TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURDAY 11TH JANUARY 2024)
Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the LORD and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”
The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, “I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.” Psalm 2:1-6 NIV
WELCOME TO THE 11TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.
There is no one like the God of Israel, who ride the Heaven to help us. He has not just been our God, but our refuge. Underneath have been His everlasting love.
The best partnership in the world is not partnership between men, as good as that might be, but partnership with God.
If you partner with men, they will fail you. But if you partner with God you will never be disappointed. It is only in a partnership with the true GOD that we can experience His Kingdom, power, and glory.
Sadly, many do not want that partnership because it places a demand on their flesh.
They want partnership with men of God, which places only a financial demand on them. That is why many have been robbed of choice treasures in the name of sacrifice and seed sowing.
When partnership with God places a demand on our flesh and we respond faithfully, it becomes a covenant relationship with God.
In God’s kingdom, miracles are children’s bread, blessings are for both obedient children and sons of God, but the covenant is exclusively for sons, because of its cost on our flesh.
Children cannot keep the covenant because of the pain it exacts on the flesh.
They will complain a lot and see too many challenges around them. The covenant is for dead men and women in Christ; people who have laid down their bodies as a living sacrifice.
Why are we sharing this? The reason is because, you will need a covenant walk with God in 2024. You will need the shelter of a covenant relationship with God this year as never before.
You will need to live a life that lay down itself for the Kingdom; by laying down I mean the laying down of your passion, desires, wants, and even needs. That is what makes you a covenant child.
The laying down makes sons too self-less not to be an asset to God.
It helps them to possess the capacity to ignore their problems and say yes to God at any time. That is why they alone enjoy the manifestation of God as a covenant keeping God.
YOU NEED THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD THIS YEAR, AS A COVENANT KEEPER.
Children of God enjoy His manifestation as a loving God, but Sons enjoy His manifestations as both a loving God and a covenant keeping God. I hope you understand me.
God gives sons as a covenant to others in order to rescue them either from the kingdom of darkness or its activities.
As our year of impact, you will need to be used of the LORD as His covenant for the salvation of others.
I have learned from personal experiences that when the covenant keeping God, meets His covenant keeping people, there are always sparks in the Spirit, and the release of Heavenly treasures into not just their lives, but the lives of those God has given them as a covenant to.
This morning I want you to consider being a covenant keeper if you are not, so that you will begin to see the manifestation of God in your life as both a loving God and a covenant keeping GOD.
Your destiny will need covenant keeping to be fulfilled. Don’t allow anyone to confuse you about that. If you study the scriptures, you will realize that every significant destiny was anchored on a covenant, before it was fulfilled.
If you have a significant thing to do with God, you will need to attach your life to a covenant to be able to do it. That is the secret that will make you very effective in the hands of the LORD.
It will paralyse the works of Satan and prevent them from neutralizing you in any way.
Sadly, Satan knows that, hence raising scammers and stirring untaught and untrained preachers to desecrate matters of the covenant.
This they do by asking people recklessly for money in the guise of bringing them into a covenant. They will finish preaching, and when they want to rob, they say, “who is willing to enter into a covenant with God with this amount?”
BY SO DOING, THEY DESECRATE GOD’S HOLY THING.
Many have been scammed that way in the name of entering into a covenant with God.
I want to submit to you that the most expensive thing on earth is not the oil fields in Nigeria or Saudi Arabia. The most expensive thing on earth is not the diamond fields of the world. The most expensive thing on earth is ignorance of the ways of GOD.
You pay for it every day you sit under a scammer.
The covenant is a holy thing that Unholy Men and women have no business in. It is not a thing sinful and ignorant people are brought into. That is why it is a product of God’s glory. It is one of the most Holy things of God.
The Bible says, God reveals it only to those who fear Him. Satan counterfeits it to desecrate it. That has been his way of handling the things of God – counterfeiting them.
When God wants to reinforce or stabilize our commitment to Him, He will bring us into a covenant and give us a prophetic midwife to walk with.
Let me refresh our minds on the mystery of prophetic midwives. Prophetic midwives are sometimes called “spiritual midwives.” They are Kingdom builders we need to submit to and serve under until we enter our own territories in God’s kingdom.
They are usually given a higher level of graces and truth and maintain some depths in their walk and talk with God that we need to get into. I hope you understand me.
You see, there is being at a higher level of religious placement, which is just a matter of carrying a title and enjoying some ecclesiastical benefits, and there is being at a higher level in the things or kingdom of God. Both are not the same.
For instance, one may be a high-ranking Bishop in a Church system but has 0% of spiritual knowledge, Bible truths, grace, or close walk with God.
