TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Friday 25th June 2021)
“Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the Heavens.
Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in Heaven, and in the Earth!” Psalms 113:1-6 KJV
WELCOME TO THE 176TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
I want to begin today’s devotional by saying a big thank you to all the good people – sons, daughters (Biological and spiritual), friends, relatives, in-laws, our Churches in Nigeria and Kenya for the prayers they sent to heaven for me, gifts they gave me and kinds words they spoke to me especially through the social media, phone calls and text messages to make my 45th Birthday glorious.
I give God the praise for yesterday prophetic birthday service. I appreciate all those who were able to make it to the meeting despite the traffic jam in the city of Nairobi.
Indeed, it takes good people around to become a person in life. Thanks for being good people around. May the LORD GOD of Heaven and earth make all your lives glorious and worth living in Jesus precious name. AMEN
There are people whose breath is sustained by God’s mercy and amazing kindness. I am one of them. There are people that only the pardon and power of God is keeping alive and making them shine like the stars in-spite of being nothing. I am one of them.
I consider myself as one of the weak things of this world that God, in His mercies, has chosen to use in confronting things that are mighty. That’s why I rely so much on Him. I consider myself as one of the foolish and despise things of this world that God decided to choose and use to confront things that are, hence depending on His might and wisdom.
Child of God, depending on where your post is in God’s end time army, it is painful and at the same time humbling to be use of God in a crooked and perverse generation.
Today I want to share with us again what I consider to be my greatest regret in life.
Like many believers today we are following those we call great men of God from Nigeria and the United States, who are peddling another gospel, I was a victim of the false grace gospel and the fall-down-and-die heretic teaching for a season. It ruined my life.

Today marked the day my father died. He died a day after my 25th Birthday. The circumstance that surrounded his death and my role is what makes this story the story of my greatest regret in life. That is why I dedicated the book “PROVISIONS FROM UNEXPECTED ENDS” to his memory.
I know nothing I will do will repair the damage, but this generation must learn what happened over and over again so that we will not repeat the mistake I made.
I was one of the preachers of the-fall-down-and-die gospel. It was not originally my gospel. I took it from Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry when they first came to my City, Abuja, Nigeria.
Until you meet the LORD personally in His resurrected form, you will never know that this terrible Mountain of Fire spirit propels a gospel that is a major plague to Apostolic Christianity and what the body of Christ should stand for in a dying world. You will never know how it kills the spirit of love for enemies and prayer for those who persecute and despitefully use you as presented by Christ in Matthew chapter 5.
The fall-down-and-die gospel is a gospel that kills love and concern for family members by teaching you that they are witches to be killed. It kills love for our family members and make sure it does not exist in our hearts. It has ruined so many lives, making people hate Church, and many more are being ruined.
Mine was ruined but God showed up early before more damage could be incurred.
I remember going about holding Crusades in rural areas, and leading other people to Christ but hating my own Dad for things he did. I was an evangelist who could not get his own father evangelized, forgetting that I was his seed.
In fact, I was wishing the worst for him for abandoning us in 1987 because of the great sufferings and adversity we went through after he left.
BUT IN MY BLINDNESS I FORGOT THAT I WAS STILL HIS SEED, AND IN WISHING HIM THE WORST I WAS WISHING MYSELF THE WORST.
I forgot that I am alive because he births me to the earth. How else was I supposed to be a Christian other than forgiving him and leading him to Christ? I have even done worse than he did and yet God forgave me. But because I was not taught to walk in forgiveness and mercy but to call down fire on my enemies, I led a life of hate for him until his death.
Every 25th Day of June reminds me of this wickedness and the insanity I called Christianity.
I want to request all who called themselves Christians like I did, but are living in hate towards their unsaved relatives; fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, siblings and etc. to stop the madness and go get them saved. If you cannot reach them pray for them. They need Jesus before they die. That was what I never did.
Few months to my Dad’s death I had a vision while I was praying that he came visiting us and after a day he died. That was God showing me what was about happening. He sent the mail so I can go get him saved with all my Evangelistic power, so to speak. But did I? No!
