TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 27th October 2023)
“Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.
Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:45-46 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 300TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
It’s a good thing to give thanks to the LORD,after passing successfully through a night, and resting to have our cells renewed.
Generationally, the night season is God’s season of renewal of life on the face of the earth. That is why it’s important that when we wake up,we should kneel down in prayer and say to Christ, “thank you LORD for another Day.”
It’s being our season of looking at matters of the kingdom, or matters of the King and His purposes for our lives. God has been faithfully breaking the seal of His word to us. The Spirit of truth has been feeding us with matters of divine destiny; I don’t know about you, but I am very grateful to God and His Holy Spirit who made all that happen.
Indeed, God will not stop pursuing His own with mysteries because He wants to be revealed. God does not want to be concealed. That is why it pains His loving Heart, when a preacher stands before a people to preach inspiring ormotivational messages,that are not revealing Christ the King to the people.
If you understand what the gospel of the Kingdom which we are commissioned to preach is, you will realize that most of what we have today are man-made messages; cross-less and Christ-less messages feeding gullible people. That is why there is no eternal impact on the dying souls of men.
People are either yet to be delivered from a life of sin, or come to the place of hating the life.
So much about the faith that was committed to us to make known to the dying world, have been either adulterated or hidden from dying souls by the man-made gospel that has filled the ears of men in so many churches.
If people have been hearing the gospel of the kingdom, instead of the gospel of altars, lost stars, redemption of first born, spirit husband and all that, there would have been no demonic case in the lives of Christians. There would have been no stealing in the name of God, we all would have become a temple for God in the Spirit.
WHAT IS NEEDED TODAY IS THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM, NOT ANY OTHER.
We are right in the horrors of the last days. We need the kind of faith that our Bible fathers had in their time, a faith that helped them endure what look like our days. That faith can only come when we hear the gospel of them Kingdom, because faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of the LORD. The Bible says,
“But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:13-14 NKJV
One major sign of the end, is the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom. In other words, when you see some preachers doing away with the gospel of redemption of first born, giving of first fruits, raising or silencing of altars and all that, and preaching the gospel of the King and His domen, know that the end has come. Know that God is fulfilling a major prophecy.
Today we can see few who are already doing that. Many more will join. God will help many of His men and women who have no money-making or fame seeking agenda in ministry, to do away with all kinds of man-made gospels, and preach the real gospel; the gospel of the Kingdom.
Talking about the gospel of the Kingdom, I want to submit to you that the gospel of the kingdom is something that is to be demonstrated, not just to be preached. Until it is demonstrated, Christ cannot be revealed to a people, or formed in them.
The good news is, the seasons are coming together. There will be no more many ears given to any other gospel. It is just a matter of time. Most ears will be turned to the true gospel, and most hearts will be craving for it.
As already seen in the scriptures, the true gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! It is a message of the cross with the revelation of Jesus Christ at its center.
Child of God, God is raising an army to preach the message of the Cross again and impact the souls of a perishing generation. Yes, our generation is marking the end of a Saul Era; The David era is beginning. Giants are being taken down.
IT’S IMPORTANT THAT WE SEE INTO THE SPIRIT AND SENSE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.
I sense a release of divine acceleration for us in this season. People will be made to run ahead of time to catch up with the time they have wasted in false Christianity. The time they have wasted drinking oil, using sand to pray, using water to obtain deliverance and practicing all kinds of sorcery in the guise of prophecy.
Now, talking about divine acceleration, if there is anything more our divine destiny will need to be fulfilled, especially in the seasons that are upon us, that thing is called divine acceleration.
The necessity of divine acceleration to a child of God, cannot be over emphasized. Sometimes we take decisions that seems to slow down God’s works in our lives. We make mistakes that draws us back. Friend, personal mistakes of life and sins can be very costly to our divine destiny. But when we repent, and come back to God, we can begin to experience a divine acceleration that will help us to recover fully.
