TODAY’S DEVOTION (Tuesday 4TH January 2022)
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 4TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE
The LORD our God has loaded us with benefits for 3 days of this year already. We should not take it for granted. For me it is huge, because it tells me what to expect from Him the rest of the days of the year.
For these 3 to 4 days today, He has watched over us, provided for us, spoken to us, imparted His Spirit into us and done so wonders in our lives. Sleeping and waking up alone is a wonder. There are other kinds of miracles apart from that of sleeping and waking up that we are witnessing; especially in the area of finance.
Already, reports of wonderful testimonies of Amazing Grace Miracles have started coming to me from the Disciples of Christ placed under my watch by the LORD; the members of the Cry of the Spirit Ministries.
Indeed, the Year started well for us! And we believe it will end very well for us, because He who has started this good work in us will continue it to the end.
Above all, the LORD has used us to our amazement, considering how unqualified we are. He has used our lives to show that Heaven does not choose the qualified. Heaven qualifies the chosen with the instrumentality of God’s grace. Just within 3 to 4 days of the year.
Like I said yesterday, I am confident that this is the pattern we will keep witnessing each day of the year if we continue walking in His ways.
God has a word for us today and I believe it will change us.
To start with, I want to say, my primary apostolic mandate and the primary boundaries of my calling falls within the Body of Christ, and you will agree with me that the body of Christ no longer need shallow rooted sermons or write ups.
She needs, the deep things of God that can only be revealed by comparing spiritual things with spiritual!
THESE ARE NOT DAYS OF EMPTY OR MONEY-MAKING SERMONS.
God is washing us with the water of His word, and the water must be pure, strong, effective for removing spots and wrinkles and life giving; getting the bride ready for the groom.
Yes, it must be things that eyes have not seen, ears heard or hearts conceived from the word; products of the revelation of the Holy Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
The Bible says;
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV
I believe strongly that our church generation is yet to see the full manifestation of the potentials of God’s presence – His glory.
There are things prepared for us before the foundation of the world – things that eyes have not seen, ears heard or hearts conceive.
These things are things which the Holy Ghost teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Our generation must rise beyond the status quo and begin to search for these things and seek them with the whole of our hearts, our souls and our might!
We must dig the wells in God’s glory and unlock these things on the face of the earth!
Sadly, we have seen miracles, signs and wonders in some quarters, but most local Churches are just dry of significant moves of God, and they do not care. While many others have been plugged to the demonic through the diviners and the sorcerer, they call prophets in God’s garments.
But God spoke us strongly on Sunday that time has come to be saying unto these charlatans, “STEP ASIDE!” So many lives have been messed up and things are not spiritually good with so many.
Our generation must rise up with the banner of truth and begin to defend their souls form the hands of these invaders going about as men and women of God.
WE MUST STOP BEING GULLIBLE AND NAÏVE.
The sons of light must begin to give adequate response to these pulpit bandits. We must yield to the LORD, and let Him build His church through us by once again by entering their assemblies and turning the table of the money changers (who are presenting themselves as world changers) with a decree that says;
“my House is a house of prayers but you have turned it to a den of thieves”
The phrase “House of Prayer” does not mean a place where only prayers are made. It means a place where hearts of men are connected to the heart of God. And these can be through prayer, singing and sound teachings.
Meaning, the vision of a preacher should be to connect hearts to God not to remove money from pockets, or empty bank accounts with promises of God’s blessings.
With the presence of owner of the Church in our lives, I believe the earth will see more responses from God through the Sons of light this year; responses geared at rendering the army of charlatans impotent. There are key Bible prophecies that will be fulfilled from this year as never before. One of them says;
“And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers, against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, and against those who turn away an alien — because they do not fear Me,” Says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:5 NKJV
Our generation will witness great glory by the release of the fullness of God’s presence to neutralize falsehood in the body of Christ and establish our faith on higher spiritual truths. Yes, get ready for a ride with the LORD, if you are a genuine seeker of GOD.
Now, talking about God’s presence, our devotional text said,
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF GOD’S PRESENCE
There are degrees God announces His presence in our lives or in a Church meeting, if that place is a genuine house of prayer (place where hearts are truly connected to the heart of GOD). It all depends on how much the preacher Heading the ministry or the person leading the service has died to things like carnal cravings, self, sinful tendencies, satanic tendencies, influences of this world, or the works of the flesh.
The more we die to the sinful or earthly, the more of God’s presence we see! In other words, when we decrease, He increases!
When we die to these things, His presence increases in our lives. We do not give money to a preacher to achieve that. We lay our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to GOD to achieve higher levels of God’s presence in our lives.
It is through dying that we activate the potentials of God’s presence, and move to higher degrees of it.
Paul said I die daily, that was why He saw the full manifestation of God’s presence in His life and ministry every day. If you are not seeing the manifestation of the presence of God in your life, family or ministry daily, you are not dying daily. You are living – you are alive to sinful tendencies and all that do not allow more of God to rest upon a man.
Yes, you are living up to the flesh and responding to it without compromise!
