TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Monday 24TH May 2021)
“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.”
“Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.” Deuteronomy 8:3-5 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 144TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
The God of Heaven and earth Has been kind, gracious and merciful to us! One major attribute of this God that redeemed us from all other gods is His mercifulness.
In fact, those gods are not really gods. They are fallen angels, systems and passions. They all have no capacity for mercy. They do not keep, they destroy.
It will be the first act of kindness from Satan to love you as God does. Though He deceives people around telling them of his kindness, and giving them wealth and affluence in exchange for their souls, he has no capacity for mercy. The people calls what he does kindness or care from him because they are blind.
They are blind to the fact that they did not receive any act of kindness from the devil they only did a dangerous business transaction with him; giving their souls blindly in exchange of all he offered to them. But the mercies, kindness and graciousness of God is from everlasting to everlasting.
God loves us unconditionally and that love has moved us from second to second, minute to minute, day to day, week to week and month to month since this year began. Truly, every bit of the year has been blanketed by His mercies – His mercies have been our insurance package all the year and it’s the best form of insurance you can have on the face of the earth.
His mercies have also been responsible for the spiritual depths we have been swimming in. It has indeed been a year of Higher Heights because of the greater depths of His love and revelation that we have experienced.
God reveals Himself to who He loves. It is like in the natural; you do not hide yourself from who you love. You reveal yourself to them through conversations and intimate moments. God loves us hence revealing Himself to us, in our intimate moments with Him.
I SEE THE TEACHING MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AS ONE OF THE MAJOR WAYS GOD TELLS MEN, “I LOVE YOU.”
Irrespective of what may be happening on earth, it’s clear that the days of His glory are indeed here. They are not going to come. They have come! Just as it happened in the days of Jesus when He announced that the kingdom of God had arrived – yet many were not aware so also it is with us.
When He came to announce the Kingdom, He said to them,
“But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” NLT Matthew 12:28
The casting out of demons was a sign of the arrival of His kingdom. So also in matters of the glory, the illumination of our hearts with the revelation of God’s ways and will is a sign that we are in days of His glory. Don’t forget it was when Moses was in the realm of glory that he asked God for the revelation of His ways.
It is in the realm of glory that we learn God’s ways.
Jesus spent three and half years going through the streets of Jerusalem, casting out demons, healing the oppressed and doing all manner of miracles, to demonstrate the arrival of the kingdom of God on earth. Today, His Holy Spirit is moving across the nations, illuminating the hearts of the elects with the revelation of who God is; His ways and eternal will, to announce the arrival of the days of glory. .
To announce the arrival of the kingdom to that world, Jesus did so many miracles, signs and wonders, to announce the arrival of the days of His glory, He is illuminating the hearts of the elects with light and understanding from Heaven’s sea of mysteries, through the Holy Scriptures.
God wants everyone to experience this days of glory because the knowledge of the glory of the LORD shall cover the earth like the waters cover the sea. But they must first enter His kingdom for that to happen because the revelation of the glory is a kingdom activity.
But sadly those who have been invited into the Kingdom have settled in Church life instead of Kingdom life.
THEY EMBRACED CHURCH LIFE IN PLACE OF KINGDOM LIFE, NOT KNOWNG THAT THE TWO ARE NOT THE SAME.
Church life is a life of being a church man or woman; getting busy with church activities and living within the system without God doing any genuine Kingdom Advance through you as written in heaven. It is a life that gives people an assurance of a salvation they do not have.
kingdom LIFE calls for an abandoning of your ways and an embrace of God’s ways. Church life keeps you in your ways and get you mixed up with a religious life that conforms with this world. It encourages a life that do not confront sin, iniquity or trespass, as they ought to be confronted.
For instance, if you are a polygamist, it will keep you in polygamy siting David, Solomon and the rest and still call you saved. If you are not properly married, it will keep you there and say God understand. It calls co-habitation marriages and marriages in man’s design perfect. It does not rock the boat, if need to be, to align people with God. It labels those who do so as fanatics or cult.
Sadly, these things a done by the ministries of preachers. Like the Pharisees and Sadducees, they do not enter the kingdom life because it is costly. They just stand at the door, preventing those who want to enter from entering. Jesus says,
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Mathew 23:13 NKJV
Yesterday we had our first in person service after the lockdown.
After the service, one of our church workers brought three books to me and an audio cd. She said she found them carefully dropped somewhere at the hall be someone who am sure returned them in fear under the directive of a prophet or prophetess or an aggrieved person, because am familiar with the terrain.
The three books were books I wrote few years back, OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT BY THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S POWER, RIDING ON COVENANT WINGS and YOU SHALL NOT BE POOR.
The first book, OVERCOMING WITCHCRAFT BY THE GREATNESS OF GOD’S POWER, exposed the witchcraft in many churches and God’s way of dealing with all witchcraft matters. It places you literally on the wings of power.
The last chapter of the book spoke about the glory of God that is coming to us this end time to place us in realms where witchcraft and all other works of the devil will no longer be a things of concern in our lives.
I CONSIDER THIS BOOK ONE OF THE BEST OF ALL THE 14 BOOKS I HAVE WRITTEN IN LIFE BECAUSE OF ITS DEPTH.
The second one, RIDING ON COVENANT WINGS, is an expose’ on the four basic covenants in the Bible that you must walk in to be all that God has called you to be. It spoke about enforcing righteousness in your life and the life of others.
It also spoke about the covenant of worship and the covenant of salt that David operated in that got him throne of Israel forever. It shows us how we can get things from God the same way. It made it clear that the covenant of salt has nothing to do with the licking of salt or the use of it in prayer.
