“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless, we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:10-13 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 142ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
Blessed be the name of the LORD who made it possible for us to see another great day today. It’s been a season of schooling in the things of GOD. The schooling is necessary because the many things that have been happening on planet earth are enough to fill any soul with the fires of hell.
The primary essence of the schooling is to give guard our hearts with Heavenly wisdom and ways of doing things so that our souls will not be filled with the fires of hell that are spreading today through the media and all that is happening.
When a soul is filled with the fire of hell, a man will begin to align with iniquity and depart from righteousness. Yes, they will begin to operate in lawlessness and wickedness. Hating God and all that relates with Jesus Christ will become possible. Fighting genuine messages from God and messengers Heaven may be using to transform morals landscapes will be seen as a purpose that must be fulfilled.
The person will be contending with those who contend with the wicked and defending those who promote immorality and all kinds of vices.
You will always find souls filled with the fires of hell walking in lust, hate for what is good and love for what is not good in God’s sight, pride, bitterness, un-forgiveness, and strife.
You find them vowing to take vengeance on people who did one thing or the other to them, or even nothing, while the Bible says vengeance belongs to God. You find them destroying other people’s lives through marriages, business partnership, politics, and even churches.
Yes, churches!
You find them walking in hyper spiritual deception, planting churches and opening prayer shrines, prophetic or deliverance centers to ruin the eternal lives of people. You find them turning the church into a political party, social club, money making machine and all that to do the same.
The Bible says in a season when people are filled with the fires of hell, certain Bible prophecies are usually fulfilled.
JESUS OUTLINED SOME OF THEM WHEN HE SAID,
….. “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:4-10 NKJV
In seasons when people are filled with the fires of hell, there are sorrows.
Meaning as we get to the end, there will be so many of such seasons, leading to what the Bible calls the beginning of sorrows. There will be many seasons on earth where more souls will be filled with the spirit of hell than with the holy spirit.
In other words, you will find more people filled with the fires of hell than with the fires of the Holy Spirit in so many nations, during those seasons. Expressing itself in their politics, religion, education, finances, entertainment, government, military and etc.
This will lead to terrorism, hyper deception, wars and rumors of wars, nation or tribe rising against nations or tribes, kingdom or common groupings rising against others, famines, pestilence, and etc.
From this scripture is clear that in a season where the souls of more men are filled with hell, major Bible prophecies are fulfilled. People blasphemy against God, and even curse Him and his servants.
Friend, the Bible made it clear that after the rapture there will be the crescendo of that season, because so many souls will be filled with the spirit of hell since we will be out of here with the Spirit of God. The event will then usher in what Bible prophecy calls “the day of the Lord”

SADLY, IN SEASONS LIKE THESE, MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE ALSO FILED WITH THE FIRES OF HELL.
That is why, for us at the Cry of the Spirit Ministries, God is guarding our hearts or spirits with His Holy Fire, from His Holy Word, through the deep teachings we are receiving. I believe He is doing the same for others elsewhere.
When you read the Bible saying, “do no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness or yoke with unbelievers,” it is to protect us from being filled with the fires of hell.
You must understand that as God is going about Baptizing and filing His own people with His Holy fire from his Holy Spirit and His Holy Words (using His Holy servants), so also is the devil going about baptizing and filling people with the spirits and fires of hell using false prophets, prophetesses and all kinds of perilous people he can find.
We must be careful of those the enemy is using and those has already baptized. We must seek the rescue of those he has already filed, by praying for them, but not be yoked together or fellowship with those he may be using to fill others with such fires. If we do, it will be a partnership or fellowship with the spirit of hell by stealth.
If you look at the spiritual landscape, you will realize that so many believers have quenched their holy fires and fallen from God’s true grace because of this. Can you imagine getting married to someone being used to fill souls with the spirit or fires of hell? Your marital life will be hell on earth.
Can you imagine being a pastor over people being used to fill others with the fire of hell and refusing to embrace the fire of GOD? They will fill the ministry with trouble. That is why few true churches do find themselves in trouble sometimes. But always come to their rescue.
Can you imagine being led by political leaders filled with the fires of hell? They will unleash hell upon the nation like what is happening in Nigeria as we speak. The Bible says when such people rules, the people mourn. When they die the people rejoice.
Just yesterday our chief of army staff died in an air crash, and people were rejoicing and calling it divine intervention, because of those the army from a section of the country killed in another section of the country.
They said he sectionalized the army by infiltrating it with people from a certain section of the country and religion, and even with terrorists who hate Christians and those from the southern part of Nigeria, where the oil that feds the nations comes from.
