS AND ETC.
Once they get enthroned or inaugurated, they begin to spew the spirit of what they represent to the whole land under their influence. The next years will be season of fresh level of gross darkness, but we will see sudden moves of GOD; sovereign moves to protect His agenda from being neutralized.
The Church was not ready for what came today. If it was, today will not have being the way it is now. Now that it has come, what we need to do is to go back to the school of the Spirit to learn where we missed it, and look forward to taking faith positions that will allow the glory of the LORD to rise upon us, because that is our destiny in days of gross darkness.
One of the major things that weakened us is the kind of revelation knowledge being taught in local assemblies. There is no gospel of the kingdom, hence making it impossible for us to extend the frontiers of the kingdom for the purpose of upholding standards of righteousness where necessary.
For instance, most of us in Church know more about the names of evil spirits than the names of our GOD. We know more of the depths of Satan that the depths of our God. That’s is why what ought to be the church do not have a strong global influence over the evil ones.
Jesus said in the book of Revelation that He will give power over the nations to those who do not have the depths of Satan. That alone explains why we usually loose to the sons of the evil one.
He also said, He will remove burdens from those who do not have the depths of Satan. Meaning those who do will never be free from burdens. That explains why we are not usually free from burdens. God does not want the depths of Satan in us, He wants His Depths to be in us.
We do not know how much of His jealousy we stir each time we get ourselves filled with the depths of Satan. He said in His word;
“I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.” Isaiah 42:8 NKJV
God will not share the glory of being known with any other being. That is why Jesus does not take away the burdens of those who are being schooled in the depths of Satan and all his evil workers. The Bible says we should not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. That was not a call to go searching for His depths and having them in us.
THAT WAS A CALL TO KNOW HIS GOVERNMENTAL STRATEGIES.
Sadly, we know so much of his depths but know nothing of his governmental strategies to take over the world while we are still here. We know about evil altars, evil foundations, monitoring spirits and all fathom demons but do not know Satan’s governmental strategies to take over our hearts and our governments and establish his kingdom everywhere like Jesus will do in the future.
Though Bible prophecies says it will never happen, it’s just that it has a way of further establishing gross darkness over the hearts of men. Our consolation remains in what Bible prophecy says about this moment called the hour of darkness in Biblical parlance. If the Church do not wake up after these events, then we are doomed.
Though I do not see the Church as we know it waking up. God will just have to raise fresh Hazeals, Jehus and Elishas to deal with this rising Baals of our age and time. This young generation must be schooled in the depths of God and must know the governmental strategies of the evil one.
In the spirit realm, the presence of the being whose depths you have will cover your life. If you have that of Satan, his presence will cover your life. If you have that of God His presence will cover your life. Sadly, everyone in Church today either has that of God or that of the evil one. There is no middle ground. That is why when the enemy is advancing in his strategies, he always finds willing told in Church to use.
The formidable warriors of Satan are most times among us not outside us. They take the prominent places in local Churches and do the bidding of the evil one. You cannot believe that most of those who promote abominations on earth are not Muslims or Hindus, but so called Christians. What they fund and promote, is prohibited by law in Islamic countries.
Indeed, the most formidable warriors of Satan are in what you call Christianity! They are the ones bringing the presence of the Satan upon the human race. And don’t forget, the presence of Satan does three basic things; it kills, steals, and destroys, even when it appears to be helping.
THEY ATTRACT THE CORRECTIONAL JUDGMENT OF GOD UPON MEN.
The ride on the waves of strong delusions and hate the truth. They are trained to tell terrible lies in the voice and language of truth, using the formidable warriors of the evil one in what many call Christianity. Anyone who tries to expose and stop their evil work, they defame, vilify, and destroy with lies and terrible deceit using the corrupt global media.
But the Bible says,
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV
Let everyone who tremble at the word of the LORD stand by this proclamation. God saw all these before they spring forth and has a plan. We should start running after the knowledge of His glory like never before so that we can take proper faith positions that will allow His glory to rise upon us in this days of fresh levels of gross darkness.
In the Spirit realm, it is the knowledge of the Glory of the LORD that unleashes the moves of God into a man’s life. We need the knowledge of His glory for His glory to rise upon us. You may need to cut off from the secular news now, because it will not cease controlling the minds of men with fake news about those the LORD used in the last four years.
People who allow their minds to be controlled by the agents of the fresh darkness that is coming upon the earth, we never see the glory of God rising upon them. Like I said, it is our destiny to have the glory of God rise upon us in days like these (days of fresh levels of gross darkness). But we will never see that happen if we keep allowing the corrupt media to control our minds.
We must fill our minds with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD not the knowledge of what the media is saying. The days are too critical to follow the narrative of the secular media. The Bible made it clear that they that know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits. You will be weakened and made carnal knowing anything during these days of darkness, other than the knowledge of the glory of the LORD.
These are Days of sitting at the feet of Jesus like Mary did to be Instructed on Matters of the Glory. David said,
“Blessed is the man whom you instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked” (Psalms 94:12-13 NKJV).
Yes, after this darkness, there will be rest from.the days if adversity. But we need to be instructed.
Friend, I believe the message of today’s devotional has been passed. I pray that you pick every word shared and improve your walk and talk with God in Jesus precious name. AMEN!

Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village, and a woman named Martha received and welcomed Him into her house.
And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was listening to His teaching.
But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]!
But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; there is need of only one or but a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10:38-42 AMP