The covenant of salt is just a covenant of unending intimacy with God that.
The third book, YOU SHALL NOT BE POOR, exposed the three kinds of prosperity on earth and how to come into the prosperity of the righteous decreed in scriptures. People have read this book and broke from the yoke of poverty without doing the sowing seeds thing.
It is a book that teaches you how to discover your stream of income and receive from God as His child.
Now, if not for demonic influences, how will someone return such books treating them as cultic? The real cultic books that teaches them to pray naked at night, or go to some places to arrest the queen of heaven, or redeemed themselves as first born are not considered cultic.
But a book that reveal the mystery of God’s will and ways in dealing is considered cultic. That tells you there is a spiritual war on earth to make sure no soul is saved from deception. The truth is, every thing I pen down exposes spiritual deception and smashes its grip on people’s hearts. And that is what scars the army of Satan among us, pushing its victims to return the books!
It is a darkened generation that only God’s mercy can save. Like they have always done to captives, the person must have been led by ‘the lord’ to bring the books and cd the way they were brought.
Every child of God who have read the books returned have been empowered, renewed and revived by the LORD. There are lots and lots of testimonies. The cd was a message preached in 2016 that changed the moral landscapes of many hearts, titled “YOU NEED A CITY OF REFUGE.”
Like I said earlier, the person must have been told by either someone who is aggrieved with me, a so called pastor, prophet or prophetess, operating with the of deception that we are cult and that the books should be returned to us.
I have met people under false prophets, who were attacked by the lying spirits they submit to through those prophets, for reading our books. There is war on earth my friend!
I FELT SO SORRY FOR INNOCENT SOULS TRAPPED IN SPIRITUAL DECEPTION AND INFLUENCES OF DIVINATION SPIRITS IN THIS NATION.
Sadly, so many false prophets and prophetess are spending their energies confusing people with dreams, visions and manifestations that are from the demonic realm, about the true God. Their activities are preventing those they LORD died for from entering the kingdom.
Like the Pharisees and the Sadducees, they stand at the door to the kingdom, refusing to enter and preventing others from entering. They specialize in turning people twice the sons of hell like themselves. The Bible says they shall receive greater condemnation in the day of judgment. Sadly, they do not know this verdict of God on them.
You must not allow yourself to be misled by these kind of people.
The kingdom of darkness has always used people trapped in church life to prevent souls from entering the kingdom of God.
They do not prevent people from going to empty churches, they just prevent them from going to Churches like the Antioch Church in the book of acts – apostolic breakthrough churches that brings one into the kingdom life.
The Kingdom life is a life of Kingdom power and glory. A life of not breaking curses, being redeemed as first born or being manipulated to give this or give that to be free from this or that. It is a life that is governed directly by the King of the Kingdom, ruling and reigning through us on the face of the earth.
It is a life that does not treat sin as weakness but as an enemy that must be dealt with. It is a life that does not leave you in alignment with the ways of man. It has a way of unplugging or transforming us from things that are born of the will of blood, the will of the flesh, and the will of man, into things that are born of the will of GOD.
It is a life of pressing into the substance of the Kingdom not shadows of the Old Testament.
For instance, it will take you from using oil in prayer to having the Holy Spirit in your life without using oil in prayer. It will take you from using salt in prayer to becoming the salt of the earth. It will take you form using candle in prayer to becoming the candle of the LORD and etc.
IT DOES NOT KEEP US COMFORTABLE IN SIN INIQUITY OR TRESPASS. IT IS AN ENEMY OF ANYTHING FROM THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS.
It may interest you to know that the kingdom life is shaped by the glory of the LORD, impacting even our physical lives with it. A major highlight in our devotional text captured this impact of the glory of God upon our lives through kingdom living on our physical lives, when it says;
“Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.”
The very clothes and shoes Israel put on when they left Egypt grew with them and were not dirty. There were no streams for taking their birth yet they were not dirty. The glory bathed them both spiritually and naturally. They took their birth once in Egypt and stepped into the cloud and remained clean for 40 years.
That was the glory of the kingdom in demonstration.
Child of GOD our primary assignment remains to save others as the LORD saved us. If our generation of terrible men and women will come into the kingdom to be saved, we in the body of Christ must step up in our faith, and start announcing the kingdom to them by demonstrating kingdom power and glory.
We must come into great demonstrations that Israel and the apostle saw.
We must also not forget that, there could be demonstrations of Kingdom Power and glory but that only make people willing to enter the kingdom, bringing them to church.
Being in Church is a step to entering the Kingdom, it all depends on what the Church teaches and does. So, the demonstrations could bring people to church but they do not bring them into the kingdom. We must seek to take them further. If we leave them there they will settle with Church life, and that will not be good for their eternal life.
We must understand that such demonstrations bring people to Church so that they can brought into the kingdom life by being fed, not with bread alone, but with every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD, as revealed in our devotional text.
This word will not be empty preaching or a need based gospel, but sound spiritual food that can turn a dying lamb into a conquering lion. Teachings that turn Children of God into Sons, building them up to become temples for God in the Spirit.
Finally, let me admonish every one who calls upon the name of the LORD, to take responsibility of their faith, and fight for their eternal life by making sure the spirit of divination and other unclean spirits that are stirring so called believers, pastors, prophets and prophetesses to influence the naïve and ignorant negatively, do not stop them from entering the kingdom.
We must be watchful of the Pharisee and Seduces and their ministries this end time. They are not just sons of hell but spiritual fathers and mothers of same.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore, you will receive greater condemnation.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
“Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’
Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’
Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore, he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
