“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 1 Timothy 4:1-2 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 254TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS!
It’s been days of giving heed to the word of the LORD on this platform. We bless the LORD who have been giving us Heavenly counsel every day. We have always found a word to internalize. Yes, like the Psalmist would put it, “Day unto day He has been uttering speeches and night unto night He has been revealing knowledge.”
Man was designed to survive by what God utters and reveals to his senses.
We were designed in such a way that what we give heed to, ultimately determines what our Lives become. That is why, if you do not like the way your life has turned out, check what you have been giving your attention to. You become the content of what enters your soul through meditation.
In other words, what we give heed to, will end up building its thought system within us.
If we give heed to doctrines of devils, they end up forming thought systems of devils within us. If we give heed to the doctrine of God over time, it will form the thought system of God within us over time! If we give heed to the doctrine of our earthly traditions over time, they will form the thought systems that the traditions intended that they form.
It is very important that we check what we have been allowing to enter or fester in our souls and spirits. It will not just determine how our earthly lives turns out. It will also determine our eternal destinations.
AND WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT THERE ARE ONLY TWO DESTINATIONS, HELL OR HEAVEN.
Come to think of it, the thought system of your earthly tribe that is built on the foundation of UNGODLY tradition will make your life an operational zone of what is known as ancestral forces. There are families that will never be free from demonic attacks no matter what they do. The thought system of their ungodly traditions that exist in their souls will never let that happen.
Their deliverance lies in the demolition of those thought systems and a change of resultant life styles. And God’s way of helping any of us achieve that is the ministry of teaching apostles and prophets, not prayer warriors as many thinks. Actually, no prayer from anyone can help someone whose life is built on the foundation of ungodly thought systems.
One of the major reasons for tribalism is the formation of the thought systems of a man’s tribe and traditions within the man! Life is a product of what you hear over time or what you grow up to accept over time. The truth remains, what you gave heed to is responsible for whatever your life has become today either good or bad.
Thought systems are very powerful. They are the most powerful forces on the face of the earth because they shape the lives of people. Sadly, many of us do not realize this until it is too late; until they have formed destructive habits in our lives and shape us very badly.
Our thought systems form the structure of our lives and determines who we really are. The Bible made it clear that, “As we think in our hearts so are we.” You are exactly the kind of thought systems within you!
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he….” Proverbs 23:7 AMP
It is the thought system of a poor man that makes him poor. That is why I teach the elects that poverty is not a pocket-thing but a mind-thing.
THE THOUGHT SYSTEM OF A POOR MAN WILL MAKE HIM SEE NOTHING EVEN WHEN MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITIES ARE PRESENTED TO HIM.
What makes matters worst is when they person is lazy. His eyes will always be on obstacles when presented with a money-making opportunity. His eyes will be on the obstacles instead if the miracles that might happen. to selling a product that will bring the money he needs. His mindset makes him a pessimist instead of an optimist when God present a money-making opportunity to him.
Actually, there is more hope for a hard-working poor man than a lazy one. I was poor but hard working. I handled my jobs well and put in extra hours until my body screams. After many years, God used all that to changed my economic status. The same can happen to you, if you are in His will for your life.
Sometimes a lazy poor man will bring lofty ideas that he can do nothing about, then go about begging or borrowing to actualize his idea. If no one response the way he wants, he will organize a pity party for himself remembering how this and that person refused to help him!
But a hard-working poor man is different. His thought system is different. He may be poor, but in a matter of time, his economic life will change. His thought system will be used by God to change his life.
No hard-working poor man blames anyone for anything. They take responsible in life and deal with problems that arise on their part to economic prosperity. They may play any other game; football, table tennis or whatever. But they do not play the blame game.
WE OFTEN BLAME OTHERS FOR WHAT OUT THOUGHT SYSTEMS ARE DOING TO US, AND IT IS VERY UNFAIR!
For instance, it is the thought system of a thief that makes him or her steal. It is the thought system within a harlot that makes her sale her body for economic fatness. It is the thought system within a Christian that makes him or her to either depart or stay in the faith.
The thought system of a sexually immorality is responsible for his or her sexual escapes. The thought system of a lying prophet or an expired preacher is different from that of a true man or woman of God. The thought system of Elijah is different from the thought system of the prophets of God who became part of the prophets of Baal.
The thought system of Balaam is different from that of Moses. That is why you should not believe Balaam when he is speaking like Moses. No one is what they say. We are all what we think. As a man thinks in his heart so is he.
Your thought systems are responsible for who you are. As you think in your heart so are you! Your life will never change until your thought system changes. You cannot do better in life than the thought system within you.
Your heart may want to do great things or become better than you are right now, but if your though systems are not changed in the direction of what you desire to become, you will never become what you desire to become. Prayer will not even help you in such circumstances.
Sadly, many think prayer is everything. Prayer does not do everything. It is prayer accompanied with a change of thought system in the direction of what you are praying about that does everything.
