TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 26TH JULY 2023)**
“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say, “The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!” Isaiah 48:20 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 207TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
We bless the LORD our God for giving us this day. He has proved Himself beyond doubt that the plans He has for us are good and not evil. Keeping us alive even when we do not deserve it is enough proof.
May all honor, glory, and worship, from the depth of our being be His, forever and forever. May His ways be known in all the earth, and the knowledge of His glory fill our lives as the water covers the sea. Yes, if that happens, if the knowledge of His glory fills our lives as the waters cover the sea, there will be no darkness in our lives.
The Bible says God is light, in Him is no darkness at all. If there is no darkness at all in God, then there will be no darkness at all in your life if the knowledge of the glory of the LORD fills it as the water covers the sea.
That is one of the major reasons for discipleship; to bring us to the place, where the knowledge of the glory of the LORD will fill our lives, as the waters cover the seas, eliminating all forms of darkness within us. That is an ancient will of God, that has created an ancient path for the move of the Spirit in every age.
It may interest you to know that it’s been an ancient prophecy, to have the knowledge of the glory of the LORD fill the lives of earth men and women of every age, as the waters cover the sea. And discipleship is one of the major instruments for getting that done.
You can then understand why Jesus handed over discipling the nations, to His church as the assignment or purpose of gospel ministry. He said at the end of His earthly ministry, shortly before His ascension;
….“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV
If you look at this scripture and what many churchgoers are doing, it’s clear that everyone has become like sick people who do not know which hospital to go to for treatment and what treatment the Great Physician designed for them. Many do not know that Jesus did not suggest, “people praying for them” as the ultimate cure for all their life problems.
HE DESIGNED DISCIPLESHIP TO BE THE ULTIMATE CURE FOR THEIR LIFE PROBLEMS IN TIME.
The problem we have is, the church is filled with a good number of influential preachers who are putting on the Old Testament ministry fashion, like Moses did for Israel, and all that, without knowing that Christ has left that pattern.
That is why many now use dark powers or patterns to minister to people, because the ultimate power of God, Christ, will never be available to you if you do not embrace a pattern designed for that power (Which, according to the scriptures, is making people the disciples of Christ).
If you want to see deliverance today, if you want to experience GOD in your life, without raising altars of sacrifice, sowing seeds to any preachers, using oil, water, salt, or whatever in prayer, you must embrace discipleship. You must come out of Babylon Christianity and Churches and embrace Christ’s and His ways.
Our devotional text says;
“Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say, “The Lord has redeemed His servant Jacob!” Isaiah 48:20 NKJV
You must find a Church that will make you a disciple of Christ, not a Babylon church. There are so many Babylon Churches today. You must avoid them. No Babylon preacher will disciple you. They keep teaching you what sounds good and great, and administering what they call deliverance to you, but will never make you a disciple of Christ.
And until you become a disciple of Christ, you will keep having problems in your life, that they will keep using to make themselves relevant or rich. If you become a disciple of Christ, curses, demons, spiritual attacks, death and destruction, toiling and suffering, etc. will no longer follow you.
THE ONLY THINGS YOU WILL BE HAVING, ARE THE USUAL TESTS, TRIALS, AND TEMPTATIONS TYPICAL OF A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST.
You will never be restless, courtesy of demons. If fact, rest, blessings, steady progress, peace, and God’s marvelous presence will be following you. You will even become a deliverer in the hand of the LORD, instead of being the one seeking deliverance, like many believers today.
Jesus designed that all who follow Him, should not be the ones seeking deliverance. That was why everyone He found, He said to them*, “Follow me, and I will make you.”* He makes those who follow Him ministers of His Holy Spirit to others and just gives miracles to those who are not interested; who just want miracles.
In God’s plan, everyone who follows the LORD should be able to administer His Spirit to others; especially those in need of GOD in their lives; so that they can come into His rest for their lives. You see that in the life of the early Church in Acts. That was why signs and wonders followed them wherever they went, and that was why the powers of darkness of that age were shut down, leading to the great persecution.
When we administer the Spirit of God to others, signs and wonders will be following us. We will be shutting down dark powers in systems, cultures, traditions, and all that. But when we do not, suffering and misery and many other things will be following us, making us captives of preachers who use dark powers to administer deliverance.
