TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2023)
“I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected.
Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:1-3 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 338TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
It is the LORD’s doing and it is marvellous in our sight. His steadfast love is ever new, and His mercies ever fresh. His truth still stands forever, and shines to those who seek it with a pure and hungry heart.
There are three basic sets of information in God’s kingdom. We have divine truths, divine insights, and divine secrets. They might look alike, because every truth or secret in God’s kingdom, is insightful. But they are not alike.
Divine Truths have a way of carving out a path of destiny for one to follow. Divine insights on the other hand have a way of brightening our hearts to tread the paths successfully. But divine secrets help us differently.
The role of a divine secret, is to serve as a tool for taking down obstacles that we may face as we follow the paths that truth has created.
In simple terms, when God wants to carve a path for us to follow, He will begin to teach us truths. As we submit to His Holy Spirit and obey them, we will find ourselves in Heavenly paths; some of them ancient paths that our Bible fathers walked in.
When we find ourselves in Heavenly paths, we will begin to lead a life structured by the holy will of GOD. We will not be lost in life.
People whose lives are not structured by divine truths, will be lost in the wild of life. They will be lost in sin, iniquity, trespasses, and all works of darkness. That is why people who ignore Sound doctrine eventually find themselves in the dark realm of life.
So, if you do not know what GOD wants to do with your life, or the paths to follow in life, find a church that can teach you sound doctrine, and you will find what GOD wants to do with your life, and the paths of life He wants you to follow.
The psalmist says;
“For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:10-11 NKJV
NO MATTER WHAT WE MIGHT HAVE DONE, GOD’S WILL ALWAYS IS THAT WE RESPOND TO HIM, AND BE LED OUT OF THE GRIP OF THE SPIRIT OF HELL.
That is why He sends interpreters of His will our ways, to teach us living truths that can create a path and way out of our hellish situations. He will always send divine truths to say to us, “here is the way, walk in it”.
Friend, if you ignore Bible truths, you have ignored paths you should follow in life, especially if you want to live a blessed life. Isaiah put the power of God’s truths to create destiny paths for us this way;
“And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers.
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:20-21 NKJV
Heavenly truths given by God, are to show us ways to walk in. In other words, to create destiny paths for us to follow.
Destiny paths are prophetic pathways that were pre-determined before the ages began for us to follow. When we follow them, our lives will be filled with peace and progress. We will begin to see Blessings manifest in seasons. That is why it is very costly to ignore truths from God.
I have come to realize that you could be in the belly of hell, so long as life circumstances are concerned, if you can tune your ears and heart to Bible truths and submit to them, you will begin to see a life pathway to follow to come out of the situation.
As the teachings comes to your ears, you will be hearing in your soul, and spirit, “here is the way, walk in it.” You will be finding life pathways to follow in order to change your life for the better.
Obviously, what we have learnt about visionary living, has helped some of us to find life pathways to follow; life pathways on visionary living. Many of us may have heard in our spirits, “this is the way, walk in it.”
THE NEXT THING TO DO IS TO FOLLOW THEM.
A part of our devotional text says;

For some day now, our hearts have been set on the rampart of the LORD on this platform; we have read things and heard that the Holy Spirit have said to us on visionary living. We have also experienced the Cry of the Spirit correcting us in so many areas of life.
Now, it is time to give an answer; it is time to give a favourable response to all the corrections that came our way.
Today is the last day we will be sharing on visionary living this year. Make use of what have been shared to lead a blessed and happy life. The LORD did not just give us truths that created destiny pathways for us, He also gave us insights to brighten the paths.
The Bible says “His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path” (Psalm 119:105). Which paths? Paths created by truths. What truth tells us to do becomes our life pathways. The Bible says truth will say to us, “here is the way walk in it.”
Now, the role of insights, is to brighten up our hearts so that we can walk in the paths that we discovered when truth said to us, “here is the way, walk in it.” That is why, we need both divine truths, and divine insights that will help us walk in the truths, to be successful in life.
Beautifully, we encountered all that during this journey of faith on visionary living.
We got amazing insights on the laws that govern visionary living. They brightened up our minds and gave us clarity on how to walk on the paths that truth created for us to walk in, so long as visionary living is concerned.
The next thing we got from the LORD during this journey is a set of divine secrets on running our lives as kingdom visionaries.
EARLIER, WE STATED THAT SECRETS ARE FOR PULLING DOWN BARRIERS TO PROGRESS.
The things the LORD shared with us on this journey, are strong enough to help us pull down barriers to progress in any area of our lives. The Only thing that is left for us, is to wrap it up by obeying the word of the LORD, in the rest of our devotional text.
The rest of the text says;

When God speak, we see things. Those are the things to write. God has spoken to us, and we have seen things all these days.
The things are for an appointed time. Some are for the immediate appointed time (now) while others are for a future appointed time. However, both categories are to be written and followed diligently.
I submit to you again that, now that we have encountered truths, divine insights, and secrets on living visionary lives, the time to write the vision of what we saw or the prophetic plans discovered is now. We are to make things plain upon tables of our books and hearts, that we may run with them.
Sadly, not everyone can identify the treasures a message, doctrine, revelation, or series of teachings brings. So, the things we are sharing here could sound strange to them. But it is my prayer that GOD grant us mercy and help us all come out well from this journey that has ended today.
In conclusion, I want to say, one of the major Miracles Jesus performed when He was Physically on earth was the Opening of blind eyes.
Sometimes I wonder if blindness was the most of the diseases people suffer in those days. Well, ordinarily, you will expect people to be blind in certain topographies like sandy topographies.
THE LANDSCAPE WHERE THE PEOPLE OF THE DAYS OF CHRIST LIVED IS NOT AN EXCEPTION.
But there is something else to this special trend, and that thing is the message in the miracle. The opening of blind eyes by the LORD was a message of what to expect from every redemptive move of the Spirit of Christ in our age and time; and that message is the opening of the understanding of men.
The Bible calls it the opening of the eyes of understanding. Paul wrote to some of the believers he spent his day forming Christ in them, saying;
“Therefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, Ephesians 1:15-18 NKJV
Doubtlessly, the eyes of our understanding on visionary living have been opened. We have been enlightened. When we started this journey, they were indeed not as good as they are now. Therefore, our lives will be full of light.
May the rest of our days be full of the light of God’s blessings as we use all that we have learned to improve our lives, through visionary living. Amen!

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