The first degree or level of God’s presence we can experience when we die to these things is the omnipresence of God. The Omni presence of God is everywhere but His manifest presence is not everywhere. It can only be found where men have died to things – especially the things earlier stated.
No dying means no manifestation of the manifest presence of GOD; no manifestation of His Chabod, leading to Ichabod; meaning, no glory. Less dying means less manifestation of the manifest presence of God; leading to limited victories and success in life.
More dying means more manifestation of the manifest presence of God in our lives leading to amazing acts of God in our lives.
GOD IS A JUST GOD! HE WILL NOT GIVE US WHAT WE HAVE NOT DIED FOR!
If we therefore want to see greater manifestation of God in our lives, Churches, or families we must be ready for greater level of dying, because
“except a seed of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone.”
The first level of dying is 30-fold. This one will produce faith in your life. Without faith you cannot unlock things in the spirit.
You cannot access miracles, blessings, or covenant moves of God. 30-fold dying will unleash a miracle working mountain moving faith in your life. The kind of faith that made Joshua to speak to the Sun; do not forget the Sun is millions of miles away and yet the voice of Joshua got to its ears. Such faith cannot spring up in us while we have not died to things.
Do not forget that Faith is the currency of the spirit. That was what David used to bring the gains down. By it the elders obtained good testimonies. A lot of things can be done by faith, but just as money cannot buy everything in the natural plane so do faith has its own limitations too. People who are deep with God will understand me.
That is why many have believed God for certain things and they never came. God knows this and has something that connect our faith to do what faith alone cannot do. It is called the anointing.
That brings us to another level of dying; the 60-fold level. When your faith no longer works, God is calling you to higher level of dying so that you connect what God has ordain to add efficacy to our faith – the anointing!
Sadly, the Church preaches people to live weak “lives” instead of to die for this level of the supernatural to break forth in their lives, especially when their faith has failed. People are made to start building their failed faith in the wisdom of men instead of the power of GOD.
I have come to discover that there are battles that are for the anointing, just as they are battle that are for our faith to deal with. The battles that are for the anointing will require that we stand on a spiritual platform of faith and the anointing to deal with them.
THE ANOINTING BECOMES A COMPANION OF FAITH WHEN FAITH ALONE CAN NOT DO A JOB.
But you must increase your dying to things to get to that degree of power with God.
People who want to operate the anointing without dying to things will end up with the anointing of the anointed cherub; the will end up engaging the demon of deliverance revealed by the LORD in the Book of Matthew. They will be limited to the anointing oil because most about this demon is dispensed through the anointing oil.
Because of the desire for the anointing without a desire to get it through dying to the things mentioned earlier, there is false anointing in Church today, running the lives of many people. These false anointing shows them visions and gives them dreams that even paints God true messengers as false and devilish. They do that to prevent the false ones from being exposed; they make the exposure of falsehood by the Spirit of prophecy, the testimony of Jesus Christ, look like a smear campaign.
This is where you will need the Spirit of Truth to guide you because most of what you call the anointing today is actually what annoys the Holy Ghost!
The last level of dying is 100-fold. This is the level that will plug you into the greatest stream of the supernatural called the glory. This is the realm that most people in the present Church are yet to come into. A lot of us are stuck to the anointing and have not really seen the glory.
God wants us to get to the glory because, like I have always said, the anointing can be counterfeited but the glory cannot be counterfeit.
The end time Church is a Church that will operate under the glory not just the anointing! The glory is the fullness of God’s presence on display It does not manifest until our lives are in order. But the anointing will manifest even when lives are not in order. That is where many who live in sin but walk in the supernatural are deceived.
They take the manifestation of the anointing as proof that what they may be doing wrong is not really wrong in God’s sight. Well, they are not the first to do this because Judas Iscariot was the first. Sadly, he walked in the anointing but lost his soul to hell.
MAY THAT NOT BE SAID OF US!
Jesus said not everyone who operates in the supernatural will make Heaven (Read Matthew 7:15-23). A pastor who sleeps around, walks in deceit, and do all manner of evils can still carry the anointing of God for a while but can never carry the glory for a second because it will kill him.
The reason God allows the anointing to rest on him is so that it can convict him of his sins and teach him to return to righteousness. But most do not! They just treat it as a catalyst of lasciviousness. They use it as an empowerment for a life of sin; defeating its purpose.
When men of God are not in order, they may operate in the anointing but to come into the glory, they must be in order because when the glory shows up, everything not in order will be judged.
Don’t forget how Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 died.
The church then was under the glory not the anointing, that was why they were judged. The only part of the glory that does not judge is the transformation glory, which comes to turn a sinner into a saint. It gives us new hearts and new spirits and writes the words of the LORD in our hearts.
I believe the message of today has been passed. I admonish that we walk in it’s light and get to greater dimensions and degrees of God’s presence that awaits us in Christ this year!
I admonish that we use the revelation and start dying to things so that our lives will not be alone; that is without God manifest presence in this case.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
“He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:24-25 NKJV
