TODAY’S DEVOTION (Tuesday 1ST February 2022)
“ And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.”
And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.” Genesis 4:25-26 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 32ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. It’s a new month hence a new season for someone holding this word of truth. God has kept us, He has watched over us and has done so much that our mouths cannot explain in details. To Him belong the glory!
Daily the LORD loads His own with benefits. One may say everyone is God’s own, but the Bible says God alone knows who are His own. Meaning, some are not His own! Those who are His are known by two things; they have genuine intimacy with the LORD and they know how to swiftly departure from iniquity. Hence, they do not live a life of sin even if they become weary and exposed and fall into it sometimes. The Bible says;
“ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of ]Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19 NKJV
It is a breed that indeed knows how to depart from iniquity, not how to call it their weakness and all that. They are the ones who belong to the LORD; the wheat that most times finds itself among tares.
Beautifully, God is separating His wheat from tares Churches and gathering them together in wheat Churches so that they will not be polluted and corrupted by the tares the enemy plants around. This devotional is for the wheat(s) of the LORD, not the tares of the evil pones who call themselves Christians or preachers.
God primarily sent us to his wheat not the tares; He raise us to expose the activities of the tares and how they are destroying His wheat. That is why they tares hates us when we expose their works among the wheat. They call us names for that, and we do not care because all our fathers who carried out similar assignment where called names.
GET READY FOR GOD THIS MONTH!
I believe this month, being a 28-day month, is going to deliver a twenty-eight days of word fire for someone whose hearts is ready for more of God; someone who wants to get his or her prayer fire back so that they begin to enjoy more of GOD.
You cannot have more of God until your prayer life is burning with the prayer fire of righteous prayers. It is through righteous prayers we penetrate the Heavenlies and enter the Throne Room of God. When you get into the Throne Room you begin to find a peg in the Holy Place and enjoy more of God.
That is why Throne Room Christians do not suffer defeat in the hands of their enemies. Where they live from makes it impossible for the enemy to put them under wraps. It makes it impossible for the enemy to deceive them. It makes it impossible for them to do anything outside God’s will. They experience more of God and move in the Kingdom, power and glory of God.
You cannot place a curse on the live of Throne Room Christians. In fact, your curse returns back to you whenever you try to curse them. In some respect, Israel was a prototype of Throne Room Christians when Moses led them through the Wilderness. The Bible says,
“When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, And Israel His dominion. The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back.” Psalm 114:1-3 NKJV
If you are wondering what the sea saw, let me tell you. It saw a people God sat on, something it had never seen before, and fled! That is one of the Characteristics of Throne Room Christians. They carry what if their enemies see, they flee from them. Sometimes they flee, calling them names and screaming blasphemies.
God does not want us fighting our enemies like junior officers in the army. Well there could be periods of fighting them like that, but the ultimate of God for us is to bring us to the place of “no contest” in the spirit realm.
A PLACE WHERE THEY FLEE WHEN THEY SEE US!
Yes, God wants us to live in realms where our enemies will flee when they see us, and that can only happen when His presence sits upon our lives perpetually not when we carry mediums like witch doctors.
When it comes to enemy matters today, a lot of Christians and preachers are just witch doctors and idol worshipers. They become apostle and prophets of darkness who use mediums to covey the supernatural.
Any supernatural that you see preachers conveying through mediums today, is that of the antichrist. God used Medium in time past because of the dispensation, and because the people then needed that. He told Moses to use the rod and the Oil. He even told him to sprinkle blood and water at one time. That was then! That was a season for the Mosaic moves of GOD.
But now we are under Christ not under Moses, if you use the mediums Moses used, or even manufacture yours, you key into sorcery or divination without knowing. Satan always use what God has used and abandoned to do his work and to fulfill his eternal desire to be like GOD. Do not forget that, do not mix it up!
God wants our enemies to see us and flee, not because of some mediums we may be using but for His presence that sits upon our lives! Hallelujah!
Such dimensions cannot happen when we carry anointing oil in bottles instead of the Holy Spirit in our lives. They cannot not happen when we carry holy water in bottles instead of God’s Holy nature in our lives. They do not happen when we raise what the scammers you call prophets, apostle and etc. call altars of sacrifice, instead of offering our bodies as living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to GOD, thereby becoming God’s altars on earth.
