THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 1ST JUNE 2023)

“Of what use is money in the hand of a [self-confident] fool to buy skillful and godly Wisdom — when he has no understanding or heart for it?

A friend loves at all times, and is born, as is a brother, for adversity.” Proverbs 17:16-17 AMP

WELCOME TO THE 152ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS!

Welcome to the last month of the first half of the year. By the end of this month, we will be having a semi-cross over – it will be a cross over the last half of the year. I know a tent of robbers who will use it to milk money from God’s people. But sons of truth will not be caught in the web!

Friend, today is the first day of a new month – the sixth month of the year. Glory be to God for ushering us on Eagle Wings to it. Our God does miracles so great. There is no one like Him! We will ever remain grateful to Him for all He is doing in our lives.

As we enter into a new month, it’s important that we keep learning even through this platform as disciples of Christ.

The best partnership in the world is not a partnership with men but with God. If you partner with men, they will fail you. But if you partner with God, you will never be disappointed. Make this new month one of a better and more healthy partnership with the Holy Spirit, the third person in the trinity.

We are in days where only covenant children of God will survive the heat; when we say covenant children, we are referring to those who honor the name of the LORD they carry by departing from iniquity and being intimate with Christ. It is only on the platform of the covenant that you can experience the Kingdom, the power, and the glory that Heaven releases when the covenant-keeping God meets a covenant-keeping people.

Now, because the GOD we are dealing with, does not dwell in time, but lives in eternity, we will need truth to walk with Him profitably. This month, we want to look at matters of divine destiny.

For those who are familiar with the word of the LORD on our lips, this is one contemplation that we love looking at again and again under this mantle. This month, we want to refresh our hearts on things that our divine destiny will need to be fulfilled. One of the major things is destiny partners.

Yes, as we can see in the devotional text, your divine destiny will need a destiny partner to be fulfilled.

SO, WE WANT TO REFRESH OUR HEARTS ON THE MYSTERIES OF DESTINY PARTNERS.

By tomorrow we will be looking at the mystery of prophetic midwives. But destiny partners are not prophetic midwives. Prophetic midwives are people we need to submit to, and sometimes serve, in order to enter into our territories – the men or women are at a higher level. They are not partners, per se; they are more than partners.

They are people God has graced to be used by Him to lift us up, most times beyond them.

Though teachings like these, have been tools of manipulation in so many local churches. They have been used to keep people attached to terrible churches and to make them believe that their destinies are in certain places, or with certain people.

Your destiny is in God, not in any place or with any man. But God would have to use people to help you fulfill or unlock it. Such people are called destiny partners. When you find them, stay with them, by all righteous means. Do not allow conflict to tear you apart. Understand that, the fact that your destiny is not with any man does not mean you will not need men. You will need people to become a person.

However, that does not mean without the people, you can do nothing.

It only means with people, given to you by the LORD as destiny partners, you can become all God has called you to be. So, you will need to be humble and be of good attitude, so that God can use them to do something significant in your life, or with your life. Period!

Destiny partners are like help mates that could, or could not manifest in our lives as spouses, and there are different kinds of them. It is important that we know this wonderful set of Bible truths.

Truly, there are those God will bring into your life to be your life partner – husband or wife. Until you get married to them, you will not be able to unleash what God has called you to do on the face of the earth.

When you meet your destiny partner, Heaven will pour a measure of grace upon you to travel fast in life, and then arrive quickly at appointed places of destiny within a very short time. I am a witness.

BUT WHEN YOU TAKE ONE YOU THOUGHT WAS A DESTINY PARTNER, WHILE HE OR SHE WAS NOT, THE STORY WILL BE DIFFERENT.

Most times, it will take adversity to wake up your senses to know that you have just been with a death partner. The reason marriage has become a curse in the lives of many of our brethren in the body of Christ is simple; the majority are married to people who are not their destiny partners. They are married to death partners.

God did not create your marital life to be occupied by a man or woman who is not your destiny partner. If you erroneously give that holy place to the wrong person, you will live in hell all your life on earth.

Destiny partners also come as long-time friends – some call it “covenant friends.” Jonathan was a covenant friend and a destiny partner to David. His partnership saved David at one time from premature death. He pitched a tent with David when Saul his father wanted him dead. Your divine destiny will need such people to be fulfilled.

Sadly, the abominable gay guys in the church are selling a lie that David and Jonathan were homosexual partners. Sometimes I feel like weeping at the depravity of humanity. Hell awaits anyone who is depraved.

In God’s plan, David was to be king and Jonathan the second in command, that was the purpose of the destiny partnership. The extended vision of GOD was for both of them to work together, locate where the temple was to be built and build it. They were destiny partners, not homosexual partners.