In God’s plans, before a man or woman is considered high in rank in a Church system, he or she must have spent more years with the LORD like David and not like Saul.
RANKING IN GOD’S KINGDOM IS NOT DETERMINED BY BIOLOGICAL AGE OR HOW LONG YOU HAVE STAYED IN CHURCH.
It is determined by how long you have stayed with GOD in the secret place, knowing Him, and seeing His glory. It is also determined by your weight and wits in the Spirit and how long you have been with the Holy Spirit in the battle fields of God’s kingdom, executing divine will.
A combination of all these will give you a fire, a wit, and a faith that people will need to become what God has called them to be. It will put you a thousand miles ahead of those God has called you to.
It is someone in God who is a thousand miles ahead of you in all Kingdom matters that you need as a spiritual or prophetic midwife.
Not someone who has the greatest crowd or following, because any empty person can command a great crowd or following.
Most of these people who are a thousand miles ahead of others in the things and kingdom of God, do not even have a church, but they can lead or raise anyone to make the greatest Kingdom impact men have ever seen.
They can spark a move of God because they sit in the circle of the earth in Spirit with the LORD, and have gone through all battle matters of the Kingdom.
Let me sound a prophetic note at this point; what are we saying this morning?
There is a move of GOD. It is an end time move of God. It began years ago. We started speaking about it in the 1990s.
Some are only getting to know about it now.
That is why they are saying it is going to start. But it started many years ago.
When true revival starts, especially in a spiritual season like ours, it begins with a cleansing storm and then grows into a revolution to stop falsehood.
For instance, what we know today as the BBC documentary on TB Joshua was prophesied long ago. It was called then, “the cleansing storm.” So, the revival is not starting. It started years back.
It is not like the Pentecostal revivals of the 1930s that you hear some talking about. That has fulfilled its purpose and will keep fulfilling its purpose. This one is an apostolic revival sparked years back.
The purpose is to take the Church from the feast of Pentecost to the feast of Tabernacles, and deal with all deception that has raged against the church by the hands of sorcery as seen in our devotional text.
True revival will take the Church from the feast of Pentecost to the feast of Tabernacle. It will not keep the Church in the feast of Pentecost. I know most will never understand this.
I WILL DO A TEACHING ON IT AT OUR APOSTOLIC CENTER IN NAIROBI, SOON.
In bringing the Church to the feast of Pentecost, it will melt all things that stands on the way of truth, expose falsehood, and raise standard bearers.
Again, this is not going to start, this started long ago.
Something that has started should not be placed in sentences that suggest it will start. It’s deceptive to do so.
That tells us, no one with an evangelistic content can spark the fire of the revival God has prepared for the church these end time.
Evangelistic content can only spark the fire of Pentecostal revival, which happened in the 1930s and is still burning, not that of the feast of Tabernacle.
The fire of Pentecost, is a revival of speaking in tongues and shouting, but the fire of the feast of Tabernacle, which is an apostolic revival fire, makes people carriers of God’s glory. It makes them pillars of fire and moral landscape transformers.
This builds on the Pentecostal fire that had happened, and takes believers beyond speaking in tongue and manifesting the gifts of the Spirit. It is the very reason you need a prophetic midwife and a covenant commitment to God.
The revival of the feast of Tabernacle will require that you be positioned under a man or woman who is a thousand miles ahead of you in matters of the feast of Tabernacle, not that of Pentecost.
When you sit under him, you are to become so committed to the LORD, that you move from a child of God to a Son of God.
Understand that whenever a new season of God is about coming, midwives will be required to bring people into that season.
This year, I want you to consider having a strong midwife in your life, and putting your hands strongly on keeping covenant. If you do, a special promise of God in Isaiah 49 will begin you come to pass in your life.
You will begin to see yourself moving from Pentecost to Tabernacle, where the LORD gives you as a covenant to a people who need Him.
Friend, we are in very interesting times, it is the finest hour of righteousness, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Get your seat in this flight, and do not be distracted. There is a glorious future ahead of the end time Church. It is at the door.
The destroyers of the Church and those who laid it waste by bringing sorcery and witchcraft into the lives of seekers of God, will go away from the lives of the elects.
Yes, they will go away from the wheat, and the wise virgins of Jesus Christ. They will only remain in the lives of the tares.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY;
“Your sons shall make haste; your destroyers and those who laid you waste shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; all these gather together and come to you.”
As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does.
“For your waste and desolate places, and the land of your destruction, will even now be too small for the inhabitants; and those who swallowed you up will be far away” Isaiah 49:17-19 NKJV
