TODAY’S DEVOTION (Tuesday 26th October 2021)
“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:26-31 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 299TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF HIGHER HEIGHTS.
Welcome to a fresh day from the LORD. As we have always maintained on this platform of grace and truth, our whole duty as men is to fear God and depart from evil.
Becoming a Christian is a calling to do just that all your life.
That is why Christianity is not a religion, but a life outsourced from Heaven to the earth. This life is full of holiness, God’s kingdom power, truth, faithfulness and Christ like virtues. Anything outside that is not Christianity but insanity.
The kind of Christianity in the church today is simply insanity in practice. I cannot imagine how a Sunday school teacher or any other Church worker or preacher will be having sexual intercourse with people they are not married to – living in terrible sins of fornication or adultery and saying nothing can separate them from the Love of God. It’s really terrible!
Willfully living in sin and calling yourself saved is a terrible deception.
There are so many sex slaves in Church today who see nothing wrong with their lives of sins. When the Bible says nothing can separate us from the love of God, it listed those things. It did not say sin cannot separate us from the LOVE of GOD. Sin separated Adam from the Garden of God’s love, Eden, and has been separating people from the love of God from generation to generation.
You may be a pope, if you are living in any kind of sin; you have already separated yourself from the love of God demonstrated towards you on the cross. You only need to return to it through repentance, because if you die in that state, you will go to hell.
GOD LOVES SINNERS BUT NOT THE SINS THEY ARE LIVING IN.
The Bible says because of the sins they live in He is angry with them every day. Each time a Church worker or preacher live in grievous sins like adultery, fornication, stealing, lying and etc., and refuse to repent from it, color red (which represent divine fury) will be released from the throne room.
Friend, there is a lot of divine fury burning in the lives of so many in Church today because of the terrible sins they live in calling themselves saved. Sin attack is the greatest attack on the human race today. You read of so many terrible things happening in Church – things that even unbelievers will never do.
Child of God, if present day Christians do not hear the authentic gospel and change from our wicked ways, there will be more Church people in hell than those who never went to Church. Hell is enlarging itself daily, taking out many in Church.
Because of the sinful life style of many of us, agents of the devil now sit comfortably in many local Churches, serving in different capacities and executing the agenda of the kingdom of darkness right in Church, without even the Church leaders noticing it. They kill, they steal and destroy, and the blind preachers blame it on the evil altars in people’s villages.
We call ourselves Christians but there is nothing Christians about us, that is why these things are happening.
Many of us are just in a big religious game, thinking we will make Heaven. Which Heaven are we going to living such terrible sinful lives? We call Jesus LORD but do not do the things He said in His word.
For instance, He warned strongly against sexual sins, lying, hypocrisy, deception, unforgiveness, wickedness many other forms of ungodliness and sinful acts, yet we get involved in them calling Him LORD. Jesus says;
“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?
Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49 NKJV
IF WE CALL HIM LORD AND DO NOT DO WHAT HIS WORD SAYS, OUR RUIN IN THE NEXT LIFE WILL BE GREAT!
Yes, we will fall into the pits of hell when we die because that is what our sinful choices decided for us. It is a man’s decision or life choices that determined his eternal destination. This is a call to repentance!
We must understand the decisions that our sinful acts are making for us. For instance, when a preacher or any born again child of God decides to sleep with someone he or she is not married to, he or she has decided to make hell his or her home after death.
When a Church member decides to get money through fraudulent living calling it shrewdness or divine favor, he or she has decided to make the pits of hell his or her dwelling place after death.
When a single Christian woman decides to sleep with men she is not married to, maybe for money or mare sexual gratification, she has decided to make the pits of hell her resting place when she dies.
When a single Christian man decides to make his life comfortable through sex with rich women, he has just decided to make hell his resting place after death.
The sins we commit are helping us make destiny decisions, but the decisions are destructive in nature.