I said to myself if these things are all true, then we are in trouble.
So when he died yesterday, people called it divine intervention. He had previously said, certain good things will never happen to certain people from a section of our country except over his dead body. Sadly, he died and People said God just answered His prayer.
MAY NATIONS NOT BE LED BY PEOPLE OPERATING IN THE FIRES OF HELL.
They will unleash hell on those not practicing their religion, living their way of life, or serving the LORD. They will see themselves as masters and treat those they lead as slaves. They will feed on the poor and use them to keep themselves in power. They will strip others of what they can use to defend themselves and leave them at their mercy.
The beauty is, when you leave people at your mercy, that is when God takes over; that is when He comes in to mess your life because no man is created to be sovereign over another. Whatever you do on earth make sure you do not do it with people who operates the fires of hell.
Jesus went on to tell us what people filed with the fires of hell does, and what the kingdom of usually do in response. He said;
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:9-14 NKJV
This scripture tells us more of what to expect from people filled with the fires of hell. He said deliver they will deliver the righteous or innocent to tribulation, and kill them. They will make people hate us for His name sake. In other words, for being called a Christian, you will be hated.
The Bible says in season when the souls of men are filled with the fires of hell, people will be taking offense at the slightest provocation; mostly unjustly. Leading to betrayals, hate and the rise of false prophets and falsehood.
When false prophets and falsehood rises, you find hearts snared in religious or political deceptions, especially through the media. You find people believing the lie and rejecting the truth. You find even those who should know, placed in a state of not knowing, filling more souls with the fires of hell.
IN MOMENTS LIKE THIS, THE KINGDOM OF GOD USUALLY CALL ON THE RIGHTEOUS TO ENDURE.
Meaning, one of the major things God does in response to all the things is spiritual capacity building, through the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom. That was why Jesus said;
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
It is therefore not a season to hear any other gospel other than the gospel of the Kingdom. Yes, season like this are not seasons for heaping teachers according to your own lust. They are not seasons for tuning your heart to any other gospel other than the gospel of the kingdom.
The gospel of the kingdom is not about redemption of first born or the giving of first fruits. It is not about monitoring spirits, spiritual husband, or evil altars. All that is the gospel of the misinformed that has worked for some as a decoy to destroyed others.
The gospel of the Kingdom is the gospel of the King and His Domain.
The King is Christ; His domain is what is coming to take over the earth after the rapture. It represents His influence, power and glory, impacting the hearts of men with the knowledge of His eternal will, plans and purposes, shaping our lives and characters to hasten the age to come.
A major Highlight in our devotional text says,
“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?”
THERE IS A SPIRITUAL MODE OR FAITH POSITION THAT HASTENS THE DAY OF THE LORD.
Peter described it as a holy conduct and godliness, that looks for and hastens the coming of the day of God. You don’t take this faith position listening to the money spinning and demon of deliverance inspired preachers we have today. That is why we are in trouble.
You cannot even take this faith position listening to preachers that make you need conscious; so called servants of God who make your earthly needs, instead of your spiritual eternal needs, the reason for your fast, your prayers and worship.
As it stands, the preachers that will bring the Church into the appropriate faith position for our season, seems extinct on the face of the earth. The many so called powerful men and women of God and spiritual fathers, appear not to even know what Peter was talking about. They are just leading so many in the church astray.
But God will always have a remnant, and I believe there is a remnant. But they are very few – very few preachers in the spiritual landscape of God’s redemptive plans preaching the right things.
Yes, there are very, very, very few who holding messages with apostolic capacity to propel the Church into that holy conduct and godliness, that looks for and hastens the coming of the day of God. But most of them are surrounded by persecution and many of them grossly misunderstood.
But the Bible call their ministries THE MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL. It also called them GOOD PASTURES. Bible prophecy said God will move His sheep to them this end times and it is happening already.
Friend, there is so much to share, but may the LORD help us! May the LORD keep searching for His sheep and seeking them out, as a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep.
May He keep delivering His flock from the mouths of so called spiritual fathers and mothers, the mouths of charlatans and killer prophetesses, that they may no longer be food for them. May He keep delivering them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.
Yes, may He keep bringing them to their own land; may He keep feeding them in good pasture, and in their spiritual folds. May He make them to lie down in good folds and rich pastures, because the days are dangerous. Amen and Amen.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY;
“Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
“As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock”
— therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD:
“Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.”
For thus says the Lord GOD:
“Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.
And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.
I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. Ezekiel 34:7-14 NKJ