The enemy mindset and hate that masquerades itself as wisdom prevented me from understanding the message. I told my mum then that God has shown me that my Dad was going to die and that he will die when he visits us. And we have to make sure he leaves if he ever visited, so that he will not die in our hands..
Amazingly, few weeks later he was brought to our house form the village. I think he came seeking reconciliation. But we did not see it because of the kill–your-enemies gospel.
Then, I did not know that God brought him so that I can preach the gospel to him, since his time on earth was over. Sadly, I did what every fall-down-and-die gospel believer will do; we served him food and I asked that he leaves immediately.
He left, and that became the last contact I had with my Dad.
He went back to the village and few weeks later we heard he had passed on to the next life. Then I did not know that I allowed a soul the LORD brought to me to reap into His kingdom to slip through my hands and die without knowing the LORD.
YOU SEE, MY LIFE IS FULL OF REGRETS, BUT THIS ONE IS THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL.
Now, I know why many believers will be in hell.
Due to the teachings from the leading preachers in Nigeria that I imbibed, I use to believe that once you have recited the sinner’s prayer and start attending church faithfully Heaven will be your sure destination after death. It does not matter how you live thereafter.
But as I began to study the Bible personally, and walk away from the teachings I imbibed from these men that I considered the greatest servants of God on earth, I began to see how many believers are lost. Scriptures like Mathew Chapter 5, 7, and many others, and what apostles Paul, John, Jude and Peter wrote began to show me what Christianity ought to be.
The worst thing that can ever happen to you is to be deceived with heretic teachings and made to believe in another gospel apart from the one our apostolic fathers taught. Another gospel will present another Christ to you and impart into your life the spirit of the antichrist. You will never lead a proper Christian life being under the spirit of the antichrist. Apostle John wrote saying;
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1 NKJV
But we believe every spirit they present to us and do not test anyone.
We do not test the spirit that this our so called cutting edge spiritual leaders are operating in. We just call the monies they have acquired as proofs that they are following God. We treat the miracles that happen by their hands as proofs that they are following God, even when the teaching on their lips are false and heretic.
We forget that the teachings are not shaping us to live the Christian lives that our apostolic fathers lived in the days of the Bible. They are shaping us to treat adultery, fornication, lesbianism, and all forms of abominable practices as weakness instead of symptoms that we are heading to hell fire.
THEY MAKE US NOT TO WALK IN THE LIGHT OF WHAT OUR BIBLE FATHERS TAUGHT.
For instance, the Bible says;
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV
We do not walk in the light if this scripture.
The scripture said we should not be deceived by our so called generals and heroes of faith who teaches or leads otherwise, but many have been deceived.
It is sad when we call preachers who preaches messages that make people earth worthy and Heaven unworthy servants of God. I don’t think they are. They are servants of self instead.
Maybe they started as servants of God, but now they have become servants of self. Because no servant of God who is in good standing with his God will preach a message that will make you gain the whole world and lose your soul.
You may have been all that God says will send a soul to hell, when you turn to the LORD and gets sanctified, you will be transformed. When you are transformed you begin to lead a Heaven worthy life. People in the days of our Bible fathers where worse than some of us but where transformed unlike some of us. That is why the Bible says;
“And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6: 11 NKJV
How do you know a heretic teaching or false gospel? It is not always by the content but by what it leaves in your life. Is that gospel washing you of your sinful life? Is it sanctifying you so that you can be presented as an undefiled virgin of Christ?
Is it removing the spots and wrinkles in your life and killing the little foxes that spoil the vine or it is just giving you an assurance pf salvation that lack conversion? We must become very careful of what we imbibed from our so called spiritual leaders. Many of them a misleading the flock of the LORD.
The day you will die and appear before the LORD for judgment, that preacher will not be with you to answer for you. The Heavenly race runs on a lonely path. There are no activists that follow departed souls to the next life to argue their case before the Judge of the earth.
That preacher you are fighting for, whose falsehood you are defending, who is taking all your tithes, offerings and sacrifices, will not be there when you stand before God for judgment. So lead a Christian life that Christ created in his word not the one the so called Papas, Mamas, GOs, Bishops, Archbishops, Prophets, or whatever are creating.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY!
Then He who sat on the throne said,

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:5-9 NKJV
