TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2023)
“When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language, Judah became His sanctuary, and Israel His dominion. The sea saw it and fled; Jordan turned back. The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs.
What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, that you turned back? O mountains, that you skipped like rams? O little hills, like lambs?
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters. Psalms 114:1-8 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 245TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
Today is the second day of the 9th month of the year. The zeal, love, compassion, mercies, and marvelous light of the LORD towards us are unquestionable.
For 245 days we have received understanding from the fountain of the Holy Spirit and many of us have become spiritually discreet in handling the affairs of our lives. I would have shared some testimonies at this point but we will leave all that for another time.
God is indeed faithful! Each time He requests that His people sit at His feet to learn, it is to enhance their walk and talk with Him.
I have said this repeatedly, that “There is no problem anywhere. Every man’s ignorance is his problem.” That tells us what we should spend our lives doing as Children of God. We should spend them damaging ignorance.
Yes, Children of God should spend their lives damaging the ignorance of God in them. Oh yes, we should spend each day on earth, launching an all-out attack on spiritual illiteracy and ignorance of the things of GOD. That is one of the characteristics of a disciple of Christ. His learning is a continuous thing.
As disciples of Christ, we should make sure each day does not pass without we learning one new thing in God. If we live our lives that way, we will become all that Heaven predestined us to be on earth. People who unleashed their destinies in time past, did just that.
SCHOOLING IN THE THINGS OF GOD, IS SOMETHING THAT WE WILL SPEND ETERNITY DOING.
So, whatever we may do now to become knowledgeable in the things of God is just a rehearsal. The revelation of who God is cannot be exhausted. That is why, the more it comes to you, the more you realize there is more to know. The more it comes to you, the more you realize how ignorant you have been.
There are realms that even angels do not know. Heights, lengths, and depths of revelations of who God is that are reserved for only Sons to know; yet we will never exhaust them even eternally. If you do not believe that, here is what Paul said;
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV
These deep things are not known to angels because they reside in the inner most being of God; depths, heights, and lengths that only His Spirit knows.
They are the very things the Bible says the Spirit searches to make known to us. If they were just lying on the surface of God, then there would have been no need for searching. Angels would have just picked them. But they are in the depths of who He is!
It is when you sit under a Pauline preacher that you develop a thirst and hunger for these deep things of the LORD. If you are under those who steal from other people’s messages, or who preach motivational talks, secular humanism, and the depths of Satan, you will never develop any righteous thirst and hunger for the depths of God. You will lack the heart circumcision to do so.
Apostle Paul further revealed the presence of these widths, lengths, depths and heights of revelation in scriptures, when he wrote saying;
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV
God has widths, depths, lengths, and heights of revelations that our mortal brains cannot comprehend except the Holy Spirit acts on them, both in the scripture and in the glory of the age to come. Until we step back to full immortality, it will be impossible to get to what is in the glory of the age to come.
WHAT OUR MORTAL BRAIN CAN COMPREHEND, ON THIS SIDE OF ETERNITY, IS BURIED IN SCRIPTURES.
That is the portion that God wants everyone of His child to access. Sadly, many have not. They rather sit with their pseudo pastors, to learn more about the devil in the guise of “not being ignorant of his devices,” thereby filling themselves with unnecessary warfare.
Friend, God wants us to be filled with the fullness of Him. And that will not happen if the revelation of who He is remains unknown.
Many in Church today, worship a God they do not know and relate with a Jesus they have not truly met. Some just have the head knowledge of Jesus but not an intimate knowledge of Christ! That is why many of us are not filled with the fullness of God. We are rather filled with the fullness of the works of the devil.
Actually, 85 percent of those we call Christians, are not filled with the fullness of God. The very essence of salvation is that man be filled with the fullness of GOD. If your salvation has not achieved that, you have a long way to go. You may need to get out of that Church you are worshiping in and let God give you a new one, because you are being short-changed.
If you are not filled with the fullness of God as His child, you will be filled with the fullness of other things because there is no middle ground.
The root cause of our problems therefore, is not evil altars in our villages, evil foundations, or curses. Neither is it not tithing, or sowing seeds. The root cause of our problems, is having a foretaste of God, instead of His fullness in our lives.
God wants a people who will carry Him on their inside (the way Adam did before the fall) on the face of the earth. That is the Only way we can deal with our problems, advance His blessed will, and convert the Kingdoms of this world into that of God and of His Christ!
THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE WHAT YOUR LIFE WILL BECOME IF YOU CARRY GOD ON YOUR INSIDE.
A people who will press into scriptural revelations until they are filled with the fullness of God, will illuminate the earth wherever they dwell. That was how Jesus illuminated the earth with the mercy, goodness, righteousness, power and Kingdom of God when He was physically here with mankind. The Bible says;
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 NKJV
When you are filled with the fullness of God, there will be no place in your life for the devil to touch. Just as no animal can go close to a burning furnace, so will it be impossible for devils to come close to your life. You will be like a burning furnace in the spirit realm.
To be filled with the fullness of God, is the surest way to obtain deliverance from any work of the devil, and become a terror to hell, death, and grave.
If we are filled with His fullness, we will be transformed into a small GOD on the face of the earth (not gods to be worshiped, but gods to worship the one and only true God). We will indeed become His deputy on earth, the way the apostles were, and giving Him pleasure wherever we turn.
It’s a New Month. Yesterday, God began the month for us with a word on “matching right prayers with right decisions,” and other important Bible truths. One of the right decisions you can make is the decision to be filled with all the fullness of God.
Let your spiritual goal for the month be the fullness of God. Be driven by a passion to get the fullness of God and stay with it at all times!
In the Cry of the Spirit Ministries Global, our services are “Discipleship Services for Getting the Fullness Of God!” There can be no fruits of salvation in your life, if you do not have the fullness of God. You will just be like a tree without fruits and life will not be blissful.
Our devotional text this morning is unique; it tells us what really happened to Israel when they came out of Egypt. It tells us why the sea parted and every devil on their way cleared. God literally sat on them and all the wonders began to happen. The Bible says, they moved out of Egypt as God’s sanctuary, and the sea saw it and fled. A major highlight of the text says,

Friend, Satan and all you may be going through may have heard your prayers, but that will never move them until they see the fullness of God in your life. If God fills your life with His fullness and they see it, they will flee and you will begin to have your peace even without praying for it.
THERE IS A GENERATION THAT WILL CAST OUT DEMONS, NOT BY SHOUTING AT THEM, BUT BY JUST BEING AROUND.
That is the generation God wants you to become part of; a generation that cast them out by presence or just a whisper. Those are some of the greatest works Jesus said you and I will do. It is not for preachers but for believers. If you are a believer, that is one major sign and wonder God wants you to be working out in the life of the lost out there.
You must make up your mind to be schooled in the things of GOD until He gets you filled with His fullness. That is the message of today’s devotional and should be your spiritual focus for the month.
In a perverse and crooked generation like ours, in a world under the threat of nuclear weapons in the physical and fresh portals from hell in the spiritual, we must wake up to understand that we can never be safe until we are filled with the fullness of God!
