TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL (Thursday 26th August 2021)
“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” Revelation 2:8-11 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 238TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
God has been faithful to us, giving us another day to serve our generation according to His will. He has been our God and our king as always. His mercies have kept our hearts beating and our blood flowing. It has not handed us over to our enemies, or given us over to their teeth.
It is not because of our righteousness but His mercies. Our righteousness is like a filthy rag before Him. It is His righteousness flowing through us that made us acceptable in His sight. To Him belong all the glory! Amen and amen.
Today, LORD has a strong apostolic word for all who tremble at His word. Clearly, the synagogue of Satan is under attack from the LORD Himself.
When He promised that He will build His church; and that the gates of hell will not prevail against it, it appeared as if it was just a statement. But it was not. It was a declaration of war! That is why those who belonged to the synagogue of Satan has not prevailed for too long against the true church in any generation.
One way the LORD attack the Synagogue of Satan is by stripping it of deceit and exposing its wickedness across the spectrum of the secrecies of those who belonged to it. But, why is the LORD doing this at this time?
You see, there has been no time that the Christian faith has come under attack, by the activities of the synagogue of Satan like now. People who are seen as spiritual leaders of the Body of Christ have been launching surgical attacks against the faith through their evil deeds for many years now.
When a spiritual leader keeps sexual partners around, having kids by some and getting involved in terrible orgies, he or she has launched an attack on the faith. They have presented what is not God as God by their evil deeds. An upcoming generation will see their evil deeds as the way to go.
THAT IS WHY GOD WILL ALWAYS RAISE APOSTOLIC AND PROPHETIC VOICES TO ROAR HIS WORD TO SET THINGS IN ORDER.
I remember growing up as little Catholic boy in Abuja in the early 1980’s. We had this Australian Reverend father who takes alcohol and smoke Pipes and all kinds of cigarette. So my sister and I thought it was alright to smoke, so we folded papers and started smoking it calling the name of the Reverend father in the process.
I remember my mum and Dad being the ones God use to beat the devil out of us, not the Church. That is how easy for a spiritual leader to misled an upcoming generation.
When a spiritual leader becomes immoral, those under their influence will become derailed. To save them, God will bring him to the threshing floor of the public he has been deceiving.
I have come to discover that God will always bring the persistently faithless leader to the public through the media after waring him for many years in private. Then He will always stir His remnant voices to come up and cry out His word to let the harvest know that whatever the leader may have been doing or may have done is not the moral standard of His kingdom.
A lot of preachers do not represent God, they represent themselves.
They feed their belly and carnal nature by feasting on the sheep financially and other times sexually. When their evil is exposed, they put up shameless defense, even claiming that the Body of Christ is under attack by what may be happening.
But if you are the seed of God you will know they are not even part of the Body of Christ, and that they are the very ones launching an attack on the body of Christ whose name they bear, by their evil deeds.
THE BIBLE SAYS;
“And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
Nevertheless, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 2 Timothy 2:18-20 NKJV
There is so much truth in this scripture. The first verse tells us that all heretic messages spreads like cancer because they appeal to the sinful nature in unregenerate people.
People are looking for preachers will make them feel secured and save in their ungodly lives.
Adulterers, fornicators and liars are looking for who will tell them that all is well with them, irrespective of what they may be doing. Thieves and perjurers are looking for what will make them comfortable in their sins. But Jesus has no preacher in His kingdom who make ungodly people comfortable in their ungodliness.
If you see any preacher or church making ungodly people comfortable in their ungodliness they do not belong to Christ. They belong to the antichrist. It is so clear in scriptures that Christ do not have a preacher in His Kingdom who preaches or teaches that we are not perfect; we are humane hence are helpless in our immoral practices.
You will always find preachers in GOD’s kingdom calling men out of a life of sin, iniquity and trespass. If you read the book of Genesis to Revelation, you will find a clear template of the dichotomy; you will find the template for the kind of preachers that are part of God’s kingdom and those who are not part of His kingdom.
