TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 12TH DECEMBER 2023)
“But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.”
“And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. And heal the sick there, and say to them,’ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
“But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’
“But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city. Luke 10:5-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 346TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
Indeed, the best person to serve is God. He is the only one that if you serve, you get reward for your service both in time and eternity. He has been so faithful. Our lives testifies daily of His faithfulness.
To Him belong all the glory!
This year has indeed been our year of signs and wonders. For the days we have lived this year alone, we have seen this great God frustrate the tokens of liars, and made diviners mad. We have seen Him do things that amaze us as a people.
Indeed, who is like unto Him, among the gods who is like Him! He is glorious in Holiness, and fearful in praises; doing wonders hallelujah! We thank Him for what we have seen this year, and look forward to greater things for next year.
One of the major things we are trusting Him for, is the release of great relationships that will enable us to fulfill our destiny. Yes, divine destiny is something you cannot fulfill until you are surrounded by the right people. That is why, one of the major blessings God can give to His Child is the blessing of Right Relationships.
God will bless you with a Right person in any form of relationship to multiply you positively, subtract evil from your life, add great value to your life, or create progressive divisions that will make sure no evil befalls you, or dark thing happen to you.
Yes, there are relationships God brings into our lives to create progressive or righteous divisions between us and what might be ruining us, with or without our knowledge. That is what we will be focusing on today because many of us need that miracle.
To start with, understand that, Progressive divisions are divisions that are healthy to our divine destinies. They are divisions that tantamount to separating light from darkness, and many need that kind of righteous division today!
There are people who have lived with darkness all their lives and are not progressing. They have maintained great harmony with darkness; a harmony that has hindered them from progressing in life.
It is to such people that God will send fresh relationships that will divide and separate them righteously from those the enemy is keeping them in harmony with. Yes, relationships that will create righteous division between them and the custodians of the darkness that has lived in their lives, and hindered them in all fronts.
Jesus was a relationship that entered Israel, and created a righteous division between them and Judaism. He took away the harmony that existed between the people and their dark leaders and rescued the people.
PREVIOUSLY, IN HIS PRE-INCARNATE FORM, HE BIRTH JUDAISM.
But in His incarnate form, He came to fulfill the purpose of birthing Judaism, then bury it completely because it was now taken over by darkness. The religious leaders of that day could not welcome any bit of that.
There was an eternal damaging harmony that existed between the people and Judaism that was to be taken away for God’s eternal plan for them to be fulfilled, and His fresh salvation plan for them accomplished. The religious establishment on ground was benefiting from the harmony, making great fortune for themselves and families.
The harmony was enshrined in families, marriages, cultures and all you can think of, and through it, they were getting substance and submission to keep reigning from year to year. It was a harmony they never wanted any to take away!
They stipulated laws, and established stiff penalties and consequences to prevent, threaten or neutralize any attempts to take it away. It was protected with stiff laws but destroying the people eternally without them knowing it, and God wanted it out.
That was the harmony Jesus targeted (to pull down) when He said, “I did not bring peace on earth, but a sword.”
The Jesus of the Bible, will always place a sword where ever a peace that will ruin His plans for our lives exits. He will always place a sword wherever a harmony that will take us to hell exist. That sword could come as a relationship sent into your life.
If you read the book of Matthew chapter 10, verses 34 to 36, you will understand that the Spirit of Christ will never allow people of any age to remain in peace and harmony or love and compassion, if the peace, harmony, love or compassion is benefiting the kingdom of darkness. He will create righteous divisions that will bring spiritual liberty to all in that dark net.
But Satan will act differently. He will protect such harmonies, compassions, peace, and love because they are benefiting His kingdom. He will protect them with laws that has stiff penalties.
I want to submit to you that, whenever you see Satan becoming a preacher of peace, love, compassion, and harmony, people are in a peace, harmony, compassion and love that is benefiting his kingdom.
SADLY, TRUE BELIEVERS ARE USUALLY TRAPPED BY SUCH GIMMICKS.
We do not know that whenever Satan becomes a preacher of love, compassion, harmony, and peace to sustain any relationship, it is because that relationship is benefitting his kingdom. Whenever he becomes a marriage counsellor, it is because that marriage will ruin the plans of God for people’s lives.
That is why, when you see men and women with the history of wickedness, and a life full of abominable practices, preaching peace, it is not because they have repented, but because the peace they are trying to protect is benefiting the kingdom of darkness.
When you see them protecting a relationship with encouragement to love each other, it is because that relationship is sending a soul or souls to hell.
When God want to rescue people, who are caught up in those kinds of snares, He will send relationships into their lives, to create a special disharmony and dislike, with capacity to take away the harmony, love, compassion, or peace they have with those the enemy is using to ruin their lives.
He will use the principle of righteous division and progressive separations to save the people. The Bible says;
“I form the light and create darkness, I make peace [national well-being] and I create [physical] evil (calamity); I am the Lord, Who does all these things.” Isaiah 45:7 AMPC
Why would the LORD do these things? The answer is simple. To stop the kingdom of darkness from damning souls through harmonies, love, peace, and compassion that benefits Satan.
Jesus targeted that harmony when He was physically on earth. He is still targeting it today.
Do not think that He has stopped. His Holy Spirit is here with us, targeting that harmony, and bringing it down through right relationships God established on earth. The Jesus of the Bible will never allow darkness to mix with light for too long. He will separate His light from the darkness of the evil one.
ANY JESUS YOU SEE TODAY, ESTABLISHING HARMONY BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARKNESS IS THE FALSE JESUS.
Our devotional text made it clear, that when the true Jesus was on earth, He even forbid His disciples from contributing to any peace and harmony that is not contributing to the advance of His own kingdom on earth.
This is one major secret that most of the spiritual fathers in the Church today do not know. Hence contributing to harmonies that are prospering the interest of Satan or his dark men on earth.
A major highlight in the text says,
“But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.”
Why did Jesus say the peace will return to them? The reason is simple. If the peace did not return, it will become a fertility for the activities of the sons of hell in that place. It will be used to prosper Satan’s interest.
Peace from the LORD, is only for the sons of peace. It is not for any other. It is not for the sons of hell, sons of turmoil, sons of baliel, sons of war, or sons of wickedness. It is basically for the sons of peace.
Our devotional text beautifully presented to us that, Jesus never wanted His disciples to make peace available for everyone, system, or culture. It was for the prosperity of God’s interest only.
That tells us How strict the kingdom of God is when it comes to the administration of God’s peace, harmony, compassion, and love. It is not for the wrong people. It is not for the prosperity of Satan’s interest on earth.
In closing, I want to submit to you that your life might have been better than it is now, if you had treated the principle of the administration of harmony, peace, love, and compassion properly.
In clear terms, your life might have been better than it is now, if you had administered harmony, peace, love and compassion properly.
Allowing the interest of Satan to prosper in your life by being in harmony with the wrong people and disharmony with the right people might have been your problem in life.
Some of us have hated who we should have loved, and loved people we should have kept far away from our lives. We have maintained peace and harmony with those who are using it to put a stop to our progress, knowingly or unknowingly. That must be stopped.
We must stop hating people we work together in the same place, serve together in the same church, grew together in the same homes, pray together to the same Jesus, worship God together, and etc. We should learn to administer peace properly.
The young prophet from Judah died because he did not administer peace properly. He maintained peace with who he should not have (read 1 Kings 13). That is what is killing many of us who are following the LORD!
But God sent this word to help us stop it, even as we prepare for the coming year. It is my prayer that we will all heed to the word of the LORD and do the right thing in Jesus’ precious name. Amen