Effective prayer will only change your life if accompanied by a thought system that will allow the prayer to be answered in your life! That is why God said we are destroyed for lack of knowledge not for lack of prayers.
KNOWLEDGE FROM GOD WILL TRANSFORM OUR THOUGHT SYSTEMS INTO A THOUGHT SYSTEM THAT WILL ALLOW OUR PRAYERS TO BE ANSWERED.
You must understand that if your thought systems runs contrary to what you are asking GOD to give or do in your life, your prayers will remain unanswered.
Most times people do not know how God answer prayers. God answer critical prayers by showing us things that will change our thought systems – especially when our thought systems will hinder answer to such prayers. That is why He said in His words;
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV
The scriptural revelation of what we do not know that comes after we have prayed is very important to the prayer. God answers critical prayers by dissolving contrary thought systems that exist within us. He dissolves them by granting us scriptural revelation, sometimes times during, and other times after we have prayed.
I have come to realize that RIGHT PRAYERS are often hindered by WRONG THOUGHT SYSTEMS.
We will say right prayers and pray until God assure us of victory, then we move on with a thought system that will not allow what God has released to manifest in our lives! This is the dilemma of many in the faith today. It is the reason for frustrations after long effective prayers. That is why we need teachers of the word; men and women with a God given grace to dissolve the contrary thought system in our souls.
I have also come to realize that when God move to demolish contrary thought systems through teachings – I mean sound doctrine and impartation of insights; we resist Him by listening but not internalizing and applying what He we have been taught.
Thought systems are demolished by listening, internalizing and applying what we hear to our lives. If we listen but refuse to internalize, especially through constant meditation and proper application of whatever we are meditating upon, we will never be able to make decisions that will change our lives!
We will remain in decisions that keep a man’s life in rubbles despite prayers. The truth is, whatever God wants our lives to be, there is set of knowledge to go after so that our thought systems can be aligned for us to become that thing.
IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE, THOUGHT SYSTEM ARE WEAPONS OF WAR.
If the devil wants to kill you, he will send a thought system into your soul that will do the job. He will not come by himself. And if God want to save you, He will also send a thought system that will do the job. He may not come by Himself.
He said in His word;
“And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. “Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the Lord,…. Jeremiah 3:15-16 NKJV
God will always send a thought system by the hand of His appointed men to change your life. That is why when they come, they feed us with knowledge and understanding with the aim of forming thought systems within us that will lead to multiplication and increase.
Now, these kinds of shepherds do not feed us with knowledge from the doctrines of devils. If they do, our devotional text made it clear that we will depart from the faith.
The text says;
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,”
When you listen to doctrines of devils, you develop thoughts systems that makes you depart from the faith. Some of them will tell you “we are all sinners. We are humans and make mistakes” that is after behaving like a demon and seeing nothing wrong with it.
NO ONE WILL EVER LIVE A RIGHT CHRISTIAN LIFE LISTENING TO A WRONG DOCTRINE.
A wrong doctrine will form the wrong thought system within you and destroy your life. The thought systems developed from doctrines of devils are the very things that keep men fighting devils day and night, and giving money to preachers to save their lives.
So many have been destroyed by wrong thought systems formed in them because they gave heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of devils.
Sometimes you try to help them but you can’t because the thought systems are too strong in them – they have become an integral part of their lives. Pulling it down have become near impossible even if they sit under the doctrine of Christ!
Why are thought systems so powerful? They are responsible for every decision we make in life, and it is our decisions that determine our destination.
For instance, a man will remain in lack and poverty until he starts making the right decisions not just praying the right prayers. Right prayer plus wrong decisions equal no prayer! It brings no other result in our lives other than frustration.
Until right prayers match right decisions you will never depart from the pools of lack, debts, poverty or frustration in life. You will never depart from the valley of achor.
As we bring this to a close, I want to reiterate again that we make decisions in life based on our thought systems within us. Thoughts systems are formed by the words we give our attention to over time. Everything falls back to what we heed. That is why when God want to change our lives, He will begin by changing what we hear or give our attention to.
The essence of the ministry of shepherds after God’s heart is to feed us with the knowledge that will form within us the thought systems that will change our lives. This knowledge is not acquired in Ivory Towers but in the School of the Spirit. The knowledge is called “THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY ONE.”
I make bold to say the Cry of the Spirit Ministries is one of the places on earth God use in changing our thought systems to align with His will and ways so that He can have His way in our lives. It is place where THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOLY ONE is the curriculum. We only need to spend our days internalizing what we are being thought until our thought systems change.
The knowledge of the Holy One will give US THE THOUGHT SYSTEM OF THE HOLY ONE. With the thought systems of the Holy One within us, we will never fail to have the manifestation of His works in our lives.
I believe the message of today’s devotional has been passed! If you allow it to find a resting place in your heart, you will begin a journey that will change your life for good.