Israel did not carry oil, water, salt, or raised altars when the sea saw them and fled. Moses had not even been told to build the ark then. God wanted to keep siting upon their lives and causing their enemies to flee, but when Aaron misled them to serve other gods in the wilderness, while Moses was away, and allowed deception to set in (a prototype of the antichrist), mediums were temporary introduced by GOD, with the aim of removing them in Christ. That is why the Bible says;
“But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 2 Corinthians 3:14-16 NKJV
THE DECEPTION THAT CAME BY THE HANDS OF AARON BLINDFOLDED THEM.
Sadly, the same blindfold is in the hearts of all lost souls because of idolatry. But until we turn to the LORD, the veil will remain, and we will keep worshiping God using mediums.
Yes, we will keep using anointing oil instead of walking in the Spirit of Truth, we will keep using holy water, and not see the need for the replacement of the Holy water with God’s holy nature through genuine salvation experience. We will keep using all kinds of mediums in the guise of helping people to unlock their faith.
Yes, we will never come into the fullness that allows our enemies to see us and run away without us saying or doing anything. We will never be able to constantly lead lives that allows the presence of God to sit or abide in our lives, to cause the enemy to tremble and flee before us. Our mountains will keep starring at us, and our Jordan not turning back so that we cross into our destinies. Life will just be full of misery! The Bible says;
“What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs?
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters. Psalm 114:5-8 NKJV
Clearly this scripture tells us what God designed and planned for us so long as dealing with our enemies is concerned. It tells us where the LORD wants us to come into so long as our walk and talk with Him is concerned. But none of that is possible if we do not move from the kind of Christianity, we lead today to Christianity from the Throne Room.
I CALL IT “THRONE ROOM CHRISTIANITY.”
Throne Room Christianity is a Christianity live from what happens in the Throne Room of God as documented in Scriptures. It is a Christianity from the Throne Room of God, filtered through the verses of the Bible.
It has everything to do with what the Holy Spirit Teachers in scriptures right from the Throne Room of God. However, the gateway to this realm can only be found through righteous prayers. Men must begin to call upon the name of the LORD for them to become part of God’s Throne Room on earth. Our devotional text says;
“ And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed. And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.”
A Child was born, and men began to call upon the name of the LORD. That was not an ordinary child. That must be a child that stirred up the Spirit of Righteous Prayers in that generation.
The question now is, were men not praying before then? I believe they were, but they must have been calling upon other names.
Don’t forget Cain, had killed Abel and birth a generation outside the presence of God. And they had invented so much to help themselves because they were born in a realm where the presence of God that was giving them all they needed was non-existent.
One of Cain’s grand child would later marry two women not for fun or riches but to solve a marital problem outside God’s presence.
They forgot that marriage was created in God’s presence. If you try to enter into it outside God’s presence, you will have problems. And if you try to solve the problems, you will end up either destroying God’s marital plan for your life or for others, or even distorting His marital pattern for mankind like many have done today!
If you look at many today, they try to live their lives outside God’s active presence, hence having very terrible problems. God created fishes to survive in water, so did He create mankind to survive in His Presence. What water is to aquatics, is what God’s presence is to man. That is why, if we do not prioritize God’s presence above all other things in our lives, we will always have miserable lives.
SO, WHEN THAT CHILD WAS BORN, MEN BEGAN TO CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD, AND THE THRONE OF GOD BEGAN TO INTERVENE IN HUMAN ACTIVITIES.
People began to have access to the active presence of God again; they began to live from the Throne Room of Godlike Adam did. It all began through righteous prayers! It is your turn to come into the realm of Righteous prayers and begin to live your Christian life from the throne room of God!
You see, God answer prayers but not all kinds of prayers. Do not allow anyone deceive you about that.
Prayers can bring us to God’s Throne Room but not all kinds of prayers do that. As someone who have been part of prayer moves for years, I can tell you that there are prayers God do not answer, He just destroy them as soon they come out of mouths.
The reason is, prayer is a spiritual transaction that involves two realms of the spirit. If it’s coming from an ignorant heart or a heart not totally yielded to God, it can be used by the enemy to destroy lives or stop God’s programs. God will have to destroy such prayers before they cause any destruction.
Where is that in the Bible, you may ask? I will show you tomorrow!
For now, just know that GOD needs you in the Throne Room. But you cannot get there without the fire of righteous prayers. With the fire of righteous prayers, you can break through the shell of the flesh, by pass the carnal realm of prayers, and come into the Spirit realm where the impossible is made possible, and the demonic neutralized by the divine.
Make this 28-day month a season of either getting back, or increasing your prayer fire! God is here to help you because He needs you up there where you can fly through life on the wings of His power, not down there where life is full of struggles.
