TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 30TH DECEMBER 2023)
“You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.
They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, and the little hills rejoice on every side.” Psalm 65:11-12 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 364TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF SIGNS AND WONDERS.
It is amazing that unworthy as we are, we have seen 364 days of the 365 days allocated to this year. We humbly bow our hearts to say, “thank you Jesus” for being the Day that gave us these days.
Our lives testify that all through the year, our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, was our Judge, He was our lawgiver, and He was our King. That is why we are here today. He saved us from all the evils of 2023 and made sure none consumed us.
The Bible says;
(For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, The LORD is our King; He will save us); Isaiah 33:22 NKJV
If He was not our Judged in 2023, all the dark men and women who passed judgments and sentences over our lives, would have had them executed against us. But because He was our Judge, He overruled all they said.
If He was not our lawgiver, dark laws that govern the Kingdom of men would have destroyed our lives. Yes, spiritual laws that sorcerers create to harm God’s people would have harmed us fatally.
Doubtlessly, just as Balaam used the dark spiritual law of raising altars to harm God’s people, and was overruled, so some altar raising prophets and prophetesses and apostles used dark spiritual laws to harm us this year. But the LORD who is our Lawgiver, over ruled them. That is why we are crossing over to the next year!
He was not just our judge and Lawgiver, He was also our King. The safety and prosperity of our lives are product of His shout as our King.
There is something called “the Shout of a King” that comes from Him to secure His people from danger. Israel saw that when Balaam and Balak conspired to wipe them away from the face of the earth.
We also saw it neutralizing those who conspired against us this year.
INDEED, HE WAS, AND IS, AND WILL STILL BE OUR JUDGE, LAWGIVER, AND KING, TILL HE COME TO TAKE US HOME.
Today mark the final phase of the journey to the last day of the year 2023.
There are special blessings God stores up for the end of everything He starts; years inclusive. That is why He is called “the alpha and omega.” It was the blessings God stores up to pour on His people at the end of a year that David saw in the Spirit, when He declared that God crowns the year with His goodness.
Part of the roles of a prophet is to make the supernatural realm of God plain to the Church. From this point of view, let me share some mysteries with you!
If you look at God’s time clock on earth, as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, you will discover that the crowning of an outgoing year with God’s goodness actually begins in September of that year.
It continues through with the opening of Heavenly portals, and ends in December. It is during this period that Heaven take stock of individual lives, and determine those who will cross into a coming year and live through it and those who will not.
It was during that period we received God’s declaration of what He wants to accomplish with us in the coming year, for us who follow the Gregorian calendar. He said to us during the period that year 2024 will be for us our year of Impact.
That is why some of those God have shown mercy to walk with Him closely and understand these things, can humbly say, “we have already received our crowning and have crossed into 2024.” They say this from the eternal point of view – a timeless zone where God lives – and the revelation of His plans and purposes for their lives.
NOW, DON’T FORGET, GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN TIME. THE BIBLE SAYS HE INHABITS ETERNITY.
Any generation that walks closely with Him therefore, is not governed by time alone. It is governed by eternity also. In other words, God’s timeless zone also plays a role in their perception and walk with Him.
It is from this timeless zone that we speak to say we are already in what the world calls “a New Year – 2024.” We stepped in prophetically when He started crowning 2023 with His goodness in September.
We will step in practically by tomorrow in a 16 to 17-hour time in His presence, starting from 8:30am.
But there are a people who are not governed by this revelation; precious ones who are waiting for cross over nights. You are the ones we are speaking to because God has a word for every one of His own.
Our devotional text says, God crowns the year with His goodness. Even if the year had not been good to you, the final crowning that will take place tomorrow can perfect things. If God created the world in seven days, God will not need one month to fix whatever may be wrong in your life.
Therefore, make this day and season your day and season of receiving that blessing that will crown the year 2023. Yes, make it a time and season of that special crowning of the Most High God who began the year with you.
If you do, it will put the entire coming year right for you.
While sin, Satan, death, diseases, wars, conflicts, human errors, terror, and etc, might be ravaging people, you will be kept in God’s secret pavilion. Hallelujah!
The question now is how do you position yourself for God to finally crown this year with His goodness for you? Is it by giving special offerings, being anointed with oil or drinking it?
Is it by burning candles at night, using brooms to sweep your enemies during cross overs, using salt, mustard seeds, water or special cloths to pray? That will be prophetic insanity or madness.
Friend, prophetic insanity can never fix what an insane spirit like Satan may have done in your life, come to talk of it crowning your year with God’s goodness.
HOW THEN DO WE MAKE THIS TIME AND SEASON A TIME AND SEASON OF ALLOWING GOD TO CROWN YOUR YEAR WITH HIS GOODNESS?
The answer lies in the same Psalm. The Bible says, blessed is he who the LORD chooses to approach Him.
David made it clear that God will choose you, especially during odd times or hours, to approach Him; He will put it in your heart to seek Him in prayers and fasting, or in prayers and deep study of His word.
That is the opportunity God has provided for you through us, in our 16 to 17-hour in His presence starting from 8:30am tomorrow. Doubtlessly, if you respond, you will be satisfied with the goodness of God’s house.
The word says God will bless us or satisfy us with the goodness from His house, as we spend time in His presence.
Now, the house of God is not a building, but the place of His manifest presence. So, when the Bible says we will be satisfied with the goodness of His house, it simply meant we will be blessed with whatever His manifest presence carries or brings.
It is a new day for you and for all of us, as we heed to the prompting of the Holy Spirit that came while reading this devotional word. Part of it is the prompting to come into His manifest presence.
In God’s manifest presence, is fullness of joy, and at His right hand, are pleasures for evermore. So, when He choose you to approach His presence, and you respond swiftly, you will give Him what He needs to crown your year with His goodness.
I declare that this prophetic time and season, shall be for you a time and season of God crowning your year with His goodness, in Jesus’ precious name. AMEN!!
