THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Sunday 22nd August 2021)

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 KJV

WELCOME TO THE 234th DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!

It please the LORD to start a fresh week with us today with the grand finale for the seven days seven mountains season four. We appreciate Him for all His kindness and marvelous deeds. It’s has been a week of a baptism of the spirit of Prophecy on great Bible Mysteries about entering into divine promises.

This morning we shall be looking into matters that borders on the release of divine destiny.

To start with, many of us do not know that the word Christian was a word that was originally used to describe a people who moved from the traditions of men to that of God. It was used to describe a people who caught something beyond this world and began to unleash it on the face of the earth.

They received God into their lives in the name of Christ, and allowed Him to live a life He has pre determine for mankind through them. They literally released a divine destiny from eternity to time and won their world back to God.

Since destiny has to do with a pre-determined or pre-planned life, I want you to understand that the release of divine destiny is the essence of Christianity. That means, whenever or wherever a divine destiny is released, the purpose of Christianity is fulfilled. And where a heavenly purpose is fulfilled, the prosperity of the righteous is inevitable.

Poverty most times, is a consequence of not sensing why you are here on earth, and pursuing it with the whole of your heart. It is a result of not spending your days dying for the release of your divine destiny.

Your divine destiny has to do with Heaven’s pre-planned goals, visions and purposes for your life.

The truth is, God buried your riches in your divine destiny. He made sure the storehouse of your provision is buried with His assignment for our life. That is why the prosperity of the righteous is always as the result of the release of his or her divine destiny.

I believe, there would have been no poor one among us if all Christians had focused their faith on releasing their divine destiny in Christ Jesus. If you think it is not true, consider the nation of Israel when they came out of Egypt.

WHEN WE LOOK BACKWARD, WE CAN SEE FORWARD

When Israel (the Church in the Old Testament) came out of Egypt, there was no poor one among them. Everyone was made a Billionaire in one night because they all stepped into divine destiny.

But when they were in Egypt doing what was not God’s assignment for their lives, everyone was poor. They were economic slaves. That tells us that we will remain an economic slave doing what is not God’s assignment for our life!

The same divine feat was repeated in the Church of the New Testament that we all belong. When they came out of the outer darkness and began the Church movement, they Bible say there was no poor one among them.

Great grace was upon them all, and no one lacked anything.

That is still part of God’s economic vision for the end time Church. His vision remains to erase lack from the saints so that we can have the sufficiency to do His will. But the vision will never be fulfilled until we become divine destiny driven and not carnal ambition driven.

The question now is, what is the economic worth of a man’s destiny? Only eternity can measure that, because in time it is beyond measure. I have seen the prosperity in one man’s divine destiny take care of his entire lineage. I have seen people with the courage to pursue God’s assignment for their lives not lacking any good thing.

PERSONALLY, I STARTED RELEASING MY DESTINY AT 16.

A lot has come out of it. It has taken care of so many people in my life. I grew up to discover that our money is in God’s assignment for our lives. Our lack of divine provision is a prove that one is not in God’s assignment for his or her life.

From personal experiences I learnt that there is no poor one on the face of the earth. We only have people who are yet to discover the wealth in their divine destiny. And you could be one of them reading this piece this morning. Our devotional text said, “Where there is no vision people perish”.

Vision is the unfolding or prophetic revelation of what God buried in your destiny. It is what activates the release of a divine destiny.

If you lack the vision of what God created you to do, you will never come into the prosperity of the righteous. If you lack the revelation of what God buried in your destiny and the power to unleash it, you will either remain poor or key into the prosperity of the wicked for economic freedom.

Friend, wherever God’s assignment for your life is, there your money lies. Sadly, people will prefer looking up to others for money instead of looking up to God to reveal where His assignment for their lives lies.

We easily forget that depending on people to feed us or creeping on the floor to have them meet our need is a curse. Except the physically challenged; People who do that are shortchanging themselves. That is why God did not create the first man a dependent on any other creation. He created him to be very wealthy through the release of divine destiny depending on Him alone.

All the wealth he needed was placed in God’s assignment for his life. God literally put gold in the place of his divine destiny, and as he released it there was no lack in his life. In fact, poverty came when he was driven away from his assignment and the appointed place for it.

Once again, your poverty and financial struggle is a proof that you are not in God’s assignment for your life!

The only creature that was created to creep with its belly was the snake and other creeping things of the earth. You are not a creeping thing of the earth. Stop begging to survive. Start looking into the Spirit to locate your divine destiny. That is where your money is.

ONE THING GOD WILL DO TO HELP US LOOK INTO OUR DESTINY IS TO SHUT THE HEARTS OF CONCERNED PEOPLE NOT TO ASSIST US AGAIN.

That was what happened to me. I usually beg to survive. That was before I was 16. But God changed my mentality and made me to understand that begging is not part of the covenant. I insult Him each time I do so.

When I hit 21, I was already in full throttle pursing my destiny and was richer than my peers. Though there have been ups and down in my financial life because of the responsibility I shoulder, God has always used the release of my destiny to supply my needs. You are the next on His list!!!

I want to say this to my fellow ministers; ministry is not a begging machine.

Many preachers think ministry is a begging machine. They solicit for funds in such a way that one will think God were dead. They erode all honor attached to the ministerial call, making people suspicious of even the innocent among us.

The truth is “GOD’S MAN IN GOD’S APPOINTED PLACE, DOING GOD’S WILL IN GOD’S APPOINTED TIME WILL NEVER LACK GOD’S PROVISION.” If you lack supply, there is something wrong with you!

If there is no accuracy in the revelation of your divine destiny and the power to unleash it as a minister of the gospel, you will see ministry as a begging machine.

As we embrace this day, remember that all you need is vision of your divine destiny and the power to unleash it. You do not need that friend or foreigner, that uncle or aunty of yours with excess money.

You do not need donor agencies to survive. You’ve got all you need, so stop insulting God through begging and stop putting yourself under curses by trusting in the arm of flesh. Start unleashing your destiny by pursuing God’s assignment for your life.

You may not need to start big, just begin small and you will see the favor of the LORD on people who do not despise days of small beginnings come on.

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;” Genesis 26:12-13 NKJV
