THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 12TH NOVEMBER 2022)

“And if I drive out the demons by [help of] Beelzebub, by whose [help] do your sons drive them out? For this reason they shall be your judges.

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you [before you expected it].

Or how can a person go into a strong man’s house and carry off his goods (the entire equipment of his house) without first binding the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.” Matthew 12:27-289 AMPC

WELCOME TO THE 316TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE!

God is faithful, day after day He has proven to be a very present help in time of trouble. That is why we have seen this day. This is the day His mercies and compassion has made for us, so we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

We have been looking at things that will never happen in our lives if we are not walking in practical wisdom. It is the 12 day of our 30-day journey of faith on practical wisdom.

A lot have been shared already by the LORD. We believe there is much more coming from His Holy Spirit to us.

The Bible made it clear that through wisdom is a house built. The word house there means life. If there is no wisdom in your heart, there is no way that you will be able to have your life built, especially according to divine pattern. And there is no way that you can lead a blissful life on the face of the earth.

There is a lot about our lives that depends on what is in our heads. That was why the Holy Spirit sat upon the heads of the disciples when He came.

We have learned from the LORD that there are things that will never happen to us, even if He wants them to happen to us, if we do not walk in practical wisdom. The first is honor. The Bible said honor is not fitting for a fool. The second is the manifestation of the spiritual blessings that exist in the heavenly places in our lives, and the third is deliverance that has divine preservation in it.

We began the journey on the third yesterday.

Yes, there are type of deliverances in the Bible, only one has divine preservation in it and it will never come if we do not walk in practical wisdom. But before we go into that, let us refresh our minds a bit on the manifestation of finished things in the heavenlies that the Bible calls “spiritual blessings in the Heavenly places” in our lives.

You see, no one was created poor by the LORD. And sometimes if you are facing economic hardship, it is not deliverance you need. Economic hardship is just a sign that you have not yet caused to manifest in your life the spiritual blessings God has prepared for you in Christ Jesus in the Heavenly places.

ANY TIME THOSE BLESSINGS MANIFEST, ECONOMIC HARDSHIP WILL FLEE AWAY.

In the light of the spiritual blessings God has prepared for us in the Heavenly places, anyone people call poor is simply a life that is empty of the manifestation of the spiritual blessings in the Heavenly places. Practical wisdom is one major force that will help that life turn the tide.

It will help those facing economic hardship to assemble in their lives that which has been finished in heaven concerning them. That is why we said without it, it will be impossible to assemble in your life what God has finished in Heaven concerning you.

I believe this few lines we have shared will be of great help to someone.

Now, as earlier stated, the next thing that will never happen until we walk in practical wisdom is a deliverance that has divine preservation in it.

There is a deliverance that lack divine preservation and there is a deliverance that has divine preservation in it. Yesterday we saw some truths about this. We also saw the reality of opening our lives up to worms that comes from hell to eat the spiritual flavors God has blessed us with, especially marital flavors.

God wants us delivered from all that, but He designed a deliverance that has divine preservation in it for us. The Bible says;

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began,

That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,” Luke 1:66-71 NKJV

The phrase “horn of salvation” means horn of deliverance.

The scripture can be read as “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people, and has raised up a horn of DELIVERANCE for us in the house of His servant David, as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets, Who have been since the world began, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us,”

This was a prophecy that concerned the ministry of John the Baptist who was sent to prepare the way of the LORD.

THE HORN OF SALVATION OR DELIVERANCE THERE IS JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

The word horn means strength. Because God wants us saved, delivered, and then preserved from our enemies, He manifested as Christ, the strength of that deliverance. That is why you will never have that type until you walk in a practical the wisdom that can only be found in Christ, who is the wisdom and power of GOD.

Sadly, most of what people call deliverance today is deceit. It is full of relieve but no true liberation. It has a lot of demonic origin because of the existence of the demon of deliverance.

If you look at things in the light of the scriptures, you will realize that a lot of prophets and prophetess have really distorted the view of people on matters of deliverance.

Many people now think deliverance is having water poured on you by a prophet, or oil smeared on your head, or unholy holy communion served to you, or going to a special mountain for prayers, and all that.

Others think deliverance is when you see a preacher talking to a demon that may be living in someone, or doing some other supernatural things. Some have taken it to be a season of fasting and prayer to be free from a particular problem. But Jesus made it clear that Deliverance is not even casting out demons.

You may not agree with that but wait a minute. If it was just casting out a demon then GOD would not have disapproved the deliverance process of the evil one.

In GOD’s order, deliverance is making people temples for God in the Spirit. It is not casting out demons, but making sure demons do not get back to people’s lives after being casted out. So, if we take just casting out demons as deliverance, we are ignorant.

YOU ARE NOT DELIVERED UNTIL WHAT YOU ARE DELIVERED FROM CANNOT RETURN BACK TO YOU AGAIN.

Until the captives are brought to the realm where the problems do not return again, whatever they may have experienced is not deliverance but deceit. Jesus made it clear that just casting out demons is not a guarantee that they will not return, and deliverance is not deliverance until the demons cannot not return.

He spoke saying;

“But when the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, it roams through dry [arid] places in search of rest, but it does not find any.

Then it says, I will go back to my house from which I came out. And when it arrives, it finds the place unoccupied, swept, put in order, and decorated.

Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So also, shall it be with this wicked generation.” Matthew 12:43-45 AMPC

The kind of deliverance Jesus described in this verse was the kind He met on ground. It is the kind we even see today in the deliverance ministries of many. If you know what the word deliverance means, you will know that until the problem or demon cannot return, you are not yet delivered.

I reiterate again that the kind of deliverance we see in Churches todays is exactly the very type Jesus described in Matthew 12:43-45. He said that is the kind that a wicked and perverse generation will always get because they refuse to walk in truth.

Child of God, if you are perverse in any way, you will not lack demons in your life, prayer or no prayer. If there is any form of pervasion in your life, it will become a door way for the demons to come dwell and even attack you. That is why the deliverance system of God is different.

It is not like what we see today. What we see today is mostly that of the devil, using the demon of deliverance. It leads people to pray, scream, have water used on them, oil administered to them, or sacrifices demanded from them, altars raised by them, or shouts coming out of them until people become deaf, so to speak.

UNLIKE THAT OF THE DEVIL, THAT OF GOD IS QUIET AND THROUGH A SILENT KINGDOM INVASION.

It comes through alignment with the word of truth and righteousness. It will first focus on taking away your perverse ways by bringing sanctified knowledge to you. Then pouring a Heavenly grace upon your life to beautify it. You will not even know when the devil has left with all his problems.

Yes, the kind of deliverance the One and only True God brings is not the very one you see today, but a deliverance with divine preservation. It begins with an invasion of God’s kingdom into the souls and spirits of men, and ends with a walk-in practical wisdom. That was the kind Jesus brought.

That was why, as our devotional text presented, Jesus said to the terrible Pharisees;

Any deliverance with divine preservation will bind the strong man. It is not the pastor that will bind the strongman but the man of war Himself. He will neutralize the strongman and make sure nothing about him returns into the life of his captive again. But that of the devil jokes with the strongman because it is all a game and a drama.

The ultimate pattern for the deliverance that comes with divine preservation is discipleship.

It could begin with prayer but will always end in discipling the person to become a temple for God in the Spirit. Because the captive will need practical wisdom from the LORD to find and live in the realm where the devils or his problems do not return again.

I believe the LORD has spoken to us this morning. May our lives reflect the visions of the Father for sending these words to us. Amen!

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY!

“And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God.

But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.” Acts 19:8-10 NKJV
