THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM

TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 6TH MAY 2024)

“Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted.

So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.” Exodus 40:33-38 NIV

WELCOME TO THE 127TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF IMPACT.

It’s been a blessing, waking up each morning and receiving LIGHT and UNDERSTANDING from the LORD. His banner over us is love. He has been talking to us because of His love for us. We give Him the glory for all that.

We are in a prophetic season of the opening of seals – seals of divine revelations of the kingdom, power, and glory of God. He brought us into His banqueting hall partly because of that. The opening of seals triggers the opening of portals.

I trust God to open a seal to you this morning in Jesus’ precious name!

If you are not one of those who have not been taught deep Bible truths, you will know some of the details of what is known as the Tabernacle of Moses in theology or the Bible.

The Tabernacle of Moses was a Tabernacle that Moses built by the hands of men God chose and filled with the Spirt of wisdom. It was a prototype of God’s Tabernacle in Heaven.

Redemptive plans are executed according to things that are written in Heaven. The construct of the Tabernacle was therefore a pattern of things in Heaven planned to be executed on earth in their set times and seasons.

The details of the Tabernacle of Moses contains the totality of God’s redemptive plan for mankind, from the day Adam left the garden of Eden to the day Jesus will come to take the Church home.

If you want to know what God is doing for our age and time, you will need to look at the seven feast of the LORD, but if you want to know where you are in your personal faith or walk with God, you will need to look at the Tabernacle of Moses.

Why are we called to be disciples or learners of Christ? One of the major reasons is to bring us into the revelation knowledge of all that’s is contained in the Tabernacle of Moses, because Christ is actually the fulfilment of all about the Tabernacle of Moses.

If we come into the revelation knowledge of the Tabernacle, we will align with God’s plans and patterns revealed in the Tabernacle. Yes, we will come into its fulfilment in our lives, resulting in the manifestation of the kingdom, power, and glory of God.

If you want to see your life animated by Heavenly glory, you must learn to walk in Heavenly patterns revealed in the Tabernacle and fulfilled in Christ.

THESE PATTERNS ARE TAUGHT AS PRECEPTS OR SCRIPTURAL MORAL CODES.

When you find the pattern of God for your life and begin to walk in it, you will begin to radiate an aspect of the glory of God on the face of the earth. You will begin to move from glory to glory because it is a life that is lived according to Heavenly patterns, that moves from glory to glory.

That is why God will always want us to come into the revelation of His plans or patterns for our lives on earth, and propel us to strictly stick to them. When giving Moses the plans for the Tabernacle, GOD said to Him;

“And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. Exodus 25:40 NKJV

This is one major truth to live our days by as believers. We are called to lead our lives according to Heavenly patterns for them on earth.

Like Moses was told to build the Tabernacle, so are we to build our lives; we are to build them according to the patterns which are shown to us by the Holy Spirit.

Our passion should be to make our lives align with the patterns revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. When we live our lives according to the Heavenly pattern for them, we will be walking in God’s kingdom rules, divine instructions, and directives.

We will not live in sin or lawlessness because none of that is a Heavenly pattern. Rather, both are products of living our lives according to the pattern of the flesh, or the pattern of the influence of the evil one, or the corrupt world.

In fact, when you start living in sin as a believer, you are living your life outside God’s pattern for it.

When you lie, for example, you have just done something that is not God’s pattern for your life. When you fornicate, commit adultery, or any other form of sexual sin, you have just done something that is outside God’s pattern for your life.

When you steal, walk in craftiness, greed, covetousness, or unbelieve, you are living your days outside God’s Heavenly pattern for your life. No one lives their days outside God’s pattern for their lives and not pay the terrible price for it in the long run.

THAT IS WHY WE SUFFER SO MUCH FROM SUCH THINGS.

Our lives will only be filled with God’s glory, peace, prosperity, fullness, and a permanent goodness if we live our days according to the Heavenly pattern for them.

Understand that, People who live their days according to God’s Heavenly pattern for them, do not live in sin, unbelieve, darkness, error, corruption, immorality, or any other form of lawlessness because, none of that is a product of a Heavenly pattern.

There is another thing many of us do that shows we are living our days outside God’s Heavenly pattern for them. That thing is, when we start comparing ourselves with others, or when we start using the success of others as a yard stick for our own success.

The Bible says, comparing ourselves with ourselves we are not wise. Living our days according to the Heavenly pattern for our lives, does not even give room for any comparism, because my pattern is not your pattern, and your pattern is not my pattern.

If I begin to compare myself to you, I will end up walking away from my Heavenly pattern into yours, losing the glory of my own pattern and never getting the fullness of yours; I will begin to live your days instead of my days and that is not wise.

Even in ministry, many preachers are not fulfilling their own ministries but that of others. They looked into the ministry of others and saw the success they crave for and began to compare, then they began to copy what that person is doing.

Today, they have become an extension of that person’s ministry. Their own is still unknown to the planet.

We are to compare ourselves with God’s plans for our lives, not with the success or failure of others. When you compare yourself to others, you begin to copy what they are doing, when you copy what they are doing, you are living their pattern of life not yours.

Understand that sometimes, it is when we are ignorant of God’s pattern for our lives we compare them to others. It is when we do not know what He wants out of our lives, that we will begin to bring forth what He does not want out of it.

ALIGNING OUR LIVES WITH GOD’S PATTERN FOR THEM, IS A NECESSITY OF LIFE.

God wants His glory to be shooting forth from our lives, but that can only happen if we align with His Heavenly patterns for them.

The Bible says;

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV

I believe, some of the things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard, are God’s Heavenly patterns for our lives. They are not things you find on the surface of religious thinking or activities. They are things you only find in the depths of God; things that will require a search to come into.

We must be ready to get our spirits sharpened with Bible truths, so that we can come into the realm of accurately picking those patterns in the depths of God’s Spirit and living our days by them.
If our spirits are not sharpened, especially with the rod of sound Bible teachings, we will never be able to come into that realm.

Yes, like many have already done, and are doing, you may take something on the surface and call it God’s pattern for your life as a result, but will never come into an accurate knowledge of what the authentic pattern for your life really is.

This devotional is to urge you to desire to live your days according to God’s pattern for them. It is to urge you to come into realms of Bible Truths where you can pick those patterns.

There are so many who are living their days outside God’s pattern for them, leading to broken lives; lives full of hurts, pain, disappointments, and etc. That is not the will of God. No one will truly live a life according to a Heavenly pattern and not see the glory of the LORD kindling it on daily bases.

A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS,

“Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

From this scripture, it is clear that it was when Moses finished the work of the Tabernacle according to the pattern shown to him by the LORD, that the glory of the LORD descended upon it.

In the same way, it is when we will lead our lives according to God’s Heavenly patterns for them, that our lives will experience the fullness of His glory resting on it. It is not when we raise altars, silence some, pray with oil, go to this mountain or the other one for prayers, or sow a seed to a preacher. It is when we align with God’s pattern of life for our individual lives.

We are like the Tabernacle of Moses, just as Christ is. There is a divine plan, process, and pattern for us to lead our earthly lives according to. God wants us to discover it and begin to live our days by it, until our lives are filled with His glory.

As we bring this to a close, understand that, we are in the days of the covering of God’s glory. Let us therefore, make up our minds to walk away from all that we have entangled ourselves with, all that is not God’s pattern of life for us.

Yes, let us come into alignment with God’s Heavenly pattern of life for us. Until that happens, struggle will continue, suffering will remain, captivity will be present, and all that we hate seeing our lives experience will be happening.

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR US TODAY!

“Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.

And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3 AMPC
