TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 15TH February 2022)
Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain.
Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD had not spoken.
The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.
So, I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 22:26-31 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 46TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF AMAZING GRACE
His amazing grace is the key to our amazing safety and survival. He has been our sustainer like we started in our new program on the Morning Cloud Tv, the Sustainer. God takes His own from glory to glory. I believe there is another glory awaiting us through the call to be sustainers.
One of the best ways to enjoy the most of our sustainer is to operate on earth as sustainers. He sustains all through Jesus Christ, while we sustain His redemptive plans through His Holy Spirit.
There is a dimension of prayer that can never come out of us until we become sustainers. There are commitments to His course that will never come out of us until we find redemptive things of Heaven to sustain on earth. Heaven depends on sustainers to move redemptive purposes forward, and perpetuate them from generation to generation.
If you look at our devotional text this morning with the eyes of the Spirit, you will realize what sustainers are needed today; people who will sustain God’s righteous purposes. The gross darkness in nations and churches that are supposed to bring the light of Christ is puzzling.
There is the gross darkness of false prophets who use their influences to build defense systems to cover their exposed sins and wickedness. There is the gross of darkness of false gospel ministries being accepted as true.
There is the gross darkness of politicians ripping the destinies of men and women. Sadly, the voice of the LORD in church that was suppose to cry against their activities have been silence with largess from the politicians to the preachers, who many take as spiritual fathers.
Their so-called spiritual fathers have become spiritual fathers of darkness and activators of the satanic. Because when a spiritual father who was supposed to know these things and guide us now walk in greed and covetousness, what hope has the next generation? None!
THESE SO-CALLED FATHERS TAKE THE MONEY POLITICIANS RUSH TO THEM IN CHURCH AS BREAKTHROUGHS AND PROSPERITY.
They take the cars they buy for them and lands they give them as increase from the LORD. But in their spiritual blindness, they do not know that the gifts are to silence their voices and make sure they lack the integrity to shout the politicians down and out of immorality and wickedness when they begin to lead their nations astray.
Can God really find a sustainer of righteousness among these so-called spiritual fathers? Can GOD find someone among them who can look at these satanic politicians face to face and say “This says the LORD?”. I doubt, they have all being silenced.
They were supposed to be God’s watchmen in Zion, but they are not. They have become the watchmen of Babylon and the spirit of lawlessness in Zion.
They watch against anything and anyone who will lift up his voice against Babylon, the spirit of wickedness and the activities of the satanic politician to move against the person or people on behalf of the politicians whose monies they have collected. The watch to prosper the works of sin with the “we are all sinners mantra” instead of watching to diminish it with the roar of the LORD that calls for holiness.
The Bible describe them as blind and ignorant. It says they love to sleep spiritually and slumber on the beds of their ecclesiastical honor. God called them dogs who cannot bark. If you doubt me, here is it in the Bible;
“His watchmen are blind, they are all ignorant; They are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.” Isaiah 56:10 NKJV
Those who accuse us of using foul language should also accuse God of same. If GOD used what the sick church and the dying world call foul language in Bible days, to deal with the forces of darkness in Israel, don’t you think those He will use to shout against wickedness in the church this hour will do the same?
What you call foul language has delivered so many people from the grip of the wicked. It is their deliverance Satan reacts to be using some in church to shut us down through the foul language usage accusations. Since we are not doing it in the flesh, we will never stop. Jeremiah said even if I do not want to say it, His word was like fire in my bones (spirit), making me to spew it out the way it is.
WHEN THE WORD OF THE LORD IS LIKE FIRE IN YOUR BONES, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH.
Again, the question is, can God find a sustainer of righteousness among the present-day spiritual fathers? God never allowed His priests or prophets to collect largess from politicians in the days of our Fathers, why would He allow that to happen in our days?
Obviously, so many have become like Balaam that is why the eternal purpose of God in time are being hindered. If you think that we will all become dumb dogs without a bark, forget it, God still have a remnant. You can become part of the remnant.
Yes, you can! You only need to become intimate with Him, so that He begin to pour Himself into you, get His word like fire in your bones, and use you to prophesy against the perverted shepherds and priests like He did Ezekiel, Jeremiah and the rest of our fathers.
A Major highlight in our devotional text says;
“The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. So, I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”
Will you be that man or woman God can use to stop the oppression and robbery being committed in our Churches? Will you be that sustainer of righteous the LORD desperately needs in this hour? Will you shake off the dust of personal sins, fear and spiritual laziness and come up to the mountain of the Spirit where sustainers are processed to stand in the gap for redemptive purposes?
There was no one who was willing and ready in Sodom and Gomorrah in their day of mercy, that was why they all perished.
I believe when Abraham met the LORD to asked for intervention for the lives in that place, it was the day of mercy for Sodom and Gomorrah. He knew what will make God intervene; the presence of a sustainer. But they could find none. The Bible says;
“And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
So the LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”
Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?”
So, He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.” And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?” So, He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”
Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?” So, He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?” So, He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”
Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”
And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the LORD went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place. Genesis 18:23-32 NKJV
OBVIOUSLY, ABRAHAM AND GOD WERE LOOKING FOR SUSTAINERS IN THE PATHETIC STORY OF.
They were looking for righteous men and women to use in restraining the approaching judgment and sustaining righteousness in the LAND. Sadly, they could not even find ten sustainers in the land. That was why Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed. This story tells us how difficult it is to find sustainers, and why the enemy will not want them around.
The ministry of sustainers is one major ministry that we need today. We have the ministry of prophets, and all kinds of prayer contractors that are not needed, so long as God’s eternal plans for mankind is concern; we do not have people who are dedicated to fighting and sacrificing like Paul to sustain God’s true work; the work of preserving souls for eternal life.
God’s mercies are everlasting to everlasting. They are always available. But many of us do not know about instruments of God’s mercies. People who have responded to the call to be sustainers are God’s instrument of mercy. They are the vessels God uses to either delay or eliminate approaching judgments.
We can go on and on but this is a devotional. It’s been 28-Days Journey of righteous prayers and I believe God want to raise people who will sustain His things on the prayer knee also. Something Kingdom purposes are sustained by prayers, other times they are sustained by provisions.
If you apply prayers where you need to apply provisions, you destroy them. If you also apply provisions when you need to apply prayers you also destroy them.
As we bring this to a close, I want to submit that I believe we are in days of mercy, to restrain the judgment God promised to begin in His house, that is why sustainers are needed. People who will sustain righteousness with their lives; their character, monies, talents, interpersonal relationships, prayer knee and etc. May God find us worthy like He found Abraham worthy!
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY
Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way.
And the LORD said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”
And the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” Genesis 18:16-21 NKJV
