TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2024)
“Listen to my plans for you, people of Babylonia…..” Jeremiah 50:45 CEV

WELCOME TO THE 249TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.
Blessed be the name of the LORD who has given us another day. Today we want to talk about the person of GOD. What an exciting thing to do. Yes, its exciting to talk about Him because the Bible teaches that He has been our dwelling place in all generations.
There are basic things every human should know about Him. Those things are all in His word, the Bible. I use capital letters for the first letter in the word “Bible” because it is the most useful book on earth. It is a book of books, not juts a book. It teaches us so much about God.
The first thing it teaches is this, “God is Spirit and He created our natural world.” He is invisible but created our visible world. That simply means the spiritual is the birthplace of the natural, you must know that and live your life that way.
Whatever you see naturally was created supernaturally from the spiritual realm. That is how the supernatural became responsible for the natural.
The supernatural, either good or bad, inject things into the natural world every second, altering things in people’s lives; making things grow or die, making families happy or sad, making business crumble or succeed, making ministries succeed and advance God’s purposes or diminish and fail completely, and etc.
All these proves that the supernatural is responsible for everything natural.
If we can see into the supernatural and allow ourselves to be controlled by God’s supernatural power, we will minimize or completely erase every evil the supernatural of the enemy pours on us.
It is important to understand that the reason the enemy attack us from the supernatural realm, is because it is master over the natural realm. The same reason is the reason why you must operate in the Holy Ghost.
IF YOU DO, YOU WILL OPERATE FROM THE REALM THAT IS MASTER OVER THE NATURAL REALM AND EVEN OVER THE ENEMY.
It is because of these dynamics that you must understand that before a man prevails against you naturally, he has been made to prevail against you supernaturally. Before a man die naturally, he has already been killed supernaturally.
Nothing takes place in the natural if it has not taken place in the supernatural. That is why the Bible admonishes us to sense the plans of God for our lives and live within them.
The plans of God contain things that have already happened supernaturally. If we align with them, we will begin to live lives that have already been finished in the realm of the Spirit of God, making our successes in life sure, and our failures temporal.
People who walk in divine plans cannot fail permanently in life. They may fall and be down in a season, but will never fail permanently.
The only time they fail permanently, is when they venture into anything that is not part of the plan of God for their lives. They might even succeed in it, but before God, they lived a failed life. It is this principle that helps us understand why people fail in marriages.
They step into marriages that are not God’s plans for their lives, and even run them in their own ways. In fact, even if you run a marriage that is not God’s plan in God’s way, it will still not stand. In most cases, it will ruin you.
You will never succeed in what has not been created in the realm of the Holy Spirit, if you try to do it in the natural realm. Life outside the plan of God is the reason for the woes of men. It is the reason the enemy succeeds over us, and the reason we wail and suffer.
Yes, life outside the plan of God is the reason we are sick and tired of what we may be doing, the reason we lack sufficient grace from God to keep growing stronger in the things we do. Life outside divine plans for a Child of God is like a fish outside water. It will die and get rot.
For instance, as earlier stated, any marriage outside divine plans will be full of headaches. It will die and get rot, living you with the corpse to be taking from man of God to man of God for resurrection.
BUT WHEN YOU ARE IN GOD’S PLANS, THERE WILL BE NO DEAD OR DECAY.
If there is any fall or failure, something supernatural will always happen to help you rise again, because what you are involved in has already been finished in the realm of the Spirit of God. This is not applicable to marriage alone, but to all other aspects of our lives.
Remember the life of Job in the Bible. His affliction was part of God’s plan for his promotion. He got double for all his trouble. That is why when you experience what may look like failure; suddenly you will see “God’s supernatural grace” moving to bring you out into a much better phase than what it was before the experience.
It is the righteous whose days are lived according to God’s plans that fall seven times and rises again, not any righteous man or woman out there. When bad things happen to good people, and ruin their lives without God intervening, it is because the good people are not living their days within God’s plan for their lives.
God’s plans are “events that has been taken from start to finish in the realm of the Spirit of God,” waiting to be made manifest in the natural. That is why the Bible teaches that the plans of God shall stand.
They will stand on earth and not fail because they have been taken from start to finish in the realm of the Spirit of God already. Under this principle, we can see that God’s plans has no capacity of a permanent failure.
If you do not want to live a life of shame, reproach and failed visions and ventures, you must live your days within God’s plans for your life.
Understand that all you need in this life, is in His plans for your life. His provisions for your life are in His plans for your life, not actually in the labour of your hands. The labour of your hands will only produce for you if you labour within God’s plans for your life.
Our devotional text says, “Listen to my plans for you.” If you live your days listening to God’s pans for your life instead of the gossips about you, your life will be beautiful. The LORD also spoke to us in that text saying, “I will guide you and teach you in the way you should go.”
It pays to listen to God’s plans for our lives. It pays to allow Him lead us into those plans. His plans are the way we should go, not our own ambitions, aspirations, visions, or goals.
PEOPLE WHO WALK IN DIVINE PLANS CANNOT FAIL BECAUSE, THEY ARE FOLLOWING PREDETERMINED AND PRE-ESTABLISHED THINGS.
They are following things that have been done and completed in the supernatural realm of God. Their response and obedience are what is simply bringing those things into the natural realm, to the amazement of others.
You may be in a cross road this morning. You may be in the dark this morning. The enemy may have attacked you yesterday and made you sleep in the pain of that attack. God sent this word to tell you to listen to His plans for your life and follow them meticulously. Cease listening to whatever may have happened yesterday. Start listening to God’s plans for your life.
That is where your recovery will come from. That is where your prosperity will flow from. That is where your deliverance is. That is where your expectations will turn into manifestation. But anything outside divine plan will not bring recovery, prosperity, or deliverance. It will turn your expectations into disappointment.
So, stop living your days with your ears backwards, listening to the voice of yesterday. Start living your days with your ears on God’s plans for your life. You will find a beautiful life after many days.
As we bring this to a close, understand that the human Life was not designed to be lived outside divine plans. Any life we live outside divine plans, is a bad investment. We must avoid that by all means. Sometime we are attracted to such a life by its outward appearance, how good it looks.
Sometimes, things happen to cloud our senses not to be able to recognize divine plans. Other times they happen to bring us out of them completely. I want you to understand that the plans of the LORD for your life may come in a package you do not like, but if you stick to them you will save yourself from things that will make you regret all your life.
Whatever we do not like in God’s plan for our life usually disappear within a very short time. That is what makes them good and perfect at the end. The vision will always speak at the end not the beginning.
I pray for you today that you cease living your life by what look good, and start sensing what is God’s plan and follow.
I pray that you recognize the manipulations of Satan to keep you in what is outside divine plan. I pray that you overcome the warfare that usually breaks out when men step into divine plan. I pray the LORD sharpen your senses to be able to recognize divine plans and follow them.
