TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2022)
“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:15-20 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 299TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
The faithfulness of God is unquestionable.
His marvelous kindness is matchless. His love is indeed deeper than the oceans, higher than the skies, and wider that the galaxies. It is more beautiful than beauty itself.
We are here because He have been up there pouring all that upon our lives.
Words are sometimes too weak to convey God’s kindness and graciousness towards man. But all we can say this morning is may all the glory be His and His alone!
It has been a 31-day journey of faith looking at what the word says about the blessed Holy Spirit. Few but significant truths about this third person of the trinity have been shared.
We have said that His primary purpose of coming is to set our lives in order. Not just that, but to also make us gods of the Most High God Himself who is the monarch of the universe. Remember, He created man to worship Him, because it takes gods to offer true worship to God.
It may interest you to know that angels are offering GOD worship but there is a type of worship that only gods can offer, and that is the worship GOD craves for hence creating mankind to offer it.
Initially, He had created and placed an angel called Lucifer in an invisible earth to offer Him worship, but the creature decided to go against GOD’s will for His life by desiring, among other things, to be like the Most High.
God expelled Him from Heaven and created us to replace Him.
He created us in His image and likeness, leaving no room for us to cultivate similar desires again; meaning there will be no time when we will trespass by desiring to be like the Most High because we are already like Him in image and likeness (spirit nature and function).
Unlike Lucifer, who was just an angel, except influenced by his darkness, created gods will never desire to be worshiped, or to be like the Most High God. They will occupy their place as gods who are lesser than Elohim (GOD) to promote the cause of Elohim (GOD) on the face of the earth.
THERE IS A LESSON ABOUT THIS IN WHAT THE PSALMIST SAID TO GOD WHEN GLORIFYING HIM THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO.
The Psalmist said;
“Look at the splendor of your skies, your creative genius glowing in the heavens.
When I gaze at your moon and your stars, mounted like jewels in their settings, I know you are the fascinating artist who fashioned it all! But I have to ask this question:
Why would you bother with puny, mortal man or care about human beings?
Yet what honor you have given to men, created only a little lower than Elohim, crowned with glory and magnificence.
You have delegated to them rulership over all you have made, with everything under their authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers” Psalm 8:3-6 TPT
From these words of the Psalmist, we can draw some truths about who we were, originally. We can glean certain truths about us. First of all, we can see that we were not created sinners, or weak mortals struggling with death, disease, poverty, and all that. We were not created as mere men either. Sin made us all tha, and Jesus came to cure all that.
We were originally created to be a little lower than Elohim Himself.
In Hebrew, Elohim is the plural name for God. In the word Elohim, is the Revelation of the Godhead. It is in that name we knew there are three Persons in one God. It is in the name we knew God as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible says we were created a little lower than that. Hallelujah!
Secondly, the Garden of Eden was given to us as our operational base station on earth. It is from there we were to exercise delegated rulership that this great God gave to His little gods, mankind.
So, mankind was made a little lower than GOD Himself, and Higher than any other created being or things, angels inclusive. The primary purpose is to offer GOD worship by exercising rulership over creation under His command as the Godhead.
Friends, God gave us delegated rulership over all He made, and put everything under our authority, placing the earth itself under our feet. What a responsibility.
HE WAS THAT CONFIDENT BECAUSE WE WERE HIS IMAGE BEARERS.
Sadly, we lost all that Image bearer status at the fall, and also the control of everything. We lost the controls to the fallen angel Lucifer and his host because we, in Adam, ate the fruit of tree planted for us not against us. The act is called the original sin. We lost all that to the original sin.
But the coming of Jesus Christ, as the lamb that takes away the sin of the world, took care of all that and restored us back prophetically to our original positions. Now, what is left is our practical restoration, which was why God the Holy Spirit was sent to earth.
I want to submit to you that the Holy Spirit is the most important person on earth today. Ignore Him at your own peril. He is here to build from where Jesus stopped and restore to us, practically, what have been restored to us prophetically.
He is to restore back to us our original settings, as humans who are a little lower than Elohim, and re install all the vital components that we lost at the fall. His mission is to make us Image bearers of Elohim again, exercising delegated rulership over all He made.
Child of GOD, i reiterate again that the Holy Spirit is the most important person on earth today. You may have relationship with the kings and queens of the earth, if you do not have relationship with Him, it is nothing but vanity.
He remains the live wire of the Christian faith and the executive powers of the Godhead. Without Him, there can be no salvation. He convicts people of sin, judgments and righteousness and brings them to the place of repentance.
He restores back our settings to be a little lower than Elohim and vital components to be gods of the Most High GOD.The settings are restored as we sit with Him and His Bible truths, absorbing them to live the Christian life while the vital components are restored through the impartation or installation of His gifts.
There are nine gifts of the Spirit categorized into three sets of three each.
The first three was what we say yesterday; the gift of the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom and discernment of spirits. Those are powerful gifts of the Holy Spirit with capacity to restore back our minds to the less-than-Elohim mind dimension.
That was the dimension Adam had, which he used in naming the animals in the Garden of Eden. It was a dimension that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was planted in the garden to help him boost at an appointed time, when the judgment of the fallen angels will be executed.
OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS;

Adam was so GOD-like that all the names he gave to the created things GOD made stood. Today we call them same names he called them then using our different languages.
The names stood because as one who was a little lower than Elohim, he knew what was in the mind of Elohim and called in on earth as written on His mind.
He knew what was in the depths of God, which can also be possible today when the Spirit of God impart into our spirits the first set of the spiritual components called the revelatory gifts of the Spirit (the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, and discerning of spirits).
The Bible made it clear that when we are able to come into this dimension, we will not just be GOD-like in reasoning, but we will be so aligned that we can decree a thing and it shall be established.
Our prayers will no longer go unanswered.
FRIEND, YOU WILL LEAD A VERY BEAUTIFUL LIFE IF YOUR PRAYERS NO LONGER GO UNANSWERED.
You will lead a very beautiful life if you can access things that have been decreed in the mind of Elohim and decree them on earth. You will begin to lead a very beautiful life and no longer wait for anyone to pray for you, or help you out of anything if you become the god the Almighty God created you to be.
Yes, there are no words that can describe how glorious your life will become if you step back to your original state as a human who is less then Elohim.
I believe enough have been shared for the day. It is my prayer that we all live Christian lives that are forever yielded to the Holy Spirit, so that our original settings can be restored and the vital spiritual components we need to be a little lower than Elohim can be installed into our spirits.
When that happens, our lives will change radically. The glories of Heaven will become so visible in them like revealed in Isaiah chapter 60.
Economically, gold will no longer be our greatest pursuit in life. God will be our greatest pursuit, bringing us into a realm where money will be the one running after us. And the least we will be able to do in that realm, will be to decree a thing and have it established.

“Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.
Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.
Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.
Yes, the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver; For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God.
You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, and you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:21-28 NKJV
