TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 2023)
For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.
And in those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands.
So nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. 2 Chronicles 15:3-6 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 271ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS
Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to be partakers of His inheritance for the saints, is something that worth doing every day. We slept and woke up because the LORD kept us. Many doubtlessly, slept and did not wake up! But we did! Others woke up on death roll, not by government verdicts but by the verdicts of their health. That did not happen because we are better than them, no! it is out of the LORD’s mercy that we are not consumed.
Child of God, is there nothing to thank God for in your walk and talk with him? If you think there is nothing to thank Him for, maybe because you are surrounded by impossibilities, thank Him for waking you up this morning.
It’s being our season of sharing on the mercy of God, and yesterday’s devotion on “GOD’S GREAT MERCIES” is still resonating in my spirit. I do not know if there is anyone out there, who is taking these gracious truths further, by chewing on them until the Morning Star (Christ) rises in them.
These truths are not for entertainment but for food – spiritual feeding. That is why I am urging you to feed yourself from the stable of these apostolic and prophetic truths, because taking truths like this, and internalizing them will be important to your spiritual wellbeing. Talking about God’s Mercies; the kingdom of God is not like the kingdom of men. It functions on certain platforms of truth. One of the platforms, is the bible truth of how spiritual benefits and blessings increases in the lives of God’s Kingdom Citizens.
Spiritual benefits and blessings, increase in our lives, by the power of what we feed on spiritually. On the flip side, they diminish when we are not properly fed spiritually. That is why the greatest invitation of God to the human race, has been the invitation to come and be fed spiritually.
The Bible says, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God'” (Luke 4:4 NKJV). A large percentage of the Bible is a call to spiritual feeding. In fact, God said to mankind through His prophet Isaiah,
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” Isaiah 1:18-20 NKJV
REASONING TOGETHER WITH GOD, IS ONE WAY WE ARE FED BY HIM.
In simple terms, our spirits are fed whenever we sit down with God to reason together with Him, either through corporate or private study of the Bible. So, the call to come and reason together with the LORD is a call to be fed spiritually.
Sadly, so many are yet to obey this call. That is why you find them devoured by the sword of their enemies.
The Bible says if we are willing to be fed and obedient enough to make spiritual feeding our highest priority in our Christian life, we shall eat the good of the land. The good of the land is not just the earthly blessings of the nation or City of our residence. That is what it was to the nation of Israel. But to us the spiritual nation of Israel, it is more. The land is no longer just a natural land, but Christ Himself.
David said “the LORD is my portion in the land of the living.” Christ is the portion of all who are truly saved in a wicked world like ours. The good of the land therefore, is the riches of God’s Mercy, the riches of His grace and the riches of His glory. The very riches we enjoy at “the Cry of the Spirit Ministries.” Hallelujah!
In simple terms, the good of the land, for the saved and sanctified, is the blessings of knowing Christ, and making Him your portion in the land of the living; a blessing that can only be established through proper spiritual feeding. Sadly, many saved and sanctified people, do not have the full expression of these three-fold blessings in their lives; the riches of God’s grace, the riches of His glory and the riches of His mercies. They have the labels on their lips but do not have the content.
THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CONTENT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT PLUGGED INTO GOD’S SPIRITUAL FEEDING PROGRAM.
Until we plug into God’s proper feeding program, we will not be saved from the sword of our enemies, step into certain kingdom blessings or fulfil Heaven’s assignment for our lives on earth. There is a proper spiritual feeding program of God for the end time church. You need to plug into it.
Like we have noted earlier, there is a spiritual feeding program of God for the human race, especially the end time Church. You will never enjoy the good of knowing Christ until you plug into the program, and begin to draw your spiritual daily food from it.
If there is any time to quit Churches where they do not feed you but practice charismatic witchcraft and sorcery on you, it is now!
A pastor, prophet, apostle, or priest, who lack capacity to properly feed you spiritually, will always be fooling you properly. They will be fooling you by feeding you with things that your ears love to hear, but your heart will never be changed by them.
