TODAY’S DEVOTION (Monday 25th October 2021)
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.” Proverbs 4:23-24 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 298TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
Indeed, the Spirit of the LORD has made us, the breath of the almighty gives us life. That is the life that has kept us alive and thriving. To God be the glory. His life has been our light, filling our hearts with understanding.
What is life without a Heavenly understanding of things? That is why a constant teaching of the Holy Spirit is necessary for a peaceful life on earth.
God promised in His word saying;
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.” Psalm 32:7-8 NKJV
The world we leave in, is too dangerous not to be taught and guided by the LORD. We will never know the right way to go about the things of life until we are taught by the LORD.
Many of us follow the wrong ways and bring swift destruction to our lives.
The truth is, no matter how educated or exposed to knowledge we are, we will still be limited in life. A superior guide will be required to walk through the darkness of this world and come out well.
Man was not originally created to live in this world by his personal light or knowledge. He was created to live by a superior light; the light and knowledge of God. That is why people who allow the LORD to teach and guide them usually come out well in life.
They may not be rich according to the human definition of riches, but will have a lot of shalom in their lives – a lot of peace, wholeness, and prosperity to do God’s will and etc.
If we believers will allow the LORD to be teaching us on the way to go, and guiding us with His eye, we will be the most significant people on the face of the earth. We will see a lot of His glory rising upon us as gross darkness covers the earth day after day.
Prophetic promises will be fulfilled in our lives in their appointed seasons and our redemptive heritage made manifest for all to see.
The secret to a constant outbreak of blessings in the life of THE believer is the personal teaching and guide of the HOLY Spirit; leading him where to go and what not to do on daily bases.
SADLY, THAT IS WHAT SO MANY DO NOT HAVE!
So many have the voice of religion and confusion in them, confusing themselves and others, and saying God is leading them. That is why you cannot find the glory of the LORD making things happen in their lives. If they prosper at all, it will be by a season of engaging the flesh or sin to make things work.
You suffer a shortness of the glory in your life whenever you engage the flesh or sin to make things work. It’s just that you do not realize it. And that is because you are outside the realm of true prophetic realization.
If the personal teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit, and a constant guide of the eye of the LORD are the missing ingredients in your life, nothing else will make things work.
We must understand that there are aspects of our lives that any servant of God placed over us by the LORD will never know, or be able to provide guidance on. But the Spirit of God knows, and only him can provide a guide on. That is why you must learn to walk with Him personally.
You must have the heart that truly receive the personal teaching and guide of the LORD! You must not falsify it, else you come into ruin.
Many walk with a false spirit that look true, and follow a leading of the flesh, and few times the devil, that seems divine. You must not be part of that generation.
The truth is, if we are truly taught by the LORD, and guided by His eyes, our prosperity in life will no longer be a matter if but a matter of when. No force in the heavens, on earth or beneath the earth will be able to stop us. Because the Throne of the LORD will be powering our lives. That is why the Bible says;
“Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth.” Psalm 25:14-13 NKJV
DWELLING IN PROSPERITY IS A DIRECT CONSEQUENCE OF BEING PERSONALLY TAUGHT BY THE LORD NOT RAISING AN ALTAR OF SACRIFICE.
There are a lot of nonsense that the saints are taught to do by people the Bible calls greedy dogs that we call men and women of God today; a lot of things that gets them richer by the regular sacrifices they collect and the people poorer.
If the people had been told the truth, they would have rather invested those monies in thriving business and become richer but the greed of their preachers will not let that. They rather teach that dwelling in prosperity comes by giving large sums of money as sacrifice, and having their feet washed, head anointed, or body washed with water by the sea side.
They rather teach them humanistic philosophies or occult practices instead of the truth of God’s word. They make them give, and give, and give, seeing just few miracles; mostly by the demon of deliverance.
God’s word remains constant and unchangeable. It says if we want to dwell in prosperity we must fear the LORD, then allow Him to teach us in the way He chooses. It will not only make us dwell in prosperity, it will empower our descendants to inherit the earth.
Child of God, there are things we ought to know; things that if we do not know we will be ruined. This is just one of them! These are the things GOD designed that we know – things our souls are designed by God to accommodate. The mystery of being taught by the LORD is one of the critical things you must know and experience as a believer.
The Bible says the LORD teaches us by His Holy Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
The personal teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit is what a preacher should enable in your life. If your pastor is not training you on how to walk with the LORD personally and come out well in life, then you are in trouble. If he or she is teaching you to depend on oil, raising of altars, breaking, uprooting or silencing them, you are being scammed.
If he or she is teaching you to use water, salt, altars, feet washing, or attend a holy communion service, sow a seed or etc. to come out well in life, you are being deceived. These things do not come that way. Your wellness in life comes from the Throne of God through the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit.
OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT THIS MORNING SAYS;
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you.”
If your heart is filled with these extra scriptural practices, it will lead you to a false spirit you will take for the Holy Spirit.
The truth is, everyone believer whose heart is influenced or filled with extra scriptural practices and teachings like raising, uprooting, silencing or breaking of altars, redemption of first born, giving of first fruits, deliverance from spirit spouses, recovering of stolen stars and etc. – are walking in false spirits.
These false spirit presents itself to them as the Holy Spirit. That is why you find them comfortable with preachers who walk in a false spirit. The Bible says;
“If a man should walk in a false spirit and speak a lie, saying, ‘I will prophesy to you of wine and drink,’ Even he would be the prattler of this people” Micah 2:14 NKJV
The word prattler means preacher.
This scripture made it clear that preachers (Prophets, apostles, Bishops, pastors and prophetesses etc.) walking with a false spirit will be the spiritual authority of those whose hearts are filled or influenced by extra scriptural practices and doctrines. They will never be comfortable with preachers like Paul the apostle.
I have come to discover that all who speak ill of the truth of God’s word on our lips are either walking in a false spirit or offended at us – preachers and Church members alike.
Most are crafty and deceitful. Their preachers have hearts that are trained in covetous practices, and they are use to them, hence attacking us. The false spirit that they are walking in stirs them to put up a fight against us each the truth of God’s word proceed from our mouth.
What are we saying this morning?
The LORD want to be your instructor and teacher on ways you should God – I mean on a personal level.
God wants to guide you with His eye. He wants you to come into the prosperity of the righteous that can only come when we are govern by the fear of the LORD. But your heart must become pure enough to hear Him on a personal level.
Yes, it must be free from the influence of preachers who walk in a false spirit. That freedom can only happen with the heart is purified. The Bible says;
“Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,” 1 Peter 1:22-23 NKJV
We must purify our hearts and souls by obeying the truth of God’s word through the Spirit, not following the extra scriptural doctrines and practices paddled by preachers who walk in a false spirit.
Our hearts or spirits must be born of the incorruptible word not the corruptible – not adulterated preaching. Yes, not teachings induced by the flesh and the desire for money on the lips of so many preachers. If that did not happen, we will never come to the place of a pure personal teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Sound doctrine must form the truth we know, obey, and walk in, because it is the revelation that fills our hearts that determine who or what leads us from within.
You must understand that the personal teaching and guide of the Holy Spirit, that propels those who fear the LORD to a life that dwell in prosperity or the shalom of God, is only possible if our hearts have been purified with sound doctrines.
Finally, the night is far spent, the Day is at hand. We must purify our hearts and souls, and keep them purified, by obeying the truth of God’s word through the Spirit, not following the extra scriptural doctrines and practices paddled by preachers who walk in a false spirit.
I pray that God use these truths to improve your walk and talk with Him in Jesus precious name. AMEN!
