TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 11TH FEBRUARY 2024)
“A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.

WELCOME TO THE 42ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.
We have been sharing truths about what our divine destinies will need to be fulfilled. We have seen several truths. Today we shall see some other truths; we will be looking at the mystery of Destiny Partners.
The Bible is clear that our destiny helper is the Holy Spirit, not a man or woman out there. He is the one who God sent to be our present help in time of trouble, especially when we are failing in any matter of our destiny.
While the Holy Spirit functions as our destiny helper, people He has prepared before the foundation of the world, to be joined to us on the platform of marriage, are to function as our destiny partners.
In God’s plan, one should not be married to anyone who is not their destiny partners because the essence of marriage is the release of destiny.
However, not all will need marriage to release their destinies.
Jesus’ prophetic destiny as the second Adam, never needed marriage to be fulfilled. But the first Adam needed marriage to have his destiny fulfilled. This word is for those whose prophetic destiny need a great and glorious marriage to be fulfilled.
What do I mean by a great and glorious marriage? A great and glorious marriage will produce a strong family as fruit – not a broken home. It will be a marriage that is in God’s perfect will, a marriage sustained by the Holy Ghost.
Yes, it will be a marriage that is fulfilling something significant or spectacular in God’s kingdom. It will not be a marriage called great and glorious by the world standard.
I have maintained that only the Holy Ghost can sustain a marriage. But He sustains only marriages that are in God’s perfect will, unleashing a divine destiny. Marriage principles may help, but except they are powered by the Spirit, they do not really sustain marriages.
It is the Holy Ghost that Sustains marriages, and He only sustains marriages that God joined together!
THIS END TIMES, MARRIAGES WILL BE UNDER INTENSE ATTACKS.
Singles must be sure the LORD is the one bringing them together to form a home, else their marriages will not work. Yes, those getting married must be sure whoever they are marrying is a destiny partner, not just a life partner.
Life partnership that lack destiny in it will not stand these end times. It will either be a marriage in man’s design, blessed with the prosperity of hell, or a marriage in man’s design full of crisis.
It will never be a marriage in God’s design fulfilling something significant in God’s kingdom.
We must all understand that, any marriage that God is not the one bringing the people together, nothing will be able to sustain or keep it together these end times.
Most times, when marriages of believers are not working, people are told to retreat to prayer and fasting to make them work.
Well, that is a great idea, but I grew up to discover that what God has not joined together, prayer and fasting cannot keep together.
It is destiny partnership that keeps marriages together. That is why, if a divine destiny is not being fulfilled by any marital union, no matter how glorious the wedding was, the bliss in it will gradually die, and the union will sometimes come to an end tragically.
We must all understand that only marriages between destiny partners will work this end time, because the primary purpose of marriage, is the release of destiny.
Destiny partnership will keep the home flourishing with God’s presence and blessing, making it impossible for the marriage not to last for a life time. So, the single must make sure that whoever they are getting married to, is a destiny partner, not just a life partner.
A life partner who is not your destiny partner, may be sweet at the onset of your marriage, but will soon become a death partner over time. That is why many marriages have turned from sweet to bitter, and from honey to bees.
THE RELEASE OF YOUR DESTINY MUST BE THE REASON YOU ARE DESIRING MARRIAGE IF YOU DO NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN IN YOUR MARITAL LIFE.
It is when the release of divine destiny is the motivation for your marital desires that God will lead you, and make sure your marriage remain strong and blissful all the days of your lives together with that man or woman.
It is the release of divine destiny that makes the man or woman your destiny partner.
Now, many people have been desiring God to lead them to who to marry but they are not positioned for it. Their hearts are not destiny driven.
Child of God, understand that God will never lead you in your marital journey if the release of divine destiny is not the reason for your marital aspirations. The flesh or other factors will be what is leading you, and sometimes they will do that as God, leading you to a painful marital end.
Sadly, most marriages today, are joined together by lust, pride, sexual passion, tradition, religion, convenience, Church leaders, etc.
Destiny partnership is not what is joining people together. As a result, the arm of the LORD is visibly absent in so many marriages; the arm of the flesh is what you see from start to finish, leaving them to struggle with demons or devilish circumstances.
I reiterate again that God will not sustain or bless what man joined.
What man joined could even become prosperous with the prosperity of the wicked, but God will never be part of it. God will only be part of what He formed from the foundation of the world.
Except there is a reconstruction, what men found or joined together and call marriage, will never fulfil God’s perfect will in time or eternity, no matter how glorious it looks in the sight of men. That is why God will never sustain or put a blessing on it.
Most times the single and married pay greater attention to weddings. We do not check if the people we are bringing together are destiny partners.
We focus on weddings without checking if the people getting married are designed by the LORD to be destiny partners.
WE THINK A GLORIOUS WEDDING CAN TRANSLATE INTO A BLISSFUL HOME. BUT THAT IS WRONG.
Understand that, a wedding ceremony may be glorious but that will never translate into a glorious marriage, if destiny partnership is not responsible for the couples coming together.
I have come to realize that there is no marriage principle that will work if the Holy Ghost has not planted the peace and prosperity of God in a marriage. And the peace and prosperity of God, can only be planted in a marriage that is unleashing a divine destiny.
A marriage that is fulfilling its divine destiny, will have the Holy Spirit as the secret of its success, not a marriage principle.
Someone once wrote a book titled “Making your marriage work.” It was a good read that blessed me when I read it at 19 years of age. But I grew up to discover that the principles he wrote about will never work if the Holy Ghost is not present.
We can go on and on, but this is a devotional not a book on marriage. I believe the LORD has spoken to someone this morning.
If your prophetic destiny needs a glorious marriage to be fulfilled, you must make sure that you are married to a destiny partner not just a life partner. A major verse in our devotional text says;
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD.” Proverbs 18:22 NKJV
We can say without doing damage to this scripture that whosoever finds a spouse finds a good thing.
The only spouse that will be a good thing in your life, is a spouse who is designed to be your destiny partner not just your life partner. And you do not find such with your own eyes, you find him or her using the eyes of the LORD.
You find such a spouse when you become destiny driven.
The message of the LORD this morning is simple. If your destiny needs a marriage to be fulfilled, let God help you find that person. However, the help will only be possible if you are divine destiny driven. That is the message!
