TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 5TH FEBRUARY 2023)
“Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:19-22 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 36TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS!
It is 36 days already, and we give God the glory for all He is doing in our lives. We begin another week today in His mercies, and we are glad to begin it on the day of appearance.
I hope you are ready for our service today? It is an international broadcast service. You can follow us from anywhere in the world through any of our social media platforms. God is Spirit, they that worship Him do so in spirit and in truth, making distance irrelevant most of the times.
He can use the power of sight and sound, to reach you with the best of Heaven for your eternal life on earth, if your heart is ready. Today is the 5th day of our 28-day journey of faith on supernatural living. We are still going to build on the kingdom secret on supernatural living in GOD, consecration. Like we saw yesterday, the supernatural we see in Church today is faulty, if we place it side by side with what our Bible fathers walked in, especially in the early Church.
If we place it side by side what they walked in, we will realize that most of what we have today is the supernatural of the devil. I call it “dark supernatural,” because most of it now is tie to money, money, money. People tap into it by giving sacrificially to certain preachers.
But every page of the lives of our fathers, and all who are now part of the cloud of many witnesses, proves that the supernatural of God cannot be tapped into with money. It is the supernatural of the devil, the dark supernatural, that men tap into, using the money or prophetic acts, that the prophets, or preachers, who function as the oracles of the gods, that control such supernatural powers, ask them to give or perform.
PETER SAID TO THE FIRST PERSON, WHO ATTEMPTED TO TAP INTO THE SUPERNATURAL OF GOD, USING MONEY;
“Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.
Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” Acts 8:20-23 NKJV
The details of this rebuke, tells us that, the only way we tap into the supernatural of God, is through consecration. The Bible says, “blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). If you are pure at heart, there will be purity in your life. In simple terms, you will lead a pure life, and see or experience the supernatural of GOD every day.
You cannot be filthy in your live, and walk in the supernatural of God. Whenever you attempt supernatural living with a filthy life, or with a wicked and an unforgiving heart, you will always walk in the dark supernatural. That is one of the reasons why Jesus said;
“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Matthew 5:23-24 NKJV
Bringing your gift to the altar of GOD to offer it to Him in worship, is one way of attempting to touch the supernatural of GOD. The gift within context is not always money, but a life dedicated to the LORD. The supernatural of GOD will resist you, if you attempt to do it with an impure heart. And when that happens, the dark supernatural will touch you in place of GOD.
This scripture points out to the fact that, you do not attempt the supernatural of GOD with a hateful heart. You will touch the dark supernatural without knowing. That is how many spiritual people, unlock the dark supernatural, for not walking in love towards those who offended them and repents, or those who needs their mercy to survive.
THE WORD MAKES IT CLEAR THAT THE HEART MUST BE PURE, LOVING, KIND, MERCIFUL, AND GODLY, FOR OUR LIVES TO TOUCH THE SUPERNATURAL OF GOD.
Anything outside that will result in the manifestation of the supernatural of the devil. The purity of heart and life, that is required to walk in the supernatural of GOD, comes through consecration after salvation.
Yes, there is consecration after salvation experience. If you do not embrace it, not only would you not walk in the supernatural of God, there are chances that you will lose your salvation. Our devotional text says;

This scripture, like many others in the Bible, speak of a life of consecration that must be embraced, after a salvation decision or encounter. Failure to do so, will result in the shipwreck of faith, and if you attempt the supernatural that way, you will end up with the dark supernatural.
The word says,
“Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.”
There is a cleansing of self that we are to be doing on daily bases, after salvation, using the grace of God upon our lives. We cleanse ourselves by obeying the Truth without compromise. That is the consecration that we are called into. Any supernatural in manifestation that is not steaming from that consecration, is of the devil.
I WANT TO ADMONISH US TO BE CAREFUL WHEN OUR LIVES ARE FULL OF WONDERS AND SCANDALS.
Yes, we should be careful when we are living filthy lives, yet enjoying miracles, and walking in the supernatural, at the same time. No men in the cloud of many witnesses, ever lived filthy lives and experienced the supernatural of God, while they were here on earth, and they are our roots. None bowed to gods and live in the supernatural of God.
Samson lost it as soon as he touched the unclean. If your pastor, prophet, apostle, or prayer partner is still having it after touching the unclean unrepentant, then there is a problem.
Sadly, you find so many preachers and their church members today, bowing to the gods of sex, fortress, riches, and touching all kinds of filthiness, and still walking in power and miracles. That is not the supernatural of God, that is the dark supernatural.
It is not possible to be touching filthy things repentantly, and be walking in the supernatural of GOD. One of the men in the clouds of many witnesses, whose life tells us of this truth, is Paul. He spoke about how Satan comes to church, to unleash his version of the supernatural, using desecrated Christian lives in leadership positions.
He knew how easy it is to touch the dark supernatural living a filthy life, and attempting to walk in miracles. Consequently, leading a life of deep consecration after salvation. He would later write to the Church at Corinth, saying;
“Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27 NKJV
Consecration after salvation entails, that we put our bodies, or carnal natures (flesh) under subjection, so that after we have declared that we are saved, we will not be cast away on the last day.
IF WE DO NOT, WE WILL BE WALKING IN THE DARK SUPERNATURAL, WHENEVER WE PRAY OR FAST, AND TAKING IT TO BE GOD.
Friend, Satan hates us consecrating after salvation, hence empowering ignorant people to spread that, once you are saved, you are forever saved. The heresy is to hinder us from living consecrated lives after salvation, and he has succeeded doing so in the lives of many.
Understand that, the evil one wants us back in his kingdom by default, after saying we are saved. The strategy is, not to stop us from doing our church things, preaching our messages, giving or receiving tithes, being in ministry, and etc., but to stop us from doing all that, living the sanctified life that we are called to live.
Yes, the idea is not to stop us from participating in church or ministry activities, but to stop us from walking in the ways of the LORD, despite our participation; it is to make sure we are going to church, and doing all the religious things we are told to do, but with our backs turned against the commandments of GOD. Peter puts it this way;
“For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.” 2 Peter 2:20-21 NKJV
This is a terrible strategy that have been working for Satan generationally.
It is the real generational curse that the church does not know. That is why we have so many of us, professing to know GOD with our mouths, but not living Godly lives to match. Supernatural living in God is not possible with that kind of life. It is supernatural living in Satan that is possible that way!
The message today is, if you want to live GOD’s kind of supernatural life, embrace a life of consecration after salvation. Let he that names the name of the LORD depart from iniquity. Let him use the grace of God upon his life, to cleanse himself from all filthiness of the spirit and the flesh.

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully.
