TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2023)
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:11-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 312TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
We thank GOD for giving us another day this year. We have seen almost all of the days of the year. We believe that, the few days left will be glorious. We believe the days are doubtlessly pregnant with God’s mercies, compassion, and marvelous kindness for us.
No matter what will happen, we will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Amen.
Yes, we are in the end of the year, and as humans it is natural for some of us to be apprehensive about what the next year holds. But walking with the LORD on daily bases is one way to overcome that. That is why you find those with a stable walk with the LORD calm and calculative as they wake up each morning.
No apprehension, just faith in GOD and submission to His will.
It is very important that we live lives that are submissive to God’s will and ways. People who live lives that are totally submitted to God’s will and ways, have a commitment that stabilizes their lives. Once your life is both submitted and committed to God’s will, ways, and course for it, your security is sure. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. The Bible says;
“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
Indeed, they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.
“Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Isaiah 54:14-17 NKJV
WHAT A SPIRITUAL HERITAGE WE FIND IN THIS SCRIPTURE FOR THOSE WHOSE LIVES ARE ALIGNED WITH GOD’S WILL AND WAYS.
Spiritual heritages like this will begin to speak in your life because of your submission and commitment to the LORD, His will, ways, and course for your life. God has a History of blessing those who walk in His will and ways. Whatever the devil throws at them, God rewards them for going through it and remaining faithful. That is why all things walk together for their good.
Sadly, we live in a church generation that prays to a God they are not truly committed to. Most of us are a people who pray and fast always but are not genuinely submissive to God’s will, ways, or course for our lives.
You can live a life of fasting and prayer, and still live a life that is not in alignment with God’s course for your life. If you see a Christian struggling with curses, you will have seen one whose life is not fine-tuned to suit God’s course for it.
No matter how you pray and fast, if how you run your life is not in line with God’s course for it, you will be suffering and struggling despite your fasting and prayers. Yes, we have been taught that prayer and fasting change all situations, but that is only true if it is done within the structure of God’s will and by a life that is already in alignment with God’s course for it.
We think that prayers will work regardless of how we live. But that is not true.
There is nothing wrong with blessing the ministry and life of a preacher who has been a blessing to you. However, there are people who have even been wrongly taught that, the only way you can change your life is by giving offerings or raising financial or material sacrifices to give to some acclaimed preachers. They are told that it will facilitate answers to their prayers and change their lives regardless of how they live. That is a gospel of from a preacher’s greed and covetousness.
Jesus call churches and ministries where such things are taught, synagogue of Satan. The people have an appearance of a church of God but they are an assembly of Satan, according to the report of the LORD.
IN SUCH CIRCLES, EMPHASIS IS MADE ON GIVING RESOURCES INSTEAD OF LIVING RIGHT.
People are zombified to be giving for better lives, instead of being taught and trained to live righteously for a better life.
I grew up in church to discover that greedy preachers always emphasize on giving, but Godly preachers emphasize on living. Your life is not improved by giving according to the greedy and covetous preacher’s definition. Your life is improved by living according to divine will, ways, and routes for it.
We need Godly preachers today, not greedy preachers. The word says;
“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you (Isaiah 54:14 NKJV).
The word did not say “in giving offerings to the pastors or raising altars of sacrifice you shall be established.” The word did not say, “in giving to silence altars you shall be established.” It says in righteousness we shall be establish.
Instead of teaching righteousness, greedy and covetous preachers teach giving. But we cannot stop them, we can only stay away from them to save our eternal lives. Giving to raise or silence altars, or redeem yourself as a first born, is heretic. It is one-way preachers scam God’s people.
Child of God, this giving thing have been so bastardized today. There are so many giving systems preachers have developed in the present Church. If you beam the light of scriptural truth on them, you will realize that the systems are just the preacher’s ways of scamming God’s people.
They do that threatening the people not to question them.
