TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Tuesday 13th July 2021)
“THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.”
“For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.” Romans 8:1-2 AMP
WELCOME TO THE 194TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
Yes, it has been 194 days of God’s mercies, goodness and compassion. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. For these 194 days, He has indeed been faithful, feeding us with choice spiritual food from His throne room.
He has fed us through published books, church in the hall, The Morning Cloud Television Global and etc. I cannot forget the just concluded revelation of authority to subdue nations, burning clay and living stones, etc. A lot of us have really come alive in the Spirit.
Indeed, like the body needs quality NATURAL food so survive so the spirit and souls of men need quality SPIRITUAL food to survive.
We have now come to realize that what untaught, premature, false or copy paste preachers have been blaming on evil altars, evil foundation, ancestral curses, and etc. was blamed on lack of spiritual food by Christ. Can you imagine the whole church coming to know this truth, all of these preachers will no longer have a soul to preach their lying doctrines to!
Yes, can you imagine all who are trapped in the fall down and die snare and so called deliverance circles coming to the revelation of the simplest way to bind a demon; which is to led a crucified life? Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries and related Churches will just be shut down completely. They will have no job to do again.
The blood of Jesus has set us free from all those forms of captivity. It’s just that many have not been able to actualize what the blood of Christ did for us in their lives because of lack of revelation.
WE NEED TO COME TO THE REVELATION OF WHAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS DONE FOR US AND HOW TO PUT IT TO WORK.
Satan knows that the only way to keep him alive is to be praying and binding him instead of following God’s way of permanently putting him out of people’s lives; the way of the crucified life; hence putting another gospel on the lips of preachers. He has made sure no preacher preaches any message that will produce the crucified life in people. That is why you will never hear any so called cutting edge preacher teaching anything about the crucified life.
The absence of the very message that the devil hates is the reason we have Christians who are not Christ like. It is the reason we have people who have not even repented parading themselves as prophets, apostles, Bishops, and etc. producing Church members who are thrice sons of hell like them.
Why won’t demons be a thing of concern in their lives? How do you expect demons to leave you when you are not living the life they hate? Start living the life that Satan hate and you will see his demon eave you without prayer.
Satan hates the crucified life. He knows the power it generates on earth. It brings back the very power that conquered him on the cross back to his camp and makes him feel the very pain he felt when Jesus destroyed Him by dying on the cross. The Bible says;
“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrew 2:14-15 NKJV
That is why only those who led the Crucified life can generate the power to release those who were all their lifetime subject to bondage without carrying out some investigations about their lives or asking them to fast, pray, or sow this seed or the other seed. Only they can bring deliverance to people without deliverance inventions or sorcery.
Yes, only they can generate the power to save without the practice of false or money making doctrines like raising of altars and etc.
If you look at the army of those who are under one form of spiritual attack or the other, you will find people who have not truly repented of their sins; people who have not truly or fully turned to Christ. Hence, not enjoying the full benefits of redemption.
THOSE WHO CLAIM BORN AGAIN ARE MERELY PSYCHOLOGICALLY SAVED.
No real encounter with Jesus. In spiritual reality, they are still under the domain of darkness in the spirit realm where deliverance is not possible. And for many of them, the pastors who minister to them are also not saved.
People must understand that until they fully turn to the LORD, they will never enjoy the full benefits of redemption. He that lives in sin is of the devil. And what is of the devil cannot cast out what is of the devil. They will just be playing games on people’s lives.
Jesus made it clear that the satanic cannot cast out the satanic.
Unsaved pastor cannot minister deliverance to an unsaved person. At best they can only tap into the powers of the demon of deliverance or the anointing of the anointed cherub. The unsaved person who needs deliverance, and the unsaved pastor who wants to deliver him or her, must first be saved and baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire before trying to engage GOD.
A lot of salvation experiences today are not genuine. The Bible made it clear that if a salvation experience is not genuine, those certified saved by the evangelist or the Church will be found walking after the dictates of the flesh not the dictates of the Spirit.
Our devotional text today says; there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the dictates of the flesh but of the Spirit.
Meaning if you find someone who claims born again but walks after the dictates of the flesh and not the Spirit, you have found a condemned sinner who parades himself or herself as saved but not actually saved!
THAT PERSON CAN BE MERCILESSLY BEATEN BY THE DEVIL.
Genuine salvation experience is a byproduct of deep convictions of the Holy Ghost; deep enough to turn a harlot or an adulterer, a thief or liar, a murderer or an ardent criminal, a greedy or bloodletting politician and etc. into a precious saint of the Most High God, living a Holy life in place of the sinful and wicked lives he or she once lived.
When genuine salvation experience take place in the life of a man, it replaces his flesh led life with a Spirit led life, making it impossible for the person to be adjudged guilty before God irrespective of what he or she may have done in the past. That is why the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.”
What is the message of our devotional this morning?
The message is simple and clear! Without genuine salvation experience, the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, and regular intake of quality spiritual food, the full blessings of our redemption purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ will never speak in our lives.
There is still power in the blood of Jesus. The Old Rugged Cross has not lost its power. It still washes from sin and makes it impossible for any form of satanic and demonic works to prosper in our lives.
But it will take a salvation experience founded in conviction of sin, conviction of righteousness, and conviction of judgment and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, coupled with a regular intake of rich spiritual food and outpouring of the Holy Ghost, to experience the power of the blood and Cross of Jesus Christ.
Sadly, many do not know that there is a difference between a “salvation decision” and a “salvation encounter.” Salvation decisions are religious decisions we take to follow Christ or become Christians. They are not based on convictions of the Spirit. In other words, they are circumstances based!
They are based on the desire to either be free from demonic attack, get or stay married, walk away from poverty, or obtain one earthly miracle or the other from God. They are not based on the conviction of sin, judgment, and righteousness. That is why those we certify saved by their salvation decisions live a life that is no different from the ones the lost and hell bound live.
Again, our devotional text
“For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.”
When you see someone living in sin and calling himself ‘born again’ you have seen an impostor. The law of sin and death is still at work in his or her life. What makes us born again is the law of the Spirit of life working in us, making us the righteousness of Christ Jesus by moral character.
If the law of sin and death is still at work in your life, after a so called salvation decision, you are not born again. The truth is, you are lost and in need of genuine salvation experience. The quicker you come to terms with that Biblical truth the better.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION;
“For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.”
“Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].”
“[That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.”
“So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. Romans 8:5-8 AMP