If we call Jesus LORD and do not follow it up with godly and Christ like choices; if we make sinful living our lifestyle, believing the lie that sinful preachers peddle saying “nothing shall separate us from the love of God” our ruin in the next life will be great. The Bible says;
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7-8 NKJV
THIS SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR ON THE ETERNAL DESTINATION OF THOSE OF US LEADING SINFUL LIVES.
It made it clear that anyone who calls Jesus LORD and lives in sin is a lost sinner going to hell thinking he will make Heaven.
We render the things Jesus did on the cross ineffective in our lives if we live in sin after ‘giving our lives to Christ.’ In fact, living in sin is the greatest sign that you have taken your life back from Christ. Our devotional text today says,

These are some of the Scriptures that should make us ask ourselves which Bible some of these adulterated grace preachers and Christians are reading, when they live in sin and claim nothing shall separate us or them from the LOVE of God.
The Bible is clear on sin. It says if we call ourselves saved and live a life of sin thereafter we are lost. There no longer remains a sacrifice for sin but a fearful expectation of Judgment and fiery indignation in this life and the life to come.
That makes giving our lives to Christ without following it up with a life of righteousness but a life of sin a destructive thing. Let no one deceive you; this scripture makes it clear that living a life of sin after a salvation decision will neutralize the finished works of Jesus in your life.
In other words, if you give your life to Christ and then slip back into adultery, fornication, stealing, lying or any wicked thing or sinful life, you have just taken it back. It does not matter what you may be doing in Church – you could be a pastor, prophet, apostle, evangelist, Bishop, archbishop or whatever.
Sadly, if you die in that state, hell will be your home because you have trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which you were sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace!
THE QUESTION NOW IS, ARE YOU INSULTING THE SPIRIT OF GRACE BY YOUR DECISIONS OR PROMOTING THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?
So many preachers and Church members today have taken their lives back from Christ by insulting the spirit of grace. Sadly, they do not know that. By their lifestyles, Jesus is no longer LORD in their lives. Hence living opposite his ways and will for their lives.
Consequently, He can no longer lead them in life like He did in to men like Paul and the rest of the Holy Brethren in the early church. Another spirit now leads them.
We must understand that a generation that sins willfully after salvation decision, is no longer saved. It has slipped into apostasy!
When a people slip into apostasy, the lawless become lawful to them.
Adultery, fornication and all forms of abominations like gay marriages, lesbianism and all kinds of terrible sins will be redefined and treated as weakness instead of abominations.
God is calling on you and I to wake up to righteousness!
Yes, we have slept in sin for too long! Many are dying and falling, like the great house Jesus spoke about, into the pits of hell. They have become part of the heaps of lost souls in the pits of hell today; sadly, from the church, not even from the world.
We must ask ourselves some questions. Why should I go to hell from the Church? Why should I be bound to a life of sin after the LORD has set me free? Why should a life of sin and wickedness be embraced after embracing the LORD?
Listen to the sound. I believe Heaven is weeping over many of us this day like Jesus wept over Jerusalem. The version of Christianity we live today is alien to the faith. It is a version hell gave fallen preachers to carve out for our generation. This version of Christianity that condones all kinds of sexual sins and all kinds of other form of sins, is from hell not from Heaven. If we do not throw it away, it will throw us in hell.
If you keep sinning willfully, maybe to take care of your economic life, keep your marriage, or just satisfy your carnal desires, and feeling nothing about it, you are trading your soul. You have just been plugged into the deception of hell. It’s a dangerous drive that may gain you the world but throw your soul into the pits of hell.
Time to stop! Time to look for a Church that teaches righteousness and plant yourself. If you are already in one, time to stop trading your soul and start applying the grace and truth God is releasing through that Church.
Time to start making decisions that will attract Heavens attention and Change your life for the better like the prodigal son did. Time to return back home and be like the Older son in that story who did not leave the fathers House, but stayed there serving eternally.