Some of them are called, first fruits offering, dedication offering, deliverance offering, outrageous thanks giving offerings, and etc. Friend, money for miracle, is the gospel of greedy preachers. That is why it has not made any eternally relevant. It only made the preachers owners of properties here and there, private jets and all that.
YES, GOD DOES BLESS HIS SERVANTS FOR FAITHFUL WORK DONE, AND THE FAITHFUL AMONG US HAVE BEEN IMMENSELY BLESSED.
But most of what we see today are proceeds of erroneous teachings from the mouth and lives of greedy men and women of God. It is good to give offerings for the work of God. But to better your life, righteousness remains the key.
Righteousness is living a life that is submissive and committed to God’s will, ways and course for it.
Sadly, many are not taught the truth; they are not taught the truth of living a life that is submissive to God’s will and ways, and His predetermined course for it. They are just taught to give and all will be well, which is very heretic.
There is so much in God that must be in place before our lives will begin to pick; it is not giving as defined by greedy preachers. One of it is visionary living. That is why what we are considering in these devotionals of late is very important.
We have seen three laws of visionary living.
The first we saw was the law of visionary residency, the second the law of visionary hearing, and the third the law of visionary relations. We are still on the law of visionary relations. There are visionary relations from hell and there are visionary relations from Heaven.
Greedy and covetous preachers are visionary relations from hell. If you sit under them, your salvation will be fake. They will turn you into a child of hell, according to what Jesus said. Our devotional text says;
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matthew 23:13-15 NKJV
This scripture is so true about most of the spiritual fathers and their sons in our generation. They travel all over the world or sit in their churches turning people twice into sons of hell like themselves.
MANY BELIEVERS HAVE NOT REALIZED THAT JESUS HATES DARK SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP.
When His Spirit was speaking through the prophets before the Cross, He cried strongly against their activities. You find it in Jeremiah 23, Ezekiel 13, 14, and 37, and many other voices of the Old Testament prophets.
In the new, men like Paul, Peter, Jude, and John, had a running battle with heretic teachings, and teachers, and false prophecy and prophets. In our devotional text, we find the LORD having a running battle with the spiritual leaders of His day. They were corrupt and very dark in their practices.
Their hypocrisy sent a stench to the nostrils of God and it was terrible.
Friend, you will never enjoy the rest Jesus promised you being under a preacher who is turning people into sons of hell like himself. You will be intimidated to submit in fear, and he will be governing your life to his benefit.
There are so many people who have been destroyed in dark churches today.
I sat with a couple yesterday that shared with me how their former pastor prevented them from seeing their parents and granny. The husband treated his grandfather who lifted him from dust so badly, until the man died. The preacher’s visions and teachings made him do that.
If you listen to this couple and what they went through in the hand of a so-called preacher, you will shed tears.
The wife said one day her father collapsed and she was called for help. But the preacher said she should not go, giving her some reason that struck her with fear and anger for the father. The man would recover later.
They just came back from his funeral. Thank God she reconciled with him before his death, and that was because they left that dark church and embraced the doctrine of Christ.
SOME PREACHERS ARE REALLY A PLAGUE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
We have learned that visionary relations from Heaven come to fulfill a Heavenly agenda in our lives, and sometimes they do not look like that at the onset. Preachers like this are visionary relations from hell, sent into people’s lives to fulfill Satan’s agenda.
They make people obey them, instead of following God’s Kingdom principles.
One of the major things you must do, in keeping to the law of visionary relations is this, “watch against dark preachers this end time. Some move in miracles and promise people great liberty and prosperity.” Learn to choose who to listen to or sit under.
Do not allow your earthly problems determine which preacher to sit under, be guided by eternal things. Find a preacher who will not turn you into a son of hell, and plant yourself in his or her ministry, and all will be well.
God gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints not the exploitation of the saints. There are few He gave to be all of them for the same reason.
Watch against exploitation. Be guided by the law of visionary relations. That is the message of today!!
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY.
“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.” 2 Peter 2:1-3 NKJV