The Bible says;
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; They will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
Meaning, if we can administer the Spirit of God to others, we will see demons or dark powers cast out of systems, traditions, families, businesses, people, places, and even governments. We will speak in new Heavenly tongues that bring salvation to the lost, neutralize serpentine systems, become immune to deadly things, and bring healing to a sick world.
Friend, these are the signs that should follow you as a Christian. If they are not following you, then you are not an active believer in Christ yet; you are not yet His disciple indeed. It is as simple as that.
God wants these signs and wonders to follow you. He never designed that you be the one following end times signs and wonders, the recovery of lost stars type, and all that – the very ones most preachers produce today. He designed that the signs and wonders stated above follow you.
The enemy of our soul will always do things to stop whatever God wants for His own. Today, he is spewing a lot of lying wonders by the hands of some preachers, who do not know some of the things we share here. He is influencing believers to be in a frenzy that is different from what Christ intended.
He is achieving that by using the wealth of many influential preachers to keep them ignorant of what GOD wants and using their blindness to influence many people to pursue miracles, signs, and wonders, instead of discipleship.
It is important to know that many great preachers of our days, men and women in Church, are unbelievably ignorant of many things Christ designed that we in ministry do.
You could misunderstand me and think am presenting myself better than others, but far be it from me. I am showing you realities that even some unbelievers and even Muslims who read the Bible have said. A lot of our spiritual papas are unbelievably ignorant of what Christ established His church to do on earth.
Sadly, the stench has gone into the nostrils of those we should lead to the LORD. They have established Babylon systems everywhere as Zion’s system; they make people assemble to golden calves’ systems of ministry, presented as “the god that brought you out of Egypt,” to many.
Christians who follow them have been reduced to bread on their tables. Believers who were supposed to be the ones administering the Spirit of God to the lost world are the ones queuing in different Churches and places of assemblies for deliverance.
These influential and respected men and women, follow the Old Testament and forget that none of the prophets of the Old Testament could disciple anyone to become a temple for God in the Spirit (our Ultimate assignment). It was not given to them.
IT WAS GIVEN TO THE EARLY CHURCH.
The young and upcoming must understand that since we carry the same mandate with the early Church, we must follow their pattern, and not the pattern of things copied from old testament practices that we see in the ministries of our influential spiritual fathers.
It is very sad to discover that, so many who are involved in Church or gospel ministry today, do not even know what it means to disciple people. That is why many are not reaping the full benefits of redemption. They have to give that, or this, for them to see the miracles or deliverances they need.
There is so much light that has been mixed with darkness in the present Church, because of that. A lot of occult ways and practices that have been accepted as God’s ways. People even fight to keep those dark ways and demonize whoever tells them the truth about the ways they so uphold as God’s.
Friend, your soul is too precious to Christ to be traded on the lust, kindness (which is just a tender mercy of the wicked), greed, covetousness, and ignorance of a preacher. This is the time to walk away from all that has the Babylon spirit, tradition, and systems. This is the time to come out of such places as our devotional text says.
You will never be a disciple of Christ in the wrong Church. You will only be a disciple or spiritual son or daughter of the preacher. I am not against spiritual sonship, so long as it is clean, pure, and has no witchcraft in it. It’s a requirement for many things in God’s kingdom.
I am just saying that it is better to be a disciple of Christ than a spiritual son or daughter of some famed preacher out there because most of them do not even know why Christ established the church. We see it in what they say or do. We see it in the way they pray or minister to people.
Except a preacher is a Son of Christ indeed, you will never be a disciple of Christ sitting under him or her.
What is the message of today? The message is simple, desire discipleship if you really want to make Heaven. Desire discipleship if you want to enjoy the best of Christ. Desire discipleship if you want to be free from the satanic, the demonic, or the occultic, without offering some sacrifice to a preacher out there, raising an altar, or doing one thing or the other you are asked to do.
Desire discipleship and nothing else if you want to be an active believer with signs following you.
Do not join a Church because of a job you have been offered by someone who worships there if that Church will not make you a disciple of Christ. In fact, no human generosity should make you join any church. Becoming a disciple of Christ should be your reason for joining any church.
Finally, let me say this, if God blesses you with two gifts; a pastor after His heart who can disciple you, and a living Church full of fellow disciples of Christ, and you treat them well, taking the proper faith position under the pastor, you will lead the best life on the face of the earth, and spend eternity with Jesus when your days on earth will be over.

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.
Many people shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:1-3 NKJV