For instance, Abram got one Ishmael from a relationship that was not part of God’s plan for him, and his destiny was altered severely.
Today, the result of that one act is still with us on earth, repeating itself in so many lives. We need divine acceleration that way he got it after God took him to the threshing floor in Genesis 17. When God took him there, the encounter changed his nature, from that of Abram to that of Abraham.
Apart from the power of personal mistakes, there is also the mistake of not rising up early in life to respond to God. That can also hinder us from meeting up with God’s schedule for our lives. All these things and much more, are the reasons for the need of divine acceleration. It is God’s recovering tool for us.
There is the mystery of DIVINE SCHEDULES. We are not to miss our divine schedules in life. The Bible says God has already scheduled our lives. We are not to miss any of His schedules for our lives. But we do miss His divine schedules, which is why divine acceleration comes to help us recover.
Like I have repeatedly taught, God originally scheduled everyone to come into the realm of unleashing their destiny at 30 years of age. You see that in scriptures.
In His plan, once you are thirty, you should start unleashing your divine destiny. That was why people in Bible days entered into priesthood at 30. Joseph became prime minister of Egypt and minister of Agriculture at 30also, and Jesus began to fulfil his ministry at 30.
YOU OUGHT TO BEGIN TO FULFIL WHY YOU WERE BORN AT 30.
But that might not be possible for you. It is not only you, there are many others who are already above the 30-year mark, and have not even found their footing in life. The circumstances of life can be very terrible.
Personal mistakes, spiritual ignorance, carnality and sinful living, all can be very disruptive when it comes to God’s schedules for our lives. That is why God has made His grace; the grace of divine acceleration available.
Personally, if not for the grace of divine acceleration that the LORD gave me, the disruptive seasons I had in life for almost 20 years, would have ruined me completely. I would have not been where I am now. If personal sins, errors or the miscalculations of life, create a disruption in God’s schedule for your life, divine acceleration can fix it for you.
The grace of divine acceleration will be needed for you to catch up with God’s schedules for your life, and come into blessings or miracles you may have missed due to spiritual ignorance, personal sins, or the miscalculations of life. Make request for the grace one of your prayer requests, whenever you are in the secret place.
Now, even if there are no errors or mistakes in your life, you will still need the grace to walk with God and keep pace with Him. Do not forget, God lives in the past, the present and the future. You will need the grace to align with all the realms He lives in because of where He operates from.
Don’t forget, God operates from a realm where there is no time. Each time He wants to execute certain redemptive purposes, you find Him plugging those He may be working through to the grace of divine acceleration.
He plugged Philip to this grace to rescue the Ethiopian Eunuch,and later used the Eunuch to open the first door for the gospel in Africa. The foot print of that event is still in Ethiopia today.
Divine acceleration will be necessary for the rescue of souls this end time. A Major highlight in our devotional text this morning says; “Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” That is Divine Acceleration.
TIME FOR THE HAND OF THE LORD TO COME UPON YOU
Yes! Time for the hand of the LORD to come upon you! You will not progress in life significantly, until that happens. The enemy will raise successful walls of resistance around you, until the hand of the LORD come upon you. You will remain stagnant in life until that happens.
You do not kill stagnancy by giving sacrifice to some prophets, apostles or prophetess. You do not kill it by raising altars or silencing some. You kill stagnancy by the grace of divine acceleration collected in the secret place.
This grace does not come by giving. That is why you can’t find either Elijah or Philip giving an offering to tap into it. It comes by our unconditional commitment to Christ, and time in the secret place. It comes upon us while we are in the secret place, primarily to meet the need of God for the hour.
Elijah got it in the secret place. You will not get it any other place.
As we bring this to a close, I want you to understand that the Bible made it clear that God want to do a quick work in our age and time, cut things short and finish His works in righteousness. His outstretched hands have been positioned to be placed on people.
It is my prayer that you become one of them!