Others will be feeding you with spiritually dead things, teachings on altars, spirit husbands, and other forms of teachings the Bible calls, the depth of Satan. Some will feed you with divination, sorcery, secular humanism, humanistic philosophies, and etc.
All will be done in the name of deliverance.
Then request for all kinds of sacrifices and financial seed for break throughs will begin to roll. Then dark practices like being asked to sleep with the preachers for your breakthrough, or use sand, salt, brooms, clothes, water, mustard seeds, and etc. to pray will become a practice in your life.
The easiest way to rebel against God’s call, “to come and be fed” is to get stuck to one miracle working heretic teacher, lying prophet, or prophetess, or get hooked up to a Church you love that does not feed you properly, but take away all your monies properly.
There is no Christian generation, that rebelled against God’s spiritual feeding program, that did not fall upon the sword of their enemies. There is no one that will not be full of dark practices and the activities of the demon of deliverance.
It is the good of the land, transmitted into our lives through God’s spiritual feeding program, that will save us from the sword of our enemies, or the consequences of a carnal or sinful decision.
Heaven knows that since mankind left the Garden of Eden in Adam, spiritual malnutrition has been our greatest problem. That is why you see “proper spiritual feeding program” by the hands of God’s teaching priest (prophets and apostles) in every deployment of God’s mercy in His redemptive plans.
NO CHILD OF GOD CAN SUCCESSFULLY PASS THROUGH A SEASON OF NO “PROPER SPIRITUAL FEEDING” WITHOUT LOSING ONE THING OR THE OTHER.
That is why, whenever God deploy mercy to a people, He will get them plugged to any ministry that is part of His feeding program on earth. In fact, out devotional text tells us what happened to Israel, in one season of their lives, when there were no men and women of GOD, to feed them properly in the things of God. It says,
“For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; but when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.

If you look at this scripture carefully, you will see a nation of God’s people living in a time and season, when there was no proper spiritual feeding program for them. It says, “For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law.”
The first consequence was a need-based relationship with God. He was only important to them when there were in trouble. That sound like our generation today! The next consequence was more grievous; the Bible says nation was destroyed by nation, city by city, for GOD trouble them with every adversity.
THIS IS ALSO TRUE OF MANY IN OUR GENERATION.
Due to lack of a proper spiritual feeding program, they cannot find peace in their cities, Churches, marriages, businesses, families, finances, etc. They move from Church to Church and place to place looking for rest from days of adversity, but finds none. The fatness of many in the Cry of the Spirit ministries is responsible for the many visitations among us!
We are a strong spiritual food house planted on the face of the earth to feed people. We are a church not moved by any wind of doctrine. There is no absence of spiritual food in the house. In fact, we have too much to eat. Most of us have so much that have been preached and taught that we are yet to eat. We have left overs! The absence of proper spiritual program today, is the reason for every woe in the life of Christians in the present church.
Even many of you reading this, had no proper spiritual program, until you stumbled into these devotionals. Since 2015, they have become part of God’s global spiritual feeding program for those the LORD committed into our hands. That is why I began today’s devotional, by urging us, not just to read, but to chew the truths here.
If God bring a spiritual feeding program your way, you must open up your spirit to receive it into your life to experience the blessing!
As we bring this devotional to a close, I want you to understand that the Cry of the Spirit ministry is a product of God’s global spiritual feeding program for the End Time. We are one of the many God has raised in our age and time.
If you are part of this chariot, green pasture, or spiritual food house, just know that God has plugged you into a proper spiritual feeding program for your life. The call of God on us all, remain to come to Him and be fed properly. Being in the Cry of the Spirit ministries is helping us to fulfill that call.
Don’t forget, whenever mercy says “no,” over a people in perils, God will connect them to a spiritual feeding program, to be healed, delivered, then raised and built to do His blessed will.

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
“At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.” Jeremiah 3:15-17 KJV