You also find destiny partnerships in Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They were destiny partners while serving the eternal counsel of GOD in Babylon. It was their collective prayer at one time that saved the wise men of Babylon from execution. You will need to ask the LORD for such people in your life. It is not good to be alone!

The four of them generated a presence from Heaven, through corporate prayers, before Daniel could get to the realm of decoding the King’s dream.

A destiny partner will increase the presence of God in your life, and then help you walk accurately with Him! Sadly, many are clothed with friends who do not know how to support them to unleash their divine destiny.

IN SO MANY LOCAL CHURCHES, YOU FIND SOME PASTORS SURROUNDED BY MEMBERS WHO ARE PARASITES AND VERY UNKIND TO THEM.

You find incidents where such members come telling them stories to scoop money from them, but cannot do anything to support such men of God. And when the enemy is looking for who to use, they make themselves available. Others become weapons of adversity, instead of sons of peace around God’s servants. That is not the will of God.

Some seem anointed, to be creating adversity, and fraudulently becoming terrible plagues to the men and women of God on the frontlines of terrible spiritual battles. Some of these people can take care of themselves if they make themselves uncomfortable a bit, but they will not.

That explains why our father Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 5 that, people should not be a burden to a church when they can take care of themselves. Church members ought to be destiny partners to their pastors, not parasites. They ought to be like brothers born to extinguish adversity in the life of their man of God, who works tirelessly to build them in Christ.

Friend, every hard working preacher needs people who will serve as crisis extinguishers, around them, like a car needs a fire extinguisher! That is the truth. It is not just pastors that need it, every man or woman of destiny also needs it.

Personally, there have been so many times that by God’s grace, one has served as a crisis extinguisher for many. But at the same time, you can’t find one dependable person who can do the same for you. It is frustrating sometimes. It is frustrating to be surrounded by mostly selfish people who easily cave in, and will not offer you help when you need it.

We all need good men and women, who can be around us, serving as crisis extinguishers in our lives, even as we also serve as crisis extinguishers in their lives. A major highlight in our devotional text today says, “A friend loves at all times, and is born, as is a brother, for adversity.”

Destiny partners that come as covenant friends are basically placed in our lives as crisis extinguishers. They know how to help us quench the fires kindled in our lives.

What is the message this morning? What is the LORD saying to us on the first day of this sixth month of the year? The message is simple.
The message is this, “Ask me to give you destiny partners. You cannot unleash your divine destiny without them. You will need a destiny partner for a wife or husband, or a covenant friend.”

A MIRACLE CAN HAPPEN TO YOU THIS MONTH IF YOU PERSIST IN YOUR PRAYERS.

If you are a pastor, you will need destiny partners as church members.

God did not create a divine destiny that can be fulfilled without destiny partners. Your inner staff must be destiny partners or they will ruin your ministry. So many of us in God’s vineyard, have been ruined that way. Even Jesus was killed because of the work of one of his inner staff, called Judas. If he were a destiny partner, he would not have done that.

If you live a life without true friends or people sent to you by heaven, folks God raised to help you unleash your destiny, you will never fulfill God’s plans for your life. The Bible showed us the importance of destiny people in our lives from chapter to chapter.

Adam needed Eve, Daniel needed his three friends, and David needed Jonathan. There is someone you need. Ask the LORD to bring him or her into your life.

A destiny partner is that man or woman who has been predetermined by Heaven to be part of your life before you were born into this life or the Kingdom life. May the LORD locate them for you this new month. And when they come, may you not use wrong attitudes to push them away from your life in Jesus’ precious name! AMEN

There is something you must understand at this point! There is a flip side to this. If the devil wants to destroy you, he will plant one destiny destroyer in your life to destroy you. But if God wants to raise you, He will plant one destiny partner in your life to raise you.

God uses DESTINY PARTNERS to help His own unleash their destinies, and Satan uses DESTINY DESTROYERS to help God’s children defeat their destinies. Satan tried it in the life of Samson and other Bible Characters. He still does it even today.

It’s therefore important that you learn how-to walk-in discernment in the pursuit of your divine destiny. You can spend the first 3 or four days of this month, in fasting and prayer, asking the LORD to push your destroyers away from you and bring in your helpers.

It’s a new Day for you in Jesus’ precious name! AMEN!! Wishing you a blessed month, and a glorious walk and talk with God daily.

MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;

“Your sons shall make haste; your destroyers and those who laid you waste shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; all these gather together and come to you.”

As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does.

“For your waste and desolate places, and the land of your destruction, will even now be too small for the inhabitants; and those who swallowed you up will be far away” Isaiah 49:17-19 NKJV