You will find preachers like Elijah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Paul the apostle, Jude, Peter, John the Beloved and etc. And in terms of lifestyles, you will never find preaches in extra marital affairs or with Babies out of wedlock because the Spirit and standard that govern being a man or woman of God do not allow for such unethical conducts.
YOU WILL NOT FIND PERJURERS, THIEVES AND LIARS PARADING THEMSELVES AS SERVANTS OF GOD. YOU WILL FIND HOLY MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD.
But if you look at the template of preachers God’s Holy Spirit cried against from Genesis to Revelation, you will find a set of preachers. You will find preachers who steal from God’s people. You will find adulterers and adulteresses parading themselves as servants of God; yes, you will find prophets who walked and lived in sexual immorality.
You will find bishops with many women they sleep with, and still coming out to still call themselves men of God. You will find men called servants of God who are drunks and all that. You will find those who prophesy be Baal and caused God’s people to err. You will find those with the depths of Satan, and many others who have become so immoral that they see nothing wrong with immoral living.
Concerning the ungodly, sinful or immoral or abominable Church leader or member, the Bible says;
“It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife!
And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 NKJV
If you look at this scripture carefully, you will find what really happens in a true house of Grace. A conspicuous fact you will find is “sin is not tolerated in a true house of grace. It is only tolerated in a false house.”
The persistently sinful or grievously sexually immoral are delivered to Satan or excommunicated in a true house of grace. They are treated that way because of the shame their sinful deeds bring to the body of Christ and those under their influence.
ON EXCOMMUNICATION, THE BIBLE SAYS;
“I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.
For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 NKJV
I think those who scream “do not judge” have seen something in this scriptures. The Bible says we are to judge those who are within the Church; meaning ungodly preachers and their members, not those who are not (the lost).
This scripture made it clear that we put the ungodly, perverse or evil person away from the Church. Meaning, if the preacher becomes that person, you walk away from his or her church. Period! You don’t let him or her fool you. Except they repent, they should loose you followership.
Jesus would later appear in the book of Revelation to tell us that the spiritual leaders who are ethical, holy and righteous are part of the leadership of the True Church; the House of God, or Zion. But those who are unethical, immoral and ungodly, are part of the synagogue of Satan.
He said, they are good at putting up huge defense system and claims that present them to the naïve as humble servants of God or Jews, but by spirit nature and lifestyle they are not.
SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS;
… I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.”
It is blasphemy for one to call himself servant of God when his or her life style proves he or she is a servant of the sex goddess or Baal. Sadly, so many believers do not know that most preachers and churches today serves the interest of the sex goddess.
If a preacher is a servant of the interest of the sex goddess, he or she will be involved in so many sexual activities outside marriage and never discipline those who err in matters of sexual sins. It is servants or people of GOD who have become servants of the interest of the sex goddess that get themselves involved in extra marital affairs, with the married breaking the hearts of their spouses, and warning them not to touch the anointed if they try to react.
Single ministers who serve the sex goddess will see sexual sins as nothing to worry about. They will detest or hate preaching and teachings pf sexual purity and fight against GOD’s standards for pure courtship by encouraging pre-marital sex.
Most will be having not just one partner but multiple partners and even getting themselves involved in homosexuality and lesbianism.
There are so many servant of the sex goddess among the clergy today across every denomination who parades themselves as servants of God. God is exposing them and will keep exposing them. I believe whatever we have seen is small. We just have to get set for more because the Church have been brought to the threshing floor.
Friend, the wheat and tares will no longer continue to grow together. Its harvests time – a harvest before the main harvest that will take place at the close of the age.
As we bring this to a close, I want to submit to you that there is so much falsehood today through the use of many words. The word grace is one of such words; it has become a cover for sinful deeds. Unlike the days of Paul and the early church, it now functions as an excuse for sexual immorality.
The elects should not be caught in this deception because it will be eternally dangerous.
The Bible made it clear that anyone who truly belong to the Body of Christ will never attack it with a sinful life style or a persistent life of sin, iniquity or trespass, calling it grace or branding those who warn “sinless perfectionist.”
Those who belong to Christ will depart from iniquity.
