THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 14TH FEBRUARY 2024)

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:31-36 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 45TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.

We thank the LORD God Almighty, for His mercies in our lives and marvelous kindness. We thank Him for not dealing with us according to our sins.

He has been our redemption sacrifice, which is why we do not raise any altar of sacrifice. He has been our oil of empowerment, which is why we do not use oil in prayer. He has been our judge, which is why none has been able to bring us down through their dark and false accusations.

He has been our LORD, which is why no one has been able to own us or practice witchcraft on us. He has been our KING, which is why no dark kingdom has been able to hurt us successfully.

He has been our man of war, which is why He fights every of our battles. He said in His word, “I will fight for you, and you will hold your peace.”

There is so much about this One and Only True God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent, that we cannot put on paper. Simply, He is our all in all, and has placed a call on the human race; a call to come worship Him. That was why we were created.

We accept Jesus as LORD and Savior to answer the call to come worship Him. That is why you cannot be seen as worshiping God if Jesus is not your LORD and Savior. The human race is under a divine obligation to worship Him.

Yes, if you are alive today, the purpose is to worship the One and Only True GOD. Any other thing you might have taken as your reason for being alive would be wrong.

It is therefore important that we know what worship is. Many have taken worship to be singing, but worship is not singing. Worship is living. It is living a life that is in perfect harmony with God’s will, word, ways, and standards.

That life begins here on earth by our coming to the LORD, accepting His will, ways, word and Spirit, and gets fully perfected when we get to Heaven.

Friend, Heaven will be a place of eternal worship; a place of eternal synchronicity with God Himself, not just His will, word, ways, or standards. When we live our lives under the LORDSHIP of Christ and get there, we will be perfected to offer eternal worship to the LORD.

UNTIL THEN, WE ARE TO OFFER TRUE WORSHIP NOW.

There is false worship and there is true worship. Those who take worship to be singing, do not understand worship. That is why you might find beautiful songs on their lips but will never find true worship in their lives.

What is missing today is true worship.

There is nothing that heals a man like true worship. There is nothing that delivers a man from the evil of a generation like true worship. There is nothing that makes a man ready for the next life like true worship. There is nothing that makes us Heaven worthy and ready like true worship.

True worship delivers from the sword of the enemy of our souls. There is a way it paralyzes the anger and attacks of the aggrieved. It has a way of neutralizing the venom of the serpent, and quenching the fires of the dragon kindled against us.

True worship is God’s only way of rescuing us from the snares of the wicked, the pits of hell, the terror that walks by night, or the destruction that parades the day looking for who to destroy. That is why it is very dangerous to allow true worship to be missing in your life.

True worship is not singing but living. We might sing to worship God but true worship is not singing. It has a way of unleashing the power of the Cross of Jesus Christ upon our lives, because of the Crucified life it leads us into.

Yes, true worship will produce a crucified life in us. It is the only way one can release a prophetic or an eternal destiny. That is why, if you take true worship of the One and only true God out of your life, you will bring yourself to the same plane with fallen angels.

People who live their lives on the same spiritual plane with fallen angels, have a lot that they struggle with. They struggle with evil spirits, all kinds of spiritual attacks, curses, incurable diseases, broken homes and broken hearts, terrible financial hardship, a life of sin, iniquity and trespass, etc.

Some will get married but will not be able to stay married. Others will not be able to get married at all. Some others will be so crafty and deceptive that even the devil will scream. The will have hearts that are darkened and wicked.

THE WORST LIFE TO LIVE ON EARTH, IS A LIFE THAT IS LIVED ON THE SAME SPIRITUAL PLANE WITH FALLEN ANGELS.

It is a terrible life that keeps one going for deliverance from place to place.

Sadly, preachers make great fortune from people living the life, by asking them to raise altars of sacrifice to be free, embark on this or that other kind of prayer and fasting, etc.

They administer to them solutions that do not really give them the rest they need. They give them oil, salt, water, clothes, and etc. to use in prayer and all that, promising them a liberty they will never get.

I submit to you that no amount of oil poured on your head, water given to you, money given to a prophet, or prayer and fasting, can take you from the spiritual plane of fallen angels. Only true worship can take any out of the spiritual planes of fallen angels.

True worship will not just take you out of that plane, but will comfortably position you in the spiritual plane created by the LORD for His sons and daughters. The Bible described that place or realm as, “far above principalities and powers.”

That is the realm that when you live in, no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Paul lived in that realm. That was why all he went through never destroyed him. He was struck down severally but not destroyed. Persecuted but not forsaken. Rejected but remained strong. Never suffered any spiritual attacks from what people call evil altars and all that.

He was divinely preserved because he lived his earthly life from that realm.

One day a dangerous serpent bit him, and he shook the snake and threw it into the fire, suffering no harm. Instead a healing virtue from the LORD who he sits with, flowed from him and healed so many after the attack of the enemy. Most of us today would not have survived that. You find the incident in Acts chapter 28.

WHAT TRUE WORSHIP WILL DO IN YOUR LIFE IS MUCH MORE THAN WORDS CAN CAPTURE. IT WILL MAKE YOU A WONDER IN A DARK WORLD.

There was another time that Paul slept in the deep of the ocean for 24 hours and came out fine. Thrice he was beaten with rods and came out well. Those things are not possible if you live in the spiritual plane of fallen angels, a plane Satan wants the human race to be living in.

That is why he would always persecute you anytime true worship begin to come out of you. The vision is to frustrate your faith and cause you to return to a live of no true worship; a life that is lived from the spiritual plane of fallen angels.

Some of the beautiful things God does to those who live lives of true worship, is captured in our devotional text. A major highlight of the text says;

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? …Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns?

It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

True worship puts us in the spiritual place where no one can successfully be against us. It puts us in a place where none can bring a charge against us. It positions us for the blessing of the intercessions of Christ.

If there is anything to pursue these end times, it is true worship.

Pursue it more than you pursue food, money, or survival. It might give you a cross of Christ to carry, but that will be to protect you from carrying the cross of sorrows, consequences of sin, or satanic bondage.

True worship will help you to fulfil your divine destiny. It will give you things that eyes have not seen, ears heard, or hearts conceived. It will bring you to the place of accessing the blessings that God prepared for those who love Him, long before the foundation of the world.

I believe God has spoken to us all. The message of the LORD this morning is simple; we should never allow our hearts to be a dwelling place of false worship. The horrors of the last days will catch up with us if we do.

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY!

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:9-14 NKJV
