TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 19TH October 2023)
“Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?”
The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, times and half a time.
When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed.” I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?”
He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.
Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.” Daniel 12:5-10 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 292ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
It has been 292 days of God’s mercies, compassion, kindness, and faithfulness. Yes, for us who follow the word on this platform, it has been 292 days of God’s light and understanding, restoration and healing, purification and sanctification, faith building and sustenance of holy fire.
We give glory to our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for all that His Holy Spirit have been accomplishing in our lives. We give Him the glory for the comfort of His Holy Spirit that has been doing so much in our lives than our minds can imagine.
If the Spirit was not on earth, we would have been consumed. If He was not on earth, directing us, purifying us, refining us, strengthening us, protecting us, renewing us, guiding our steps, opening our eyes, setting our lives on fire, using us and saving us, we would not have been alive. Take the Holy Spirit from the earth, and you will have hell on earth.
Since the fall of Satan, long before the creation of man, He has been on earth restraining, neutralizing, and restricting all form of wickedness. The Bible says;
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2 NKJV
The Spirit of the LORD has not stopped hovering over the waters of evil and wickedness that seem to have drown the human race. If you are not experiencing those waters, it is because He is sheltering you.
This scripture tells us how God deals with dark forces; He deals with them by engaging His Holy Spirit to restrain, restrict, neutralize, and stop them. He deals with them by engaging His Holy Spirit to help us as they charge against us. That is why His Spirt did not cease from hovering over the earth after man was created.
NOTHING ABOUT THE PURPOSE OF HAVING HIM ON EARTH CHANGED AFTER THE CREATION OF MAN.
The only thing that changed was the intensity of His activities on earth; it increased. Whenever wickedness increases on earth, His activities increases also, especially by the hands of His Standard bearers. That is why Satan fears the Holy Spirit, His standard bearers and those who are filled with the Spirit.
The Bible says;
“So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 NKJV
The enemy increases his activities by coming in like a flood. When he increases His activities, and comes in like a flood, God’s system of stopping Him is by engaging his Holy Spirit to raise a standard against him.
That is why standard bearers are always attacked. They hold what the Spirit of the LORD needs to move against the enemy, when He comes in like a flood. When God’s standard bearers are active, and the standard is raised, it will increase the activities of the Holy Spirit and reduce or eliminate the activities of the enemy.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, and the Spirit of the LORD is not there, the enemy will get people drown in his flood, resulting in wars, strife, conflicts, divisions, immorality, depravity, poverty, wickedness, darkness, death, diseases, destruction and all that.
An earth without the Holy Spirit will be hell; what happened in the generation of Noah, will be nothing compared to it. We will have parading princes of darkness literally coming to our homes, to defile, destroy, and even feed on us. We will have hell on earth.
But thank God for the Holy Spirit who is still here hovering over the darkness of every age and making sure we are preserved until the time appointed by the Father.
FRIEND, WE MUST BE GRATEFUL TO THE LORD AND SEEK AN INCREASE OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ON EARTH TODAY.
Our world is in turmoil. Our days are witnessing unprecedented activities of dark spiritual forces, patterned after the apocalyptic horses of the book of revelation. We are seeing them stirring up things in the spirit realm, resulting in death and destruction on earth, and it is happening before our very eyes. We need the activities of the Spirit to increase in certain cities, nations, kingdoms, tongues, and tribes.
We are in critical days of world history and bible prophecy. So much is happening right now that is further authenticating prophecies in the Holy Scriptures. We are seeing Bible Prophecies fulfilled before our very eyes.
We are seeing darkness uniting in all fronts, both in and outside the Church.
We are seeing templates of the unity of darkness against light, forming in so many places. Wickedness is coming together like never before. There is an alignment of dark forces in fulfillment of Bible prophecies.
There is also a gathering of the wheat of Jesus Christ into the barns of His kingdom in readiness of His return; the barns of glory and fulfillment of the shadows Moses used in his days, leading to the throwing away of the use of the olive oil as the Holy Spirit, holy water, and other deliverance inventions.
This gathering has led to the denunciation of dark doctrines, like the doctrine of altars, spirit spouses, etc. The lives of those the dark doctrines have ruined is rising daily, and many are beginning to see how they have been deceived by heretic preachers, money minded and ignorant deliverance ministers.
THERE IS A FRESH HUNGER AND DESIRE FOR THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST.
People are walking away from religious darkness and occultism in church called deliverance, and coming to the awareness that Jesus is enough. All these are part of end time Bible prophecies. We at the Cry of the Spirit Ministries Global, are on the path of the gathering of the elects into God’s kingdom barns.
We are walking with the LORD and following Him on that. One of the Bible prophecies that is being fulfilled today through these alignments is what we find in our devotional text. A major highlight of the text says;

There is so much in this bible prophecy that we cannot uncover on this platform. But we see two sets of people that will characterize our days; the wicked and the purified.
The Bible says there will be those who will be purified, made spotless and refined by the Holy Spirit in our days, and there will be those who will continue in wickedness. You must decide which group to belong because the time is short.
That is the message of this devotional.
We also see two kinds of spirits that will be operational; the spirit of wickedness and the Spirit of Godliness. They will also manifest as the spirit of lawlessness and the Spirit of Order, the spirit of error and the Spirit of Truth, the spirit of the antichrist and the Spirit of Christ, the spirit of the lord (Baal) and the Spirit of the LORD GOD.
Sadly, many churches and preachers are ruled by the spirit of wickedness, lawlessness, Baal, error and the antichrist, thereby putting their members in a position where they dark part of the Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled in their lives. We see a lot of believers continuing in the wickedness of their old lives, after the recitation of the sinner’s prayers.
People lead very sinful and wicked lives, yet profess to be born again.
We see so many believers who are not among those who are being purified, made spotless, and refined by the Spirit of the LORD, preaching, attending churches faithfully, and sadly not knowing they are headed to hell.
Friend, these are the worst days to worship in wrong churches. Time has come to choose which group you want to belong to. Time to throw away these gods that our spiritual fathers gave us, and serve the God of the Bible. If we do not, we will continue in our wickedness and not allow the Holy Spirit to purify, make us spotless, and refine us for the glorious appearing of the LORD.
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!
“So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.’
“Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:13-15 NKJV
